I had experienced this. I observed that when you connect it to a charger it won't charge but when I used to connect it to my laptop it would show charging light. Strange but true.
I was saved. But always flash when battery more than 75%.
use standalone charger or sumthin to put juice into battery

let me tell u something....if a "write" operation is going on on d sdcard, and ur phone runs out of juice, ur sdcard will be fried. i have already done that to 2 cards. (once by accident, and once again just to verify it, i tried again on my very old 1gb card. both died. ) and by dying, i mean it seriously. they could not b recovered using any way, they are just notrecognised at all on any device anymore.

not yet fixed my problem guys....any one who knows solution for this problem please help me
Take it back to the shop.
If it oesnt turn on they wont be able to see you have rooted it.
They will either fix it or if you have insurance or warrenty give you a new one.
Ps, if you have insurenace make sure you dont lose it or have it stolen...
Dude it looks like you have the weird motherboard problem I think it can't be fixed with flashing :/ take it back to the shop, if you rooted it the worst it can happen is that they are going to tell you to that they are not going to fix your phone or something, but at least you should give it a try (((*._.)

i had this problem once..... just go and borrow someone's X10 and charge the BATTERY, or buy a separate charger... dont charge through your phone...
after charge up to more then 50%... then u can flash it to whatever you want
hope that helps
Hey, about that charge thing. My battery died once when flashing, I placed it on charger for 9 hours and it didn't charge. But the trick is... I placed it on charge using USB cable, Just plug it in and leave it turned off. No light will appear probably since your phone SW is busted but it will definitely charge.
i have the same problem ...but the thing is ..i have a friend battery and still not working ..and when i plug the phone to charge it ...the battery is charging but the phone still dosent turn on and the warranty is out ..becouse this problem that i have after started after 2..3 weeks when the warranty was out( sorry for my english)

It's in the advanced menu if memory serves me correct. But yes the battery calibration apps do the same thing.
Deleting the batterystats.bin file in /data/system yourself via root explorer is another way.
using the wipe battery stats in CWM doesnt seem to do much for me, i dont get a confirmation like with all the other actions
I have tryed everything except flashing a new rom im kinda scared to do so dnt wanna f something up n brick my phone but my battery after the update is horrible i mean horrible ill go to sleep bout 1 am with 100% n wake bout 1030 am with a dead phone b4 update it was amazing 12 to 18 hrs heavy use but now the metal clip that holds the sd card gets so hot it will burn u if u even attempt to touch it and i have another batt i use so its def not the batt anybody have any idea wat i can do i also have froze all the att bloat with tb

Did you calibrate your battery? You are supposed to everytime you install a new rom. Charge to 100 percent, boot to recovery, wipe battery stats, drain the battery down till phone powers off, plug it in and boot to android, charge to 100 again without break.

If you let the phone power down by itself, when you plug it in it will boot to the charge only screen. If you hold the power button as you plug it in and keep it held it will skip that screen and boot straight to android. And yeah, try not to use the phone while its charging.

Whats not working? The holding the power button thing? Thats ok, it doesnt screw up the process of calibrating. It will let you hold the power button and boot to android from the charging screen once it registers anything more than 0 percent. It also takes a few days of use after the calibration to really see a change. Youre just reading a little too far into it. Just boot to 100, wipe bat stats, drain it to 0, boot it back up and let it charge to 100. Use your phone normally for a few days after that and youll notice the difference.

May be its time for u to replace the 'Batt' .
But before hand try with an alternate Batt (may be one from ur friend's phone) and see if the same issue persist's or not .
Ya the boy is around 2 years old so maybe I gotta replace it

Hey
I have aproblem that is so strange!
For example when I turn off my mobile it restarts!
Even if I pull out the battery and put it in it just power on automatically! !
Sometimes if the phone successfully was turent off, when I press any button it indicates that it is charging!
And now the battery is full even though am using it for around 2hrs
So my question is: is it a phone hardware or battery issue?

mine was like that after moisture damage and then a wrong charger it gets ok after time, it started charging the battery to 5.00v instead of 4.2 n all, stop charging that battery at 95% for like 10 charges and it will come back to normal in no time

as i said it just went away after a while i think the problem is being caused by overcharge, so when u keep charging it to 95% the voltages come back to normal.
In other words charge it till 95% for like 10 charges and it will be fixed.
Well gonna try and reply back thanks
