Just purchsed this... With the thunderbolt battery fitting in the rezound, this external battery charger should work in theory.

Dudes.... Just get the extended battery. I did the whole battery swap thing on the thunderbolt(had 5 extra batteries).... But finally said "no more!" and got the Mugen 4500mAh battery.
Ofcourse, 2750 isn't quite as much as 4500, but should still be enough so you don't have to keep spares around for swapping.
I have the Seidieo HTC Multifuction chargers w/ thunderbolt trays
Will the thunderbolt battery fit in rezound? Will the rezound battery fit the thunderbolt charger tray? Seideo says they haven't decided to support rezound yet .
I figured on going with the Otterbox Defender for Rezound since that
is rather like the Seideo Convert cases line and come with the belt holster.
Actually, I was contacted by Seidio. They have started production on Rezound accessories. Should see them in the coming weeks.

That's why I got the external charger so I can charge my other extended battery. I hate having my phone chained to a charger!
Heavy use gets me through half a day on the Rebound extended battery...

Will that charger work with the 2750 extended battery?
why spend 25 bucks on a charger when you can get one that will work for 5 bucks?

I was looking through ebay for a new battery for my thunderbolt and there were some extended batteries that were 3500mah for around $12. I was just wondering if these batteries are any good or safe to use because it just seems too good to be true.

I was wondering that too. I saw some on ebay where they had TWO 3500 mAh batteries for like $20 or something.
It's unlikely that they're close to the claimed capacity, but they're cheap enough to try.

I can answer this! I got the same 3500mAH battery off Ebay.. Is it safe? Yes, my Thunderbolt worked fine with it, but as far as it being good - well, you get what you pay for. I have the HTC 2750mAH battery and it lasts much better than the aftermarket one you're talking about. If you're looking for a decent extended battery that's still pretty inexpensive, there is one made by Yobado that's 2800mAH. I haven't tried it for my Thunderbolt, but I had a Droid X with a Yobado extended battery, and it actually worked pretty well.
I haven't tried one but do your research, some aftermarket on eBay work, i bought an extended galilo slim no added bulk battery for my evo 2000 mah and it def lasted longer than stock, i doubt it was really 2000 but an improvement and 2 for 15 dollars with a battery charger

just ordered a thunderbolt and will be looking for extra stock batteries (don't want the added thickness) and a dock which will charge them. I'm guessing 1 extra battery will probably get me through the day at work.
Anyone seen them?
edit:

Hey all.
Just wanted to post and say that my Sensation battery works flawlessly in my EVO 3D. Many reviews and tests on the Sensation boards are confirming the battery is indeed 1900mah so its a good deal for a $10 battery from California!
Is there any noticeable difference? I don't see what an extra 200 (or whatever it is) mah will do, still $10 isn't bad for just a general backup battery.

Eh its alright. I've only had the phone for a few days tho. I'll get back to ya.
I've had these batteries for a week now and do notice a slight increase over stock. However I only calibrated it 2x (full discharge and recharge).
Thanks for the info. Even if they are just 1730mah then they are still a great deal compared to $30 for a stock HTC battery! Got a link? I'm gonna order 1 or 2 tonight

Robstunner, can you confirm that this is the seller that you got yours from as well?
Oh, another question for any one with these batteries and charger. Does the battery show 100% charged when you put it in your phone after using the external charger? My ebay docking station with extra battery charger in the back doesnt fully charge. When I put in a battery off the charger, it reads from 86-94%. I've tried taking them out as soon as teh light turns green and also leaving them in 5 hours after the light is green, same results though...
If this one actually charges to 100%, then that is another added bonus!!! I can charger 2 extra batteries at the same time, and when the dock says its charged, I'll put the battery in the charger that comes with the Anker batteries to finish them off.

