Hello Everyone,
Has anyone come across a Leather case/pouch big enough for the Amaze that will hold a TPU case and the phone? I have a TPU case but want the TPU to fit in the leather case like my old phone did. I have a case of the dropsies and would rather not keep it in my pocket.

I bought this one, it is a carry over from my HD2. It is a bit large for the Amaze, but I use the inner pocket for two spare batteries. With my Diztronic case, the phone fits quite well.

Hey stevedebi would you mind posting up a picture of this holster that you got, front and back?
I'm trying to see about the clip and/or belt loops.
The amazon link doesn't show the back of the holster.
I don't like wearing it the clip since I have a tendency to break them.
Belt loops work so much better for me.
If could post pictures that would be awesome. Thanks!

Take a look at the URL from the company site. It has lots of views. Actually, I ONLY use belt loop, and this one is great - you slip the clip over the belt and it never comes off. I was hesitant at first, but it is great.
I do use a wider belt, about 1.5 inch; I've never used it with a narrow belt.

The data cable works but you actually lose charge while its plugged in, the pouch is the best part of it and it came with a clip and 2 belt loops on the back for a belt I have the smoky TPU case for the amaze 4g. This is labeled for the ATT infuse 4g. I'll post some pictures of it here in a bit. Hopefully you can get it separate without the crappy extras.

I got it on amazon it was for the infuse 4g, It came with headphones, car charger, wall charger and the carry case I am planning to post pics so you can see the case but I have to have 8 posts before it will let me post external links. It was sold by Bluemall hope that helps. I'm trying to find a way to post 8 posts without breaking any rules atm lol.

it was a little snug at first but now it slides in and out easily no problems at all with it. just had to break it in I think.

I finally received the Luxmo brown case from Amazon. It was 5.54 and free shipping. Other then the Velcro that I can live with the case is fine for the Amaze and TPU case on it. It is about 3mm too wide but the other dimensions are fine.

Glad I could help. And on an extra note I was able to use headphones with the phone in the holster.
All I had to do was push the phone up a little from the bottom until the jack appeared.
This may only work with d3o cases because they add so much bulk.
Another thinner case and the phone might slide down to the bottom regardless.

Well no better time for caseen's first post here on XDA =). opentoe asked me if the discount was okay for XDA members to use in a PM to me over at the other forum (So he didn't post the code above i guess, I'm sure some people are wondering).

In defense of the caseen case product, all the cases linked above are very good for the price! I am always amazed at the quality (and price!) that those dealers can bring in competitive marketplaces like amazon. However, all those cases are made from plastic PU vinyl leatherette material, which has its merits but is significantly less expensive. Our material is genuine leather, and we just released this case to market yesterday night! The case has been in development for over a month, and yes at first glance some design points may be similar to other cases. Rest assured, we do a damn fine job at making sure the fitment is spot on perfect (and I am not knocking the competition, I am sure they have good fitment too). All cases go through a blueprinting, design, and testing process to ensure quality before production. One
Another poster didn't like that the bezel was covered, but this must be the case for a classic stitched design without the use of plastic, and plastic 'shell' type materials. I understand why people do not like bezel surrounds, and we want to make these people happy. We are constantly developing more solutions. I can say that our design team has played around with the idea of shell type cases with more exotic materials like carbon fiber and fiberglass. Hopefully one day we can bring these to market =)
As this is a just released new case product for the Prime, I hope some who had our case for the previous transformer will vouch for the quality of our case. Also I am sure some will vouch for our new prime type as well.

Using metal clamps covered in PU fake leather I'm not a fan of either. I have the Bluerec case. Once I did finally did get my prime "clampped" down I noticed if I wanted to view it at one of the angle I had to UNclamp the bottom again, and this has to be done everytime. While you can adjust the clamps with some tools it just doesn't hold the tablet like I would like it to. This is why I like the style cases where the tablet slides into a protective pocket and then STAYS there. No need to unclamp or remove it. Using the Bluerex case also, the rear backplate is open and susceptible to scratches. Using a Caseen type case it is always covered, hence no scratches. To each his own...I really like to keep my devices/electronics protected the best possible way...and the clamp style case isn't in that direction.
I love the plaid pink one but I am waiting on a moko one to come this week. Wish I had seen this sooner.

