How do I get rid of the initial screen with the clock on it. In other words I'd like to go directly to the home screen after I hit the power button.
Thanks!
Try "No Lock" from the droid market it's free
Yep, no lock works great. I set the widget and tap it to go into no lockscreen mode and then I delete the widget. It will remain in that mode til you decide to change it.
hi guys, I'm using samsung galaxy s2 with Widgetlocker for screen locking, but everytime i reboot my phone, widgetlock requires me to unlock twice to see the home screen, i found once i reboot to the lock screen, the first time unlock screen is in tool mode(with menu button activate), then i unlock this screen, the second time unlock screen is the real unlock screen(with no button activate). i want 2 skip the first tool mode screen once i reboot, anyone can tell me how 2 do that?
I'm using WidgetLocker too, you can select the option to override the default Samsung lock at boot, however, you will still see the default Samsung lock for a few seconds when rebooting the phone, but it will go away pretty fast and WidgetLocker will replace it.

yup, i see it too, but the problem is after it overrides the default lock screen, i have to unlock twice to get to the home screen. btw, i'm using go launcher, i tried using ADWlauncher and LauncherPro, no this problem, it may caused by the launcher...
I'm using Easy-wake mode in WidgetLocker which disables default lockscreen. If you don't wanna use that just go to WidgetLocker's advanced settings and disable stock lockscreen, first option from the top
I'm getting the same problem easy wake mode doesn't help - you reboot the phone, it goes straight to widget locker as normal, then u unlock and it drops into tool mode, then u unlock from tool mode, to get to the launcher. However I have noticed that once you get to the launcher nothing displays - oh and something else, when you get to the tool mode it is only then the app requests superuser permission. Very strange.
I'm using Go Launcher Ex as well....
And something else I've noticed that after all this happens, when you deliberately go into tool mode, the menu button no longer works so I now can't get to the settings to submit a bug report
Infact I've had to uninstall and go back to the main lock screen for now until this is fixed...
I have no problem with WidgetLocker, but i gotta agree there are so many settings in it and if you don't choose them correctly WidgetLocker doesn't work the way you want. Even though i can understand English pretty well, i'm having troubles figuring out which option does what
I recommend you go in settings > manage app, delete all the widget locker data, delete widget locker, then reinstall.
With default settings, and my screen lock deactivated in settings, it behaves as expected.

Are you rooted?
hi, how to set WidgetLocker as default?
when i press the power button, i always need to unlock for 2 times. 1 time for widgetlocker, and 1 time is default screen lock..
Having the exact same issue. I am also using GoLauncher, so maybe there's the problem??
It is very frustrating as I really like this lock screen replacement.

Same here using Go Launcher that's why i use Go Lock screen now pretty slick with Sense theme even though less tweakable...
Try WL Beta 2.2.2+
Using WL 2.2.1 on rooted SG2 never had this issues so far on any firmware. At moment Im on kj3 Dutch. Search in XDA there is a beta WL came out last week or so you may want to try this.
When I'm in an application, music player, browsing the web or looking at an email, if I turn off the screen, NOT the phone, then reactivate the screen it always goes back to the home screen, why?
I want it to stay where I left it, not have to go back hitting applications to be where I was.
Is there any way of stopping this annoyance?
My milestone 2 doesn't do this, it stays where it was left.
Thanks

My Atrix doesnt do this. You must have ticked a setting box in a launcher or lockscreen to "always take you home". widget locker? Or a dif lockscreen? You chose this option the Atrix does not do it on its own.

Thank you, I found the setting in widget locker.
Bliss, now I can carry on with enjoying the Atrix.
Running Go launcher and locker on my SGS2 running VillianRom 3. I have a pattern lock enabled too.
Oddly what I turn on the phone instead of sliding to unlock and enter my unlock pattern if I press the home button the phone goes to the home page and bypasses the pattern lock security.
DOes anyone else get this at all with Go launcher and Locker?
Home button?
Patten doesn't even apply...
It just normally unlocks without patten and i had even setted it two times
I use MiLocker more Lockscreens and home button fix... It works and look beautifully. GoLauncher look nice too but not so good theme

Yes. I get this too, on stock ROM. I think, home button is closing the application, since Go Locker is an application.
Just disable the home button to see if that fixes it
Try setting Go Locker as your default launcher rather than Go Launcher.
There is a home button fix in go locker settings. However you have to keep redoing it when the theme gets an update.

Hello.
I am unable to find in Settings the option for choosing the lock screen widgets.
I enter this option only from the Add button from the lock screen. I have a Nexus 4 with Android 4.2.2.
Where can I find this option?
Thank you,
George.
There is no option in the Settinsg to choose lock screen widgets.. You cam choose them via the Add button which you have mentioned.. I would also like to mention that all the widgets you have in you phone might not be supported for the lock screen.. the specific widgets which has this capability will appear once you press the + button to add them..
Thanks
OK, thank you for the answer.
I saw that not all my widgets appear in the list, for security issues.
