I've been waiting for a good deal to come along to upgrade the household Erii, and bit on this earlier today. I did have to renew my contract for both lines on my family plan, but got 2 for $100. Even got to keep my grandfathered corporate discount & unlimited data. Truly a good deal.

I got mine on Oct 16 for $259.99 with $50 rebate (yet to be received). Tomorrow only sale at TMO for all their phones. Amaze $199.99 - $150 MIR = $49.99..
"tmonews.com/2011/11/smartphone-tablet-price-breakdown-for-magenta-saturday-sale/" (add the hypertext transfer protocol colon slash slash dub dub dub dot at the beginning -I can't post urls yet!)
Wished you had waited to get yours? I personally don't have regrets for getting it last month - it's a great smartphone.
Hope this helps someone who's been sitting on the fence for a purchase...
I have one already and I paid full price no contract... This is very tempting to get another for the wifey....

This is a deal only with a new contract under the "Value" plan.
You basically put down 199.99 for the phone get 150 MIR
and then pay 20 dollars a month for 20 months.
Bringing the total to 450 for the phone. The deal comes from the MIR.
But like I said, requires new contract under the value plan.
I think it's cheaper to get it through a classic plan but you end up paying more for the length of the contract.
Haven't crunched all the numbers myself, but there you have it.
And I am getting this deal tomorrow.
It is actually a very good deal.
Under a 2 line family plan, this deal with a value plan would save you about $600 over a 2 year period versus the classic plan.
Classic plan
$140 x 24 months
$260 x 2 phones
=$3,880
value plan
$100 x 24 months
$50 x 2 phones
$20 monthly payment per phone x 2 phones x 20 months
= $3,300
But it isn't really a deal for the phone because you're paying 450 for the phone, people might misinterpret and think it's 50 only

Well his math is right. I worked it out myself and you save 290 per line.
So grand total you save 580.
It's a good deal in the long run even if you THINK you pay more for the phone
you pay less in the long run.
Anyway I picked up this deal today, no regrets.
My parents were able to get the Amaze for 199 with the value plan. The phone was 599 and they received a 250 discount with the 150 mail in rebate but they had to sign up on the 59.99 value plan. There are no activation fees or monthly equipment installments. At the end of the day, I think that was the best deal I had seen on the Amaze yet.
I am on month 16 of 24 so I could not take advantage of this but I would have!

Nice find! I didn't know amazon had a wireless thing lol
Amazon has had some amazing deals on phones of late. at one point they had almost every single smartphone except the iPhone for just a penny. of course, this was on a new 2 year, but still some smoking deals to be had.
I just got my Amaze through retentions for around $50 I think. not sure exactly, they said it will be $81 or so out of pocket, including taxes and shipping. this was after a $250 credit. all in all, not bad since I still had 5 months on my existing contract.
Amazon Upgrade
I think one thing I noticed about Amazon Wireless is that the plans that they offer for Tmobile are different than the plans Tmo Stores can offer.
Maybe it's just me but when I go through the checkout process on Amazon they are very limited in their options.

Great Deal! I didn't even consider going through retentions But, then again, I've no complaints with the phone so far.
BrandsMart USA
For those who live in the Miami, FL area you can get your Amaze for only $99.98 with a mail in rebate for $50 so that leaves you with an amaze for only $49.98. This is for new contracts or eligible upgrades on Classic Plans...
I got mine yesterday. Saw the ad online and rushed over to store hoping it was true.
Paid only $106.98 with taxes and got to mail in my rebate to get the $50 back...
Can't beat that with a bat................
I think the value plans are a better value. You don't have to spread the payments over 20 months. Pay it off sooner.

The classic plans are typically $10 to $20 higher than the value plan per month. If the difference is $10 per month, you're paying $250 (approx) more for the same service and $50 for the phone. If you could buy the phone on the value plan for less then $300, you'd be ahead of the game but that's still only a few bucks a month in savings. I think you did pretty well.
They are 20.00 lower per line. None are 10.00 lower. That works out to be 480.00 on a 2 year contract. The deal they had on the 19 works out cheaper than taking the classic plan.

Long, Long time lurker. Been rooted and romed with the eris since ~6/1/10
Background: Upgrading from Eris, I have had the phone for 18 months+. I am eligible an upgrade and for the $50 loyalty discount with Verizon. I have decided to upgrade to an incredible 2.
From Verizon.com Price is $99.99+tax after $50 online discount and $50 loyalty.
From Amazon.com price is $29.99+tax when selecting upgrade to my line and going through the whole setup besides finishing the buying the phone.
EDIT: Best Buy in-store. $0.00 no additional ETF just the Verizon contract.
Is there any reason I shouldn't save $70 and buy through amazon? I don't find anything in the terms and conditions I am worried about. Looking for experience with amazon wireless.
I am still planning on going to a store tonight and see what kind of deal they will quote me.
Edit: In store price was 179.99 after $50 loyalty. I laughed at them, the stores seem to have raised prices for the holidays. They wanted $349.99 for the thunderbolt.
Side note: I hate paying for phones I got the eris towards the "End of it's SALES life" for $109.99 with $100 MIR and it has been a great phone. I am looking for a similar experience with the Inc. 2.
Thanks for the help.
As far as I could remember, pretty much everywher else had the Inc2 for free. Try wirefly, and tigerdirect.
Last week (not sure if they still have it) the Thunderbolt was free at Best Buy.
Checked Best Buy looks like they have the Inc2 for free. They don't seem to require an additional ETF like Amazon. I drive by one on my way home from work i'll report back.
Thanks
I upgrade through Best Buy last night. Phone was free and there was no additional contract to sign or any other requirement. I am not sure how the partnership works between Verizon and Best Buy with the price difference and no additional contract.
I walked out without paying a dollar. I only had to refuse the screen protectors and cases once. It was a weird feeling walking out of the store with merchandise without spending anything.
179.99 for the amaze with a 2 year contract if you order over the web on the tmobile website.
Web offer ends on 2/22. If any devs are looking to buy this phone.

