Could you be a little bit more specific?
When did you start seeing the problem? What do you mean the evo3d didn't have this problem?
Are you using stock app or the Amaze Camera?

I thinks its all camera apps. My OG evo did not do this. Is there a line of code that we can edit to remove such "feature".

Front camera ain't working either for me, Idk what's wrong

I've noticed this problem since the ics leak. Everyone kept saying there is no problem but I've tried it on every ics rom I've used (cdma).
Anyway... If using an ics cdma rom, use the stock camera or the nodded stock camera meanrom included. Take a pic from the front camera, it looks normal as you take the pic, but when you view it in gallery, it is flipped left/right. Was hoping this was fixed in the official release.

New LG3D

LG announced their second 3D phone. I think it's pretty safe to say we will not see another 3D EVO. I would be happy just to get ICS and a fix for the camera lag and overexposed flash shots.

Ics and tablet view for cdma

Hi there folks, I personally own a gnex and I got the tablet mod on it and my gf is rly jealous of it and would want it for her evo 3d. Is there a ics with working camera (only 2d) and stable enough for everyday use and a tablet view mod? Can someone point me in the right place. Thank you

Check in development section there is a Rom called "the express". It's a mix of the EVO view and EVO 3d. I haven't tried it, but its probably as close as you can get for what your looking for

Currently no ICS builds have camera whatsoever, in any dimension.

Except toast's IRC builds of CM9. The camera has a green preview, but takes no pictures.

Yes from what I have read this ROM seems to be completely fully functional including both cameras (Front and rear)

Sorry for being slightly off topic, but since when did the Inspire 4G have a FFC? I used to want one but was slightly hesitant since AFAIK it doesn't have one

Yeah your right, I think he means using the rear facing camera for "front" facing tasks like video chat.

Sense camera on AOSP?

Is there a way to get the stock sense camera app on AOSP roms?

No. Sense is deeply wound into the framework. If it was even close to feasible it would have already been done. If that's what your looking for, your best bet is to "remove" sense from what ever ROM you want to run.
Or you could convince HTC to release the info that's needed.

Like that'll happen lol
I love aosp but the only thing that's preventing me from running it is the camera. I'm in love with the sense camera, therefore i'm tethered to sense...
Meh.
I dont use my camera often enough to run sense all the time.
I'll just leave a sense nandroid on my SD and restore to it when I know I'll be using my camera (at concerts lol)

It can be done I have a method in mind. Just can't compile that method yet.
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
I'd try the new 4.2 camera. it works similarly to the sense camera and can do everything it can do. 8mp, video, SS during video, panorama, etc etc.

Blurry Screen Shots MMS

Has anyone else come acroos Screen shots sent over MMS becoming blurry? Hasnt happened to me until JB. And I've found others having the problem on the sprint website.
Any solutions?
Try a custom rom? I believe that roms like super jelly have fixed that problem.

It could be they get compressed. Are you on a custom rom?
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
Yeah I know that its the compression and yes I'm on omj elite ROM. But I also flashed back to stock and had the same problems. Did a full wipe the ref lashed omjs ROM. Its too much compression.
Strange thing is when I put a picture take. From the camera into an MMS message then add a screenshot it isn't compressed as much.
Now I'm talking all words in any screen shot are completely illedgable.

Blurry MMS is a problem in stock jb sense
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
As previous poster mentioned....some roms have the compression fixed...when looking through Rom features in threads look for "0 mms compression" or something similarly worded in the list, or just ask the developer....I'm currently using a 100% running Rom from another source that is stock looking with sense with tweaks ect that has it fixed and they sent full size... (don't wanna mention site/source here in case its not allowed unless otherwise told it's ok)....but yes it is a known issue/feature in jb and some devs have corrected it in their roms...hope that points you in the right direction...

No I know what he's saying. If I attach a picture from my gallery, it works fine. But if its a screenshot, its compressed to hell. I wanted to ask about it too but I wasnt sure if there was already a thread for it. I'm not rooted, for the record.