Thats what i got. I believe the Sensation users were saying that there is a 1930mah one made by anker for EVO3D. THe mentioned it because it also worked on the Sensation.
Can't find a seller in Germany..
Only one seller on ebay provides shipping to germany. One battery for $24,99 and shipping cost $5,00. Not a very good deal, is it? =/

Id like to know about the white charger as well. I have a black one from ebay for sensation and it charges the anker 1900mah up to 99% but it charges my oem up to 90%. I need a charger that will charge the OEM batt to alteast 99%.

Considering it is 1900mah and lasts a bit longer than OEM which cost more then I would say its a fair deal but not a great deal. Also not having an extra charger kinda makes it pointless to have an extra battery. Just my thoughts.
I have a couple of these and aso notice a bit of improvement over stock. Depending on my usage maybe 1 to 2 hours better. The charger seems to work fine for me as the voltage with the charger versus charging via the phone are identical. Testing with a multimeter after full charge.

So after using the white external charger to fully charge the battery, once it lights up that its done and you put the battery in the phone, the phone shows battery as 100% ?
So far for me these batteries run cooler and longer. Its pretty cool that the charger is universal and can charge almost any cell battery.
PS. They also always charge to 100 percent for me.

Yep sure does. Although I did wipe battery stats and did 2 full cycles this way. Seems strange that it would actually be 100% though since it does take some power to boot the phone. But I guess not enough to make a difference. I'm using ViperRom with a self made circle battery with %. System panel also shows 100% can't remember the voltage system panel showed, ill look next time I put one in if you're interested.

Are you guys still using OEM at all? I have 2 of these anker but I wanna get an extra one and forget about the stock so it doesnt screw up my battery stats.
I use them all including stock, the voltages seem to be pretty close and I get maybe an hour less on the stock bat with my usage. So I think you will be ok interchanging them.

Got my 3500 mAh battery a couple days ago. So far impressed, and is what I've needed. I couldn't go a 1/2 day with the 1750 mAh battery. Now I'm going 1.5 - 2 days before charges.
I am using the battery monitor app, but I'm not too keen on it's features. If there is something that you guys would like for me to look at, let me know. If I'm reading it right, I'm getting 13 hrs on this batter between charges.
BTW got the battery off of eBay ~8 w/ free shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251060188877?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Don't know what is up with the pricing, but it is now stating $57 and change.
Yea it is the black and white one.
I'd recommend this one for considerably less. About 10ish from Amazon, 13 on eBay:

Seidio Innocell 1900mAh
I am going to get the Seidio Innocell 1900mAh this week
I vouche for that laza battery. It is awesome works great
Honestly I couldn't go with a 1900. The extra 170mAh in my book is like throwing money away. In my case it would only give me another 1/2 of usage, and I would still be tied to a power outlet. Now I can go 3 days on one charge. When I get the time I'm going to cut out my Otter backing to allow me to use my Defender and cradle.
If the 4000mAh Seido battery weren't $50; compared to just $8 for a 3500 with backing, I would have gotten one. The longer I can go without charges the more I would inclined to go with a larger battery.
How long do the Laza batteries go for?
I'm using the Battery Monitor widget, but if someone could tell me where to look to see the estimation on battery life, I would post it up.

Well guys, I may have spoken too soon. Seems that the 3500 that I bought just went dead...for good. Won't take a charge. Charging light just blinks red, and phone will not power on. Works fine with my old 1700mAh batter. And this is less than 14 days of use.

if its blinking i believe that means its super discharged and requires to be hooked up to the charger until it stops blinking. try leaving it on the charger for a few hours, see if it comes back.

Gonna need more info to this, as I have never heard of a battery being super discharged. Already contacted the seller. $2 for s/h and I get another batt, and don't have to send back the old one.
I'd recommend this one, Yoobao 3500mah Extended Battery, the quality of Mugen and Sedio at half the price. Dont be fooled by the CHEAP batteries that you need 2 of that may ruin your EVO 3d there is a reason why they are $9 and no warranty. http://dx-box.com/yoobao-sprint-htc-evo-3d-3500mah-extended-battery-plus-back-battery-cover-door.html

