Search is your friend.
I found the following thread => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1265674
In second post, you will find a user called "veyka", who has got a link to 4shared in his signature. There you can find a CWM Manager apk.
But you should remember, that the CWM Manager app will only work in compatible kernels. Maybe some feature of the app will work in other kernels, but some won't.
So, I recommend to flash a CF-Root kernel from Chainfire's thread.
Then you can do whatever you want to do with CWM Manager and afterwards you can flash back the kernel you want to run on.
Good luck !

Hmm, I have a GT-I9100.
You said that yours is a GT-I9100G.
So, that's a difference.
Not every ROM and kernel for the I9100 will work on your device.
You have to search explicitly for your phone type "I9100G" and will find some interesting threads.
For example:
List of insecure kernels to be used for rooting => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1101671
A custom kernel with CWM5 => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1327509
A similar problem report thread for I9100G => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1276105
So, take your time and search.
Maybe you can find a solution to fix your problem by yourself.
Good luck !

[KERNEL] GT-I9100 ROOTED STOCK Kernels by STOCK+ Team (ALL NEW VERSIONS + TOUCH CWM!)

Hello everyone,
STOCK+ Team ($omator & Grooby) are proud to bring you the latest rooted kernels based on samsung stock kernels that you may find in ROM by Samsung.
Why should i use this kernel?
Our kernels are uber-minimal modification of stock kernel used only for rooting (no custom recovery is installed). So the kernel it's like stock just rooted, and there is small chance (or any chance) that it will be detected as modified by service center at the first look
Please find latest of kernels listed below:
ROOTED! I9100XXLPH - ICS (4.0.3) - CL: 1104396 - B.Date: 16-02-2012 -[/b] Touch CWM Recovery Download HERE!
ROOTED! I9100XXLPB - ICS (4.0.3) - CL: 99600 - B.Date: 29-01-2012 - Samsung Recovery Download HERE! or Touch CWM Recovery Download HERE!
Instructions:
1. Flash zImage.tar of choosen kernel using odin (you will find it in package)
2. enable usb debugging in settings->applications
3. while still connected and odin/kies is turned off, run RUNME.BAT (also in package)
4. Install latest Superuser.apk from market!
5. Profit!

Can we get a CWM flashable zip of the touch based version?
Sorry for my stupid question but is this only for ICS? I'm little confused, or can we use this for stock to?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy SII using Tapatalk
Its for ICS as stated in first post if you want to request any other kernel let me know in this thread.
Also, for now we provide only ODIN images, which is most suitable for people with or without CWM already installed.
Thanks!
(ODIN is in the package.)
I havent used odin in a whille. Could someone please refresh my memory, which do I flash this under, pda, phone or csc? I obviously know this isn't bootloader

Like i thought, I got confused.by the stock if you could do a kernel for stock ROM with touch recovery it would be awesome.
You just got Samsunged from Tapatalk
Do we need to execute runme.bat if the phone is already rooted and has su installed?
First of all its a stock rom (dont mix it with team name which is STOCKPLUS) + the touch CWM added (su will install automatically) so just flash with ODIN as PDA and enjoy samsung rom with good recovery and root
secondly, if you got a su installed then you dont need to run runme.bat, just install superuser from market or from package shipped with kernel (adb install Superuser.apk)
Enjoy!

GT-I9100 - CWM Recovery won't install

Hey,
I've successfully rooted my SII and installed ROM Manager, but as I try to flash CWM Recovery and select GT-I9100 the install doesn't commence and I'm left with a message saying 'An error occurred while downloading your recovery'. Any solutions to fix this or flash CWM in a different way so I can install CM9?
Thanks for any help

I used S2 root to root my phone.
My kernel is I9100XWLP3 (3.0.15-I9100XWLP3-CL287862

Dialling *#1234# brings up
"PDA : I9100XWLP7

Also, if we manage to fix this, how should I go about installing CM9 (if ROM Manager isn't fully compatible)?
Thanks

Did you even bother reading the topic you replied to?
Rom Manager from market is not properley compatible with our devices, no matter what the manager says or if you see SGS2 in the list. Uninstall it and only use the "CWM" app that is installed by kernel or reboot into recovery.