This one looks really good. A good deal considering its real leather. THE mono one went up in price at Amazon and is now 25.99. ID rather get this as it has a handstrap also. This will protect the prime better than mono because the bezel covered also. Mono one isn't. So if you had prime in theism case and it fell flat on its face, better chance of surviving vs. Moko one without bezel covered. I'm mean if flap opened on both cases to allow you to see screen. Seriously considering this one now. Are those coupon codes still good? If so, for how long?
Not to sound stupid but what is the bezel? You say these cover up the Bezel and that it's a good thing. Cause if my friend ends up getting the Prime maybe he will buy my Moko and I'll get the pink plaid one. I still want a screen protector and a back clear protector and don't know who to buy from?

Its the surround around the screen.
Thanks I wasn't sure. But now I want this pink case and not my Black Moko one coming tomorrow. I even saw a pink Stylus on Amazon. Never used a stylus with a tablet though and not sure I would need too. But when I do my remote and access my desktop on the tablet that would be good cause I was wanting a blue tooth mini mouse but maybe a stylus will work.
Edit: I just saw on there website free stylus with 20 dollar order wonder if I can get the pink one to match the case. Wonder what the difference is in the skinny pink one and the plaid one that's more expensive. I like the plaid better. Now I wish I hadn't ordered my Moko one. I just called the company and she said I can call back in an hour when there stock person comes in and see if they have a pink stylus and request it with my case. So now I am ordering the pink plaid one I think cause I really like it. She said there the same just the design on the plaid one makes it a little more but the plain pink one says skinny in the description. I hope I like it. My Moko case was 19.99.

I called and a lady on the phone said if it's available and I added a pink one to my cart and it didn't say unavailable. Cause I will buy this case if I can get a pink stylus. I like the plaid one. This case is not hard to slip in or slip out. All you do is unhook the tab inside and you can easily slide the case from near the charger port area.

Thanks for the kind words =). You are definitely correct, this will protect the prime much better in case of a fall on its face situation. Its quite good looking too =).

Opentoe to you actually have the case yet? I just ordered tonight when I got home from work which was a bit ago. I was looking into a mini bluetooth mouse but now I am thinking and hoping this Stylus will work. Only for when I do Splashtop remote and want to access my pc on the tablet it's hard to touch the right spot and I was going to order a bluetooth mouse. But now I am hoping I can get by using the Stylus. Can't wait to get this case? Does it fold back so you can use it? I think someone asked but don't remember if it got answered. Thanks!

Like incase, speck, ect... that cover the back? This would be awesome.
I too yearn for such an accessory.
I searched the TFP Accessory forum using the search function, and this yielded no desirable results.
I've seen people with iPads have nice tight fitting hard cases and I am jealous.
For now I mostly want something that I can use along with my keyboard dock, and something to prevent my TFP's back from scratching on the surface of desks (even the smallest grain of salt will do damage) when I am taking notes.. and hope I do not drop it unless its its the carrying case.

I bought this hard case:
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
Internal dimensions now that I have it in my hand are:
Case: 26.8cm x 19.1cm x 3-4cm
Prime: 26.3cm x 18.1cm x 2cm
As you can see, it's a pretty close fit in theory. Have to wait 5 days before I get my Prime to confirm it's a good fit.

Internal dimensions now that I have it in my hand are:
Case: 26.8cm x 19.1cm x 3-4cm
Prime: 26.3cm x 18.1cm x 2cm
As you can see, it's a pretty close fit in theory. Have to wait 5 days before I get my Prime to confirm it's a good fit.

No, simply put there are no hard cases special designed to perfectly fit the prime. For scratch protection however, I recommend a Skinomi.
Why not just buy a nice leather case where the tablet sits in all the time? Don't even have to expose the outside shell.

I'm not a fan of having an ultra slim, beautifully made device and keeping it in a case all the time.
I like to feel my tablet or phone in my hands and just use a case for transportation purposes.
I know you said you where looking for a hardshell type case, but I found these. They cover the back with a cover for the keyboard as well.