Wow. That is a good deal.

If you are a college student this stacks with any tmobile discount for another 50 bucks off, plus a 10%+ corporate discount on the monthly bill depending on the school.. I go to UNF, and they get a 15% off monthly contract. I know it is legit, I went thru the entire process, but you have to call and talk to a rep- tmo doesn't update the website like they should :/
I still went the route of buying my phone cash and paying $65 a month(taxes included) with the monthly4g no contract plan(I hate contracts!)
Anyways, maybe this would be useful for someone.. for a college student $129 for the amaze and a monthly discount is pretty awesome..
I am impatiently waiting to get my hands on this beast! I have made friends with the store manager at my local Radio Shack. He said that they could match any price, anywhere! At one point, Wirefly had them for $119 but sadly that's gone. Bestbuy has the $199 plus the gift card. I have $200 in hand. Where shall I go?
Went to the Sprint store the other day. Got talking to a rooter sales guy. Sprint has a buy back program. He said $99 for the EVO 3D (I paid ~$55), $55 for my iPhone 3G (not even worth having it's so slow, my 4 year old would rather play with a broken nextel then the working iPhone), plus the $150 for new 2 year upgrade agreement and the $200 istant savings puts me right around $60. Hopefully I can use my preferred members discount to knock off the activation fee.
Walmart for 149.99, that's probably the cheapest place that has the phone in stock right now. If you count the gift card on Best Buy then same deal.
Best buy, $50 gc + 5000($100) rewardzone points with 2yrs agreement of course. Even less if you have a trade in phone.

Thats what I plan to do, but at my BB they told me their running a promo if you trade in an EVO its a $50 card plus value of the phone and I also have the $50 for the phone freedom....So -$50-100, if all goes as they say I'll let you know in the morning
I was considering BB but since the phone is no longer available for pre-order I'd miss out on that $50. I wish I hadn't trusted WireFly so much and just pre-ordered as a backup plan. Now I'm trying to decide if waiting another week is worth paying $100 for it or not.
I haven't seen where you get $50 for activating a new phone and I know the $50 pre-order GC is gone now.. But if that activation one is good I basically pay $150 OOP and get $100 in credit on my RZ account bringing it down to $50 after everything. Not bad..

Isn't that the deal that was available for preorders? I think the OP is referring to what's the best deal now since the phone is technically available in stores as of today. I'm still trying to figure it out myself. And as another thread said you cant combine the best buy reward zone points AND get the $50 gift card. I think walmart $150 sounds like the best no hassle deal as of now.
I'm pretty pissed that I picked up the DINC 4G at a Verizon store on 7/5 for $150 ($50 mail-in rebate) and now see that Let'sTalk has it for $19.99 after DROID20... I believe its worth returning it to the store, paying the $35 restocking fee and buying from Let's Talk. Does anyone know if I'll get the $30 new service activation fee back if I do this? Has anyone had any success with Verizon doing some kind of price match to Let's Talk?
Thanks!

you should get the activation fee back, but id double check w/ verizon first
I tried to do this, they won't do any sort of price matching. I too am a little pissed about it.
At the same time, I'd rather not go through a stressful headache of getting some kind of lemon and going through the headache of the return, ordering online, and waiting another 2 days for a phone. I figure I'll just learn my lesson and not jump the gun so fast on my next anticipated phone.
I just got off the phone with Verizon and they're giving me a $40 billing credit. This doesn't give me the greatest deal but will save me from the hassle of a return and purchase...

how did you guys come up with $40, I also went with the Verizon route, since my dad was getting one too at full price (traded in two Icraps + and inc2) and got the inc4g for like $50.
I was pissed at the guy when he wouldnt add int he $50 mail in rebate as we have a best buy across the street and im like dude i can go save $100 by walking ten feet, and my dad told me to shut up lol.
my dad gave me the $50 rebate up front so I'm happy lol, but I would like to call them and try and get some rebate, **** if I can get aothet $40 back for each phone, I'd be a real happy camper.
Tell them about the letstalk deal and see what they say... My cousin bought this phone the same day it came out and called them asap once I told him I just bought the phone for 20 on Sunday and he got 40 dollars as well as a credit towards his bill