It doesnt matter, you have no reason to have latest, they are just updates to support more devices.
Just flash custom kernel, like latest Siyah, the kernels contain CWM.

I assume you are talking about PhilZ recovery........
If all you want is a custom recovery on a stock firmware then you have to match the recovery to the firmware build......
And you *do* realise that the leak/test firmware is not as stable as release firmwares don't you?

Clockworkmod Recovery 6.0.1.0 download

Hi, I'm trying to flash the latest version (6.0.1.0) of the ClockworkMod recovery onto my GT-I9100 but I cant downland the required zip file.
The ROM Manager app gives me a download failed message, and the link on the website does not work, I suspect the app just uses the same download. I would post the link but the site wont let me as it's my first post.
Can anyone help. Is there an alternative download link I can use. I notice the links for 6.0.1.0 for other phone models seem to work but I'm not sure about using them on mine.
Cheers

In samsung phones the recovery isn't separate. It's bundled along with the kernel
To use CWM6 flash a kernel which uses CWM6 like latest Siyah.
Don't use ROM Manager on GSII to flash recoveries.

After doing everything will my beauty lost it`s rooted feature ? If so, then what should I do to root it again ? Is it the same before ? But the only difference is then it was ICS and now this will be GB (as I download the GB stock rom).
Now it will be :

2.3.3
Baseband Version
I9100DDKE4
KERNEL VERSION
2.6.35.7 - I9100XWKF3 - CL276555 [email protected] #2

Would you be kindly enough to guide me to root it again, so that after rooting I will be able to flash an ICS AOKP custom rom ?

Yes, you will lose root access.
You can download CF-ROOT kernel XWKF3 here: download.chainfire.eu/24/CF-Root/SGS2/CF-Root-SGS2_XW_CLK_KF3-v4.0-CWM4.zip
You need to first flash a stock based ICS ROM (at least), before flashing any AOKP based Rom

Many, many thanks Sir,
for your most valuable advice, which you have given from the very beginning.
One thing, by using "Check Fus Downloader 2.1 (by respected luffar joh), I have got a firmware for my region.
The details of the firmware is :
Product Code: GT-I9100LKAINU
Latest firmware: I9100XWLP7/I9100ODDLP9/I9100DDLPA/I9100XWLP7
Modified: 4/5/2012 6:15:29 PM
Filename: GT-I9100_INU_1_20120405181515_xrqgd7x460.zip.enc2.
Sir, Should I flash This One First ?
How do I install CWM v.6 (as I have read that it is much better than v.4 or v.5) after flashing the ICS AOKP ?
Please Help
Thank you all for helping me a lot.
Now I just want to know that after flashing GB 2.3.3 ( KERNEL VERSION
2.6.35.7 - I9100XWKF3 - CL276555 [email protected] #2) Why I can not root my device ?
Whenever I try to root it, after flashing the Kernel (CF-Root-SGS2_XW_CLK_KF3-v4.0-CWM4), it always says:
Checking Device Connection...
Device Connected!
Restarting ADB Server...
Checking ROOT Access...
Superuser Request Has Been DENIED! Aborting...
Why it is happening and how to solve it ?

Thanks for your reply.
I just want to share something with you.
I have read somewhere in this forum that never do a factory reset with the stock rom (because of it`s kernel). First anyone have to change the kernel of the stock rom with siyah or dorimanx or darknight and then do anything you want.
According to that I have just tried to do that, but don`t know why I cann`t. Whenever I try to do that it always says "no signature validation",or something like that. I use CWM v.4.
Do I change the CWM to v.5 or v.6 by flashing ? I just don`t want to use CWM v.4.
BTW, now I am in :
Android Version
2.3.3
Baseband Version
I9100DDKE4
KERNEL VERSION
2.6.35.7 - I9100XWKF3 - CL276555 [email protected] #2
BUILD NUMBER
GINGERBREAD XWKF3
It` rooted. Do I flash any ICS rom in it ? If so, please help me to do that.
Please guide me.