Any updates on AN ULTRA SLIM SHELL HARDCASE that is actually "for sale". I've run across a few in development? Anybody?
If you look for "sikai leather case tf201" on Amazon, the case I'm going to order next week there looks pretty good. I would post a link, but I am too new to the forum.
I'm planning on getting one of these. I live in Okinawa, Japan but will be coming back to the states next week, so I plan on ordering it for when I think I'll get there. It has a leather cover, and a hard plastic back part of the case, and fits with the dock. I have been waiting for some time on a developer in the forum to take his very promising hard case to "beta" or to just plain old buy one off of him, but I am tired of waiting for a good hard case. I think I'm just going to get one of these. I'll post a review once I get this and have a couple days of observation. I'm currently using a cheap,faux leather case which doesn't look bad. However, it offers little protection from falls and is beginning to tear apart.

Update to my zagg review; DO NOT BUY INVISIBLE SHIELD! The back protector just peeled up and got a bunch of dirt under the edge just because I stuck it in a leather phone case that was a little snug! Absolute junk! The adhesive they use is worthless! Maybe it is just bad luck, but I doubt it since it has peeled on the front AND back! I am going to rip this junk off and reinstall some awesome xtreme guard for a 10th the price of overated zagg crap!

Hi Folks! I bought my SGP5.0 back in January and still learning my way around it. Its a neat lil gadget and a good choice over the 7+ I was looking to get. Discovered it at the last minute as Best Buy was selling it as an MP3 player!
While at BB, I too wanted a case to keep it in and scoured the store for something that would apply. They had this Nintendo case which works great!
POWER A Pokemon Zip Case for Nintendo DS Lite
Inside it has 2 elastic bands to keep the game secure. For the 5.0, I cut out the upper band as it's not necessary, as the 5.0 will fit rather snuggly in the case. For me to get it out, I just push from the bottom and it pops out. Thats how snug it is! The other half of the case easily holds up to 2 styli and 3 memory cards.
The down side is it does not have a belt clip, but for day to day it does the trick and the case will protect your 5.0! And it's 10 bucks!
If you need a case to carry everything, then go to Walmart for this slightly larger case:

The front compartment has a nice pocket to hold your 5.0 with a velcro strap, and styli. The back half can hold 12 memory cards, or if you don't need that many, there's room for your usb cord and ac adapter. This case has a handle that you can loop your belt through to keep it at your side. At the store it was in black as well as blue, and cost $15.
I hope all this helps. I too checked online, but did want to spend a lot of money on a case or wait for Samsung to make one.

BTW, try one of those small picture frame stands to hold your 5.0 landscape style for watching videos/movies! You'll have to add those little rubber cushions to keep it from sliding, and you may have to shape the stand to better hold the 50, but it works and can be carried easily as it folds.
I have a Riot Outfitters case.Bought from Best Buy. I like the feel of it, and come with a handy kickstand. Though, it did brush of SOME paint in about 3 months. Still, i would like to see a clear case for the SGP5.0 to see that SEXY back.
Just received my Rearth case with screen protector and now I feel comfortable taking my Galaxy Player everywhere I go. It also looks sexy.

Yea I bought one of those cases for my US player as well back when they first came out. The thing is, there is a small hole on the bottom for an HDMI port which leads me to believe the case is meant for the Korean player. I also noticed that the case is a bit too long because it does not fit over the front speaker all the way. Although I visited their page recently and noticed that it's been fixed, so I may consider repurchasing.
Rearth Ringke SLIM on SGP5.0 or YP-G70
My Samsung Galaxy Player (US version) fits very well in this case. A few of the first batches were shrunken, but now they have solved the problem. It fits snugly and protects it nicely. There are cutouts for the international version for the antenna and the sim card placement (?). Even with the cutouts, it has protected my device from many drops and falls. It's a good millimeter thick beyond the camera and speakers. It's on Amazon right now for about $16 US.

