That's a new one. I would give it a few more tires then if that fails head over to B&N and get a replacement.

I had Android 3.2 rooted on my CDMA Tablet. I won the tablet in a contest and I didn't want to pay for the 4G so i bypassed the Activation. Now, I forgot to remove root then wipe, but instead I wiped data (didnt think i would need a backup because so used to not doing so on the droid X), and now I can't get past (Please wait while we set up your tablet.....Please wait while your tablet is getting activated...sorry no network is available please turn off device and reinsert simcard) Am I screwed from this point? I cant get the tablet to be read via Odin.
*Edit*
I got it to read in Odin finally, but anything I flash trying to get back to stock or anything like that is causing me to still get the error of activation.
Did you skip the activation or did you do something else?
Could you describe you steps in a little more detail? You rooted the device and tried to achieve what?

At what point does this error message occur? Immediately after the white "n" logo appears?
yes. after disappearing logo n.
some image with some text appear and quickly changing to THAT message.
i think the first message is something like standart recovery.
any actions with a recovery sd card didnt help.
i find a thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1663836
where someone calling ferryco, posted very similar problem and its solution
-"after removing the sd card and let the tablet reboot i get a error screen saying "please restart your device and try again if you encounter the same issue, please contact customer service..." tried the whole process three times and it's always the same thing please help"
-"thanks for this man I really apreciate it! it appears that the error was the recovery, i flashed cwm on internal and got a recovery bootloop, my tablet was only entering in cmw recovery, the solution was to flash the stock recovery and then everything went just fine no errors and get my NT stock again, thank you again for this excellent tool!"
but he dont answer, and I dont know how he flashe the stock recovery, in what way..
any way of knowing if your 'recovery sd' is a good one ? i'm just saying... you can flash one but if you do not make it bootable... then it won't work.
.
i use EASEUS partition master s/w to check and make sure ( spend no money... )
OP, if you're getting that far, you should be able to boot into an SD ROM to make changes to your actual device. I would try making a CM7 SD ROM then try to boot into it by plugging the device into the AC charge and let it power on.

So I have the same problem..... I do not know exactly how I got to where I am right now. I am using 2GB Micro SD card w/ a working SD_ROOT_NT16or8gbV4_7 installed image. I can get to the "CWM - based recovery v5.0.2.8 " screen....and install the SD_ROOT_NT16or8gbV4_7.zip.....but then I click "reboot system now"....then it restarts and I see the "N" then after it goes to the error screen showing the tablet with an exclamation mark in it saying "please restart your device and try again if you encounter the same issue, please contact customer service"...
PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have tried so many things...i just want a factory restore to the NOOK COLOR TABLET 1.4.3 like it was when I first turned it on...!!!
I have the Lenovo ideapad K1 and have flashed it twice. My third attempt stopped part way through due to a bad image file. Turned the device on and off and haven't been able to access it since. Now I have not animation when powering the device. When I turn on the device the lights come on (2 near the "navigation" button on the front) but that is all. It no longer registers in windows as an APX device either and it says "unknown usb device". The device registered before and I've changed nothing.
So, is it bricked are just playing dead?
UPDATE!! I plugged my pad into the wall charger and then turned it off and on repeatedly. I put it into APX mode while plugged in and saw a flash on the screen instead of the usual soft lighting so I thought, maybe somethings changed. Plugged the pad into the usb port and still now APX. Moved the usb plug to a different location and now I'm in APX . Am able to run NVFlash.bat but getting errors. Will keep trying while looking up info on NVFlash. Still think I'm bricked but will throw everything at it to get it working. Will keep updating this post.
It's working again
I moved the cable to a different usb port, tried installing the stock HC rom first and it partitioned the tab but got stuck sending the recover.img file. So I turned it off again, moved it to a different usb port and tried installing the JB CM9 rom which was the last working rom I had (besides ICS). It worked! When the tablet came back on it had 11% battery left!
I've never appreciated my tablet as much besides the first days I got it. I couldn't really afford a new one right now since I'm recently unemployed so I"m grateful this worked.
My only suggestion with a "bricked" tablet - try try again, try everything, keep you head, walk away and come back, don't give up
Time to go setup my tablet again!
i need help

Hope this will work on my K1 issues:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Ok so I've tried looking through these forums for several months in an attempt to find something that will get my kindle fire HD 7" out of it's boot loop that I put it in while trying to root. Turns out I skipped a step.. Anyways, so far I cant even get it to show up as a drive on my computer. It will show up in the device manager and I bought the factory fastboot cable so it will go to fastboot. However, I've tried using system restore programs such as kindle fire first aide and the SR tool. KFFA has been the most productive in the sense it will attempt to restore my kindle back to factory but fails to download the required files from drop box. It moves past all that saying no error and tells me to reboot my kindle, which then returns to looping at the Kindle icon. I'm seriously stumped here as no help program I've seen has been able to do anything so far. Amazon said the warranty ended a year ago and to buy a new one. Any help would be much appreciated and if you don't mind reply like I'm computer illiterate because this was my first attempt at rooting anything.
Thanks!

We were anyway you are in the wrong forum .
ok, i cant seem to find much about this loop. But am well willing to do whatever to get this fixed. Amazon support was of no help other then to tell me that they'll sell me a refurbished HDX 7 for $150, as my warranty expired last week. Anyway what can i do to get past this problem. I suspect my kids did a software download that failed. The unit reboots, comes up to the desktop and sits for a few seconds then reboots again.
Do i need software, a Cable or what.. I really am looking for all needed help.

Kindle Fire HDX7 is 100% Factory Install, nothing was rooted or unlocked. I am an IT Engineer, just not an android or programming, so i just dont know the lingos........ So the kindle gets past the white and yellow boot logo, and brings up the desktop, sits then reboots. sometimes i can slide the menu down before it reboots.

If I had to guess I'd say you have the latest update from Amazon, and you cannot root, unlock or do anything with it, but that is just my guess.
The only thing i can suggest is to factory reset it. Turn it off, press Volume (+) and Power button to turn it on and proceed with factory reset from there. Be careful because you will lose any files on the tablet...
Good Luck
