Try wiping battery status(you can do it by 3 diferent ways:searching for an app in the market called battery calibrator, by recovery, or deleting batterystats.bin in data/system), if this not work, just remove your battery and put it again.

It's in the advanced menu if memory serves me correct. But yes the battery calibration apps do the same thing.
Deleting the batterystats.bin file in /data/system yourself via root explorer is another way.
using the wipe battery stats in CWM doesnt seem to do much for me, i dont get a confirmation like with all the other actions
I have tryed everything except flashing a new rom im kinda scared to do so dnt wanna f something up n brick my phone but my battery after the update is horrible i mean horrible ill go to sleep bout 1 am with 100% n wake bout 1030 am with a dead phone b4 update it was amazing 12 to 18 hrs heavy use but now the metal clip that holds the sd card gets so hot it will burn u if u even attempt to touch it and i have another batt i use so its def not the batt anybody have any idea wat i can do i also have froze all the att bloat with tb

Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App
Uh..I must keep it in fridge
Btw how to know how much it is heated & what's normal?
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
If the phone is hot, the battery is overheated. It cannot be simpler.
If it's not overheated, try another ROM/Kernel and eventually buy a new battery. There are cheap ones on eBay.
Try taking out your battery.
Go to recovery and wipe battery stats.
Then reboot put in battery.

i jus hope ur battery does not explode
why don't u try getting a new battery? maybe that'll fix it?
I would definitely invest in a new battery cause that ain't normal
even when i would forget to wipe batterystats.bin or overheat the battery (damn you wifi tether y u so hot) i wouldn't have this issue

well as its winter so need o keep it in fridge rather just open the battery in night and re-insert it in the morning try complete wipe all data, battery, stats and system than after installing a rom try callibirating the battery.
But remember whenever u land into prob calibirting is not good so just do it this time and avoid it as far as possible.I don't want any discussion on callibirating, if any ody says its good just go ahead and calibirate as much as u want.
Could you please use a more sensible topic title next time?

If you didnt use your pohne at all it isnt normal unless you have **** syncing.

Fserve's .32 kernel also have multitouch and CPU touch fix! Gogogo
Oh yeah, try go betterbatterystats "process" and see if there is any *suspend* processwhich is at the top few process(do this on a clean boot and leave your phone untouch and dont use any apps yet for about an hour or two). If so, go back to .32 and be happy

I was saved. But always flash when battery more than 75%.
use standalone charger or sumthin to put juice into battery

let me tell u something....if a "write" operation is going on on d sdcard, and ur phone runs out of juice, ur sdcard will be fried. i have already done that to 2 cards. (once by accident, and once again just to verify it, i tried again on my very old 1gb card. both died. ) and by dying, i mean it seriously. they could not b recovered using any way, they are just notrecognised at all on any device anymore.

Try your battery on a different phone and if you can't then try flashing different ROM and see how battery behaves? Still same then probable you may have to change the battery...

You battery may need calibrated
Power off phone
Plug into wall charger
Leave phone off until you reach 100% charge
Boot phone to xRecovery and wipe battery stats
Pull battery out for 10 seconds
Put battery back
Charge again to 100%
Wipe battery stats again
Boot phone up and charge once more to 100%
Then leave charging for 30 more minutes
Unplug charger
Goto settings / about / status
See if it says 100%
Leave phone for 5 minutes
Check battery stats again
Should show 100% still
Please note mobile data connection eats battery if you have syncs set too often

It seems I got the same problem.
On a full standby (wifi, data, gps, bt screen, etc all off) it usually wasted 1% per hour, I mean, if I went to sleep for 8 hours after a full charge, it should had wasted only about 8-10& of my battery, getting me about 3 days (72h) of battery.
Now, again on full standby after 1h30m I have only ~88% of battery. With data on and using it, I have nearly 1h15min of full charge... Its nothing...
Already tried 2 diferent kernels, Cosmic but non OC, and v1113 dooms, both go well on deep sleep, just cant get whats going on since it was from nothing. On 4 distinc roms (FeraLab v20, Dolphin v2.2.8, Cosmic v06 and old TEAMs) it happens.
The time it took me to write this, it waster 7%..
Any ideas?

What are you trying to say? You lost 12% of battery with 90 mins and you want to know why? What kernel you r on right now and also what ROM are you using?

No, the most important thing is the drain on deep sleep: from my last post till now (about 9h on deep sleep) it wasted 50% of battery.
The phone is wasting a lot of battery on stand by, seems to be always awaken

i think the problem is your battery. the battery seems to be deteriorated, so it begins to drain so fast. buy a new one or try mugen battery. please press thanks button if i helped you man.
I've always used FeraLab on Doom's even when ferakernel didn't exists and never had problems.
The weird thing is that sometimes it drains for example till 48%, then after 2h it goes to 51%, and after that it behaves normal (10h = 10%), then the drain begins
