You should ask that (or at least bring up the matter) here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1301121.
Rom development is kicking off nicely for the Cliq 2. CM7 is ported nicely to the phone, and works perfectly fine. Probably better off then most other phones.
Why there isn't a section for it, I don't know. You already have to option to install Leaked Gingerbread or CM7. From what I've heard, MIUI is on it's way.

Hi guys,
A buddy is offering me his atrix 4G unlocked from Korea with Carrier (Anycall) branding. I just wanna know if everything available on the forums can be used on this version? Unlocking the bootloader and getting root should not be a problem but it's the custom roms and themes that I am worried about. I don't wanna end up buying something running only stock lol!
Why are all roms on the atrix only P-Roms?
How would you guys rate the roms for the atrix compared to other phones? Are they full featured? bug free? Stable?
THANKS
because the bootloader isn't unlocked?
check out the dev forums they just got 2nd init working but no roms have been created for it.
The P-roms are fine and stable since they are just P-roms.
I would check out sevens vguide to flashing deodexing and theming. If your firmware is supported there follow the instructions and you'll be gingerblured in no time
sent from my rooted,
and chillin, canadian Motorola Atrix
I might be able to get the At&t version so there should be no limitations to what I can install right?
How is your overall experience with the atrix? Im using a Nexus S right now and it is really really fast.
nexus s? nice. right now you might some things faster with the NS since you are on gingerbread and possibly using a custom rom? with that said the atrix is pretty damn fast as well. contemplated the S but wasn't enough of a spec upgrade over the N1. would love to hear your comparisons between the two.
Since the One-Click Root utility was released a few weeks back doea anyone know if CyanogenMod7 is going to be ported to the Droid X2? I use it on my Nook Color and am hoping I can one day install it onto my X2 too.
I think it will eventually, I think it's just a matter of the devs getting their hands on an X2 to get it going.
I just read in another thread on this forum that it is being worked on but the dev is stuck w/some issues and seems to be going it alone mostly. I'll be patient because I know it'll be worth the wait. I'm brand new to Android (came from a Blackberry Storm 9530) and love everything so far. My first taste of CM7 came on my Nook Color and it runs great so I ca onl imagine how great it will be on the DX2 if the dev can get it working.
hello everyone. I hope to get the X2 soon. I see that their isnt much for this phone so far but i was wondering how far people have come along with unlocking the bootloader and making custom roms before i actually do get the phone. Either way its a kickass phone but i might get the bionic because it has 4g. i dont really care about facetime but 4g would be nice. One thing i have noticed is that my friends X2 is scoring 2343 on quadrant standard compared to my dads bionic who is scoring 2168, kinda wierd. but anyways hope i do get this phone and can help contribute to the developing side of things!

roms
i think sand pretty much nailed it.... eclipse has been getting the most attention from it's developer though and is ahead of the curve as far as the workability of the rom goes. i liked atrix just fine, but it has more blur on it, and clocked quite a bit slower on my x2. the eclipse developer has even created 2 versions of eclipse. one with most of the blur removed and one that still contains a touch. hope this helps.
Hey!
So, i can buy an used At&t Atrix to replace my Droid2, at a VERY cheap price.
My question is simple: Is it worth it?
And, about the roms... I have seen that Atrix Development is not as advanced as the development on Droid2, where we have Cm7 and MIUI.
Is there any reason to this? Because the Bootloader of Atrix can be unlocked, so development should be easier... Or there is something that im missing?
Thanks in advance!

Development is moving on the atrix CM7 is well into beta but is very stable and works wonderfuly, there is also an increasing list of other roms available
the atrix is a beast of a phone and is definitally worth the upgrade
that being said there will probably be many phones released in the near future that are just as good if not better than the
personallhy i have no complaints
I have been around the block the past few months, trying every phone i can,, inspire, atrix, infuse, lg thrill, dell streak, even iphone4, lol
Im going to stick it out on the atrix, I like the form factor, screen size and res,, not to mention its a beast of a phone once you get the fine tuning done,, currently have a 32 gb card, with a seidio 3200 Mah ext battery, and seidio holster,, and oc'd at 1.3g.....
Im back and forth between cm7 and alien.. either one rocks,, I say go for it, but as with anything its all bout what you like,, etc..
I'll buy it then

Smart choice. I am holding onto my Atrix for another year at least. Hope ICS comes soon.
It's all in the title ?
I have the opportunity to buy today an Atrix at around 250 €. For that, I'll sell my HD2 and would like to know if its a smart move "Custom Roms" wise ?
I know nothing about the Atrix but my prioritiy is to be able to run stock CM7 (I've seen roms on the Dev section) and later, CM9.
Is MIUI available ?
Is the community very much alive or dying as the Atrix is coming out ?
Thanks !

Miui is in alpha, cm7 completely stable and cm9 is being worked on. There are quite a few blur based ROMS to choose from as well. I'm definitely not disappointed with my atrix
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
development seems to have to have taken off in the last month or two and definitely try some blur based roms. you will b surprised how well people have tweaked them
Great. I think I'll try then even though I know it won't reach the level of development of the HD2. I need a break from xda anyway...