my bros EVO 4G stopped working (stock battery) and all it did was blink red while plugged in. we left it plugged in for a while and it wasnt coming back on....
so after looking it up we figured out that sometimes the battery dies and go way below startup charge levels. to indicated this HTC phones will blink red. so we crossed our fingers and left it plugged in for 4 hours. maybe a little less.. and it came back like nothing had happened. hasn't been a problem since..
my bro admitted he ran it down, but i suspect the phone thought he had 50 percent still when in fact it had less than 0%
make sure your using a USB AC Adapter, a computer will likely take twice as long if at all
Here is what I believe happened with your battery. Its voltage dropped below a preset value. As you left it in the phone and on the charge, as the charger blinked red, the battery stabilized. Think of it this way, you leave your lights on your car and you get a dead battery. If you let it sit for a bit, you may regain enough amps to start the car. Essentially same principle here.
ETA: I swapped back to my 3500mAh battery, after it sat out in the open for a couple days. It now takes a charge. Will report back on its capacity. I expect it to take 6 hours to fully recharge.

Here's what you do. Get an extended battery. Buy an Otter Box Defender. Take the back plate of the Defender and cut out the battery section. Wrap it with the silicone case. Now you can still use the Defender's cradel. The Otter Box Defender has a built in kickstand, not many people know of. All you do is use the belt clip and open it as wide as it will go. At that point the clip will lock open, and there you'll have a kick stand.
Just don't know if it will work with your car phone stand, but now you have a case, a kick stand, and extended battery.
Sounds promising. I'll be sure to check it out.
I didn't know about the belt clip either.

Hi guys. So, my battery in my Amaze is not lasting long at all and I am looking for extra battery powers and things. It's between the Mugen 3600mAh vs the 2600mAh powerocks stick. The mugen is a big case for the phone adding aboit .9mm but has a bigger battery than then power rocks which is like a seperate portable charger. Which should I get? Would the mugen be too big when its on the phone? Would the power rock be impractable as I always have to carry that around with me? Please help and tell me when to do. Also, the power rocks is around $30 while the mugen is around $90.
Or should I just get a replaceable 2000mAh battery?

That's what I did. I have 2 extra Anker Batteries and an external charger that came with it. They are reported as being 1900mAH. I only carry 1extra one and have the 3rd battery on standby at home unless I go to Disneyland and expect to take tons of pictures then I'll bring it. Other than that 1spare to bring is sufficient enough for me.

Anker batteries is the way to go. 2x Batteries at Amazon for $30, and Charger dock that has multi purpose as well.
Ankers are way too expensive ordering from Canada and I need a new battery.
How does this one look?

I just dont know which one to get or even trust. I know anker is well known but ive also heard that they dont last that much longer than OEM's.
My #1 Choice
The first two things I purchase with a new phone are a Zagg invisishield for that phone, and a battery/charger combo from ebay. This ( ebay com/itm/2X-New-1800mAh-Battery-Dock-USB-Charger-for-T-Mobile-HTC-Amaze-4G-/180915086190?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2a1f61236e) is the one I ended up with, and no the battery life is not as long as the stock one, but it is definitely comparable. But, the charger also has a usb port, so you can charge your phone and battery at the same time. 11 dollars for 2 batteries and a charger is hard to beat. I hope I helped!

I got those same exact batteries and charger that came with my Amaze. They say they're 1800mAh but last the same as OEM (they also look thinner and lighter). I no longer use them because they never give accurate percentage readings and sometimes it shows a red battery icon with an exclamation mark, also the charger only charges to about 80%. I recently got an Anker for my brother's Glacier and it outlasts his OEM battery

All Li-Ion and Li-Po have a max of 4.25 volts before overcharging protection kicks on and a minimum 2.5 Volts before an under voltage protection kicks on. You can try this out on a fully charged battery or a drained battery. This voltage will fluctuate between charging points.
Makes me kinda wonder if those Gold batteries protections kick out at 2.5 but can handle a bit less since the protection is on board the battery.

As I said, if you look at the OEM battery, it says 3.8, whereas all the replacements say 3.7. That was my only point.
