Word your question so people can actually understand it...
The TB is CDMA, so I don't know what you are trying to do...
This might be the dumbest question ever, just want to make sure. I got the SPRINT HTC EVO 3D from my sister, I live outside the US so I'm using the phone abroad with another company. Is there any way I can get the sprint ICS update?? Thanks in advance.

Cool ROM bro.
So what happens now is that Papa Smurf will chide you with a huge signature about not reading the rules (located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745961) and move this to the proper place.
I'm gonna call the fantastic four to flame u, I'm not in the mood lol

The short answer is no. Sprint has not released their ICS update yet. However, Virgin Mobile (a Sprint subsdiary) has. You can download ROMs based off of that firmware. I hear derpICS is pretty popular.
However, I personally recommend CM9 Devil Toast. I much prefer the CyanogenMod experiance compared to an HTC Sense-based one. But feel free to try out both and find out what works best for you. A word of caution, though: (almost) all the ROMs you will find on this forum are geared towards Sprint. I'd be careful about using them with another carrier.
And finally, this topic you started should really go in the Q&A section.
All of the information above assumes you have a CDMA device. If you're international and your Evo 3D does not have Sprint written right below the front facing camera, it's entirely possible that you have a GSM version, in which case I suggest you check out over here: EVO 3D GSM Android Development.

Yes you can update your 3d when sprint releases it though you are on another carrier .
But just to be safe , make a backup of all your EVO 3d carrier settings, prl etc using CDMA WORKSHOP or QPST . I too took the previous OTA updates and to my knowledge they don't touch your carrier settings .
Make sure you backup MMS settings too..

My only concern is that if the phone is abroad, it will not receive the ota since you are not on Sprint towers (right?).
EDIT: You do get OTAs even if you are out of country. Good to know. Thanks mnomaanw!

thanks for your reply, but i think the razr and the bionic have both been hacked to make GSM work as they possess the wireless capabilities.

I really need to put this in my sig...
All GSM variants of the HTC One are cross compatible.
XDA needs to make a SINGLE HTC One GSM section and be done with the splintered forums
Hi, I was wondering if there are any roms around for the AT&T version of the HTC One Max, or is there bay any chance Verizon being compatible since its gsm? Thank you.

You can checkout Candy7 or any other rom compatible with your device. I believe it is named "T6" for the GSM model.