So, after 24 hours with the BEAST I have decided to keep it, Nexus officially up for sale now. All I have to do now is fine a case. I want one that will offer some protection without making the thing even more stupidly large, lol. I have a Rearth Ringke Slim for my Nexus and quite like it, but I was still able to shatter the screen when I dropped it. I do NOT want to shatter this screen, and with it being so big I can see that being relatively easy to do, so for the the Ringke Slim is out as it doesn't have a lip that sticks out that would keep the screen from touching a flat surface. The Case-Mate Barely There does have a lip but a small one, but overall does look nice. The Otter Box commuter looks ok, but would add bulk as would the Seidio Surface, although they both look like they would add minimum bulk for better protection. The Incipio feather SHINE looks nice as well and looks like it should help protect the screen some, but not sure. Anyway, I figured we could start a discussion about cases, what ones are you guys using, what ones can you recommend, what ones would you avoid at all costs etc. Hopefully this will become of use to people.

I like belt holsters to come with a case. seidioonline.com makes the best case in my opinion. Amazon sells them alot cheaper as well. Best buy sells a series called platinum series cases and there the same as the ones seidio makes.

I really like the shell with the kickstand since I gor used to it with the bolt . I dont like gel or silicone cases cause they turn my pockest inside out when removing. Im gonna get the platinum case from best buy and see how I like it though. Had on on the bolt and it was tough.

The 2nd doesn't feel very secure in the holster, it slides out too easily. Fortunately when I preordered the device I also purchased what I thought was a holster from Verizon, but was only the shell.
The Verizon shell fits into the holster and it's snug the way it should be.
So does the first one have a kickstand? And you say you dont like the second one? Also on the second. .do you have to change shells to use the holster?

I have a tpu with kickstand that I got for $2 off amazon its very nice. Today I got a otterbox like case it's a ionic case that I also got from amazon will provide pics later.

They both have kickstands.
I do not like the second one with the shell it comes with. It feels loose and I just remembered the kickstands doesn't snap into place.
If Verizon had the holster for their shell it would be good.
It's fine using the Verizon shell.

Verizon does not have the holster. I called a few stores and they are expecting to get it. That's why I bought the one from my first post.
At the time I posted it, I had forgotten that I was using the shell from Verizon with that holster.
Using the Zenus lettering diary case. Adds bulk, but no longer carry a wallet Since it holds cards and has a pocket for cash. Didn't know until after I got it but you can snap the closure strap to the flip cover backwards, when open, and it works as a stand both in portrait and landscape. Was expensive though

Anybody have any luck with wallet flip cover cases? I have one that I purchased on Amazon but it has a magnet in the back that interferes with the S Pen around the area. I've never used one before this so I'm curious to see what you guys know.

Always seemed to me that the cards would damage the screen.
It's hard to find a decent one, most have magnetic closures which suck.. Spigen did the Valentinus for the note 2 which had a snap closure and was a nice case as well. Hopefully they will remake it for the note 3 in time.

I bought this Cellto Wallet Case when it was $1.99, just got it last night. The screen protector included with it was complete garbage. The quality of the case appears decent but after careful inspection I've decided that it will not hold up very long unless it is used gently. The only thing I place in the billfold is a micro-fiber cloth, no cards... That wouldn't be a good idea without a sufficient screen protector.
If I get one, I want it to be a nice leather finish with no clasp (looks like a woman's purse).

I got the brown version last night, used it today for the first time, it's nice for $14, I did cut out the top of the plastic shell that holds the phone to the case that covers the buttons, I couldn't reliably trigger the volume and power buttons, trimming the plastic worked perfectly to allow reliable access to the buttons.
Am hoping the case ages well, and looks good as it breaks in, it looks great now, supposedly they're made out of lambskin leather.
I like it...I don't mind paying $59 for it. definitely the style that I like, BUT I prefer a black color

Doesn't look like the Tireda cases will hold more than 1 card without preventing the magnetic cover from closing..
I got the Poetic Flipbook off of amazon. Feels nice and has an elastic band to hold it close. Has 3 card slots and room for some loose money or notes or whatever else you may slip in. It was a little over $11 after shipping
