[Q] Updating my Andriod 2.1 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have Andriod 2.1 on my Huawei Ascend M860.
I would like to update to Andriod 2.3. Should I first update to 2.2 then 2.3 or could I just go to 2.3?
Also, where could I get the update?

You should be able to go straight to 2.3.3 from 2.2.1

Hi...i have Xperia X10 mini pro which was running Android 2.1 ( official Update ),,,Recently i updated to Android 2.3 ( CyanogenMod ) and its working perfectly but I prefer to install Android 2.1( official Update ) back to my phone. Can anyone please help me out how to get back to Android 2.1. Can it be updated via PC companion.

Yes
DO NOT connect your phone to your pc.
Start PC Companion, choose update
It can't find an update because your phone is not connected
It will offer you a 'repair' option.
Choose that and follow the instructions.