You are reading it WRONG!
What you read is only applicable to stock ICS 4.0.4 firmware. Nothing more!
Therefore in your case it is not applicable.
Those kernels you listed are ICS kernels, if you flash them on your phone, your device simply won't boot.
2. The reason why you couldn't flash those kernels is because they required minimum of CWM version 5.
3. You can change it by simply flashing Siyah kernel meant for gingerbread which comes with CWM version 5.
Like i said earlier, don't flash ICS kernel on Gingerbread, except an expert advise you on something.
4. If you want to flash an ICS ROM, it's very simple.
- First, you need to download Siyah kernel (for GT I9100, zip version) for gingerbread here : www.gokhanmoral.com/gm/2012/01/13/siyahkernel-v2-6-7/
- Flash the Siyah kernel via CWM recovery
- Download any stock based ICS ROM of your choice. When you are done, let me know.

Many, many thanks Sir, for your most valuable advice.
At first I`m really very sorry for my mistake.
I have just downloaded the recommended kernel (with link).
And I have downloaded three stock/stock based based ICS roms.
1. XWLPG.SalmanRom_v4
2. Omega_ICS_v15_Black_Blue_XWLPG
3. by using "Check Fus Downloader 2.1 (by respected luffar joh), I have got a firmware for my region.
The details of the firmware is :
Product Code: GT-I9100LKAINU
Latest firmware: I9100XWLP7/I9100ODDLP9/I9100DDLPA/I9100XWLP7
Modified: 4/5/2012 6:15:29 PM
Filename: GT-I9100_INU_1_20120405181515_xrqgd7x460.zip.enc2.

1. People who ask questions hardly make mistakes. This is the reason why you haven't yet made any mistake.
2. The third ICS firmware you posted can only be flashed via Odin. I'll say, just keep it somewhere. You won't need it for now.
3. Have you flashed the Siyah kernel yet?
If yes, please post your present and kernel details

Install cmw recovery using ODIN

Hi,
I have a ATT Samsung Galaxy S2 with 4.0.4((recently updated). I used Exynos Abuse to root my phone. I would like to install cmw recovery and try a custom rom.
I tried to follow the instruction on cyanogen mod but didn't help me much. i installed heimdall but the clockwork mod package doesn't have a zimage. so when i try the command heimdall install --kernal zimage, it says zimage cannot be found!
Is there any other way I can install CMW ? using ODIN ?

Have you tried Mobile Odin. You install it on your phone. I believe it has the capability to flash zipped files as well as tar files.
I'm not familiar with Cyanogen Mod, but you could/should use a kernel compatible with stock 4.0.4 in case you try to boot the phone after installing it. So I would suggest using Siyah. Download the CWM flashable zip package, open it with an archiving program, and extract the zimage. Then use that with either Heimdall or Mobile Odin.

As Ninja says, on the I777 ClockworkMod Recovery is "baked" into the kernel. If you try to install CWM separately, it will almost certainly brick your phone. It seems that in some cases, it is a true brick.

I currently have the stock 4.0.4 on my phn. I rooted my phone. Which kernel should I use ? Siyah kernel or Entropy ? Can you also provide me a link if possible for the kernel . Thx.

Use the most current Siyah. There is no Entropy kernel for ICS. Find the Siyah thread in the original development section of this forum.
If you continue to have issues, remember that before asking, you should try searching and reading for a few hours. Or as long as it takes. There is a sticky clearly stating not to use ROM manager, as it doesn't work properly with our phone. As well as many other helpful tips and instructions. Good luck

I have the same situation with ATT stock 4.0.4.
Just to help you out. This is what you need to do and use (already suggested by almost everyone here that responded). I am just pointing you tto the right location.
NOTE: Read all the instruction and make sure that you understand before you start.
1. Download and install Mobile Odin Lite from this thread. Or you can buy Mobile Odin Pro from the Play Store. (your choice)
2. Download [KERNEL] Siyah - JELLYBEAN - ICS [v4.3.3] "One kernel to rule them all!" put it in the root of your SD and flash it using Mobile Odin. If you use Mobile Odin Lite you will have to extract the file.
As also stated by Phalanx7621, "you should try searching and reading for a few hours." You should do that before you start. I took almost a week reading and looking at other posts before I even got the courage to flash this kernel.
