Hello, I have a problem with xperia x10, restarts I mean non-stop for 5 times I have restarted the Android 2.3 X10i_3.0.1.G.0.75_GLOBAL 1232-9897 GENERIC-GGL this ... how do you think can solve the problem, let me try 2.2? Thanks in advance

It's not the overclocking that causes it!!!
SE has admitted to that already.
I second you omega. Infact overclocking reduced my reboots. Some tweaking and testing relieved me if reboots

Hi,
recently I flash from the stock SE Xperia X10i ROM with TEAM rom (TH kernel, v3.1).. (this is my first time using custom ROM though ).
Then I add Timescape widget from AppMan...
Add Twitter account... and no problem with that.
Next thing, I add FB account, but does not do anything...
Then I goto AppMan again, add Facebook inside Xperia
Back to Timescape and I can add FB account now..
But after this.... when I click Timescape icon (top right), the Timescap keep FC..
Can any anyone point out, what do I missed here?

just updating this thread ...
milton.bain had been helping me out... but still no luck though....
but I'm going try to using T.E.A.M. v.3.5 beta F..

Another update. After upgrade to v3.5, the problem is gone.

But which MIUI should i install on my x10?
I always find myself missing the stock UI but i prefer MIUI over Cyanogen for aesthetic reasons

I can see many MIUI based ROMS for x10 on XDA. Which one do you guys suggest?
haven try cyanogen , so i choose miui, but sometimes force close rate is much higher than stock...
Have u thought about trying wolfbreak's android 2.3.3 mod? The new v7 is released soon

Try custom roms. Miui comes with huge pressure on ram. Moreover we are android, so why roam with an iphone lookalike?
I advice ThGo2 or TEAM or WB

Cyanogen is much faster than every MIUI.
Now i have DiXperia 3 ROM, wchich has no customization, very few apps, most time 190+ MB RAM, but evrything can be changed by installing light, fast launcher like ADW Pro.

I was on Wolfbreak but now I'm on MluI. (Oodie)
Aesthetics is much better for me. Themes installation is so easy !
The basic look Sony Ericsson does not please me. Cyanogen style even less ..
Only problem with Miui's rom, the ram is used too much ..
I am goin' to try a lite version ^^
FYI miui is based on cyanogenmod...
am using miui cobrato simple to install fast and smooth also have more than 100mb ram free

For SE look fans - Wolf's and Dikey's ROMs (similar),
but if you prefer sweet & nice look you can use m1u1,
I'm on cobrato rom and for me it is very good.

A good miui rom is the one made by cobrato really smooth for locked bootloaders and also unlocked really easy steps and awesome battery life

Oh and if you choose to over clock the phone doesn't heat atleast for me and doesn't drain that much juice

Yep i agree! But it differs from each make. My phone can't stand 1228mhz. Si i keep from 128 to 1190 on smartass v2

Is there any thread that compares the most popular ROMs for x10 at one single place? Can any senior members or users (who have tried multiple ROMs) start such a thread? It can also include a poll for people to vote on their favourites. I guess it can also prove a little helpful for the developers...

No. Comparison is not allowed. When i first joined xda, i started one... Tge mod closed it as it may hurt the devs. Si what we can do is suggest.

Hmm...I think that's very thoughtful of MODs. Nobody wants to hurt the Dev's. They are doing a great service for the community.
Can we instead have a thread with links to all the custom ROMs for our device(X10) at one place. Or does something like this already exists?
Sony Ericsson Xperia ™ ics will be rolling out shortly. Its gonna be for 2011 series of xperia. X10 left out. No issues.
But they are including Sony Ericsson Xperia ™ mini and mini pro even the live Walkman too!!!

Xperia mini,Xperia mini pro,Xperia live with walkman have all the arc hardware inside and they are on gingerbread
only difference between arc and the above three phones is the screen resolution and their screen size
Don't mix xperia x10 mini/pro with xperia mini/pro
they are 10 times different

Hi i came here to say often my x10 gets realy laggy im curently using zdzihu Zmod. CM7 2.3.5 and i use taskiller maybe i should not
If u could help me i would realy appriciate it

I would love to have a ROM that runs a bit faster than the stock 2.3.3 for X10.
My choice could go on a stock ROM that has been cleaned up of all the junk inside and made faster or a custom ROM that has to be really stable though.
It is important for me that all the features on my phone work fine.
What is your suggestion?

wolfbreak.. any ROm is.. supperb.. and.. dixperia all version good too . i m in.. wolfbreak.. v6g now.. awsum and fast one..

There ain't any old roms! Roms just get updated very often depending on bugs, requests, lags and demands.... That's why its "under construction". Its created by Doomlord (you will know this guy in the long run).

I use TEAM Rom very light and stable with some nice tweaks. Best bet is try a few and c which u like (everyone has different tastes)
