Hey guys..."i mean devs"......is it possible to make custom kernels on stock GB on X10 so it can be more smoother on scrolling.....or can you tell me a way to make scrolling much smoother...??........you can't imagine how much i hate this 2.6.29 kernel.....
you can try uncap FPS. after this your x10 will be smoother

Hi everyone
Tonight i updated my fathers x10 from 2.1 to 2.3, i thought that it will be like my arc but its now slower than the 2.1, and i am tired of seeing my father with that phone, he didnt say anything but originally i am made him buy that phone back when it was a very decent phone,n not even one 2 x10! so i want any thing.... Anything that makes x10 superfast just like arc and i want everything to be fully working for him, a good rom with a good theme, i.mean not like a rom for teenagers
I checked CM7 and blue sparks rom my self, blue sparks is very fast and smooth, but i want an answer from you guys

I'm using WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3 | Theme Chooser, xLoud & Bravia by wolfbreak. He has been doing some excellent work! The only prob I have with his rom is that I can't share my internet connection via Ad Hoc wifi. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with his rom
Have you tried Wolfbreak's GB rom? It's pretty fast, reliable and has quite a number of features.

Confirm, Wolfbreak WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3 rom best aviable right now. I think it cant get any better without custom Kernel
Definately WB rom. Now to Version 3.5 as of today! This dude keeps working on it lol. But this version is awesome, very fast, reliable and well I had it for a few hours only but it seems like the battery is well optimized too. Check yancm's post for link. Peace

Just do a quick vote for ROM which you think is most stable and bugless and maybe smoothest. I think that will help new upgraders to choose leading ROM. Thanks.

Minicm7 pro by far the best
GinTonic is the BEST!
less bug, + very stable and faster speed for 2D/3D
Tight fight MiniCM7 Pro and GinTonic.SE are two titans But I think MiniCM7 Pro is better.
for me its the gintonic the best.
used minicm7 before and it was good but when changed to gintonic i tought it worked better for my use.
but they are both pretty good
I have tested only MiniCM7 Pro (with stock kernel) and GinTonic.SE (with ZombiePanic kernel). My feeling is that MiniCM7 Pro was smoother and more responsive to user input than GinTonic.SE and than stock 2.1. I don't play games in the phone, so I can't speak about 2D/3D performance. Also, I had less forced closes and less battery drain with MiniCM7 Pro than with GinTonic.SE.
First of all Hello everybody ..
As u can see , im pretty "new" to the Forum, that means im active a little now and better experienced with flashing etc pp. ..
My question is, is it possible to make the startup of wifi faster like in miui roms, for example 1.9.16?!...
I was on erenz miui and the connection/startup to connect is muuuuuuch faster than stock rom (2.3.3) ..
I just flashed stock rom on my phone, bcs i couldnt install apps from market on my sd and so on ... , but the rom was very smooth
So i just flashed FPS Uncap, and the statusbar widgets .. , its almost as smooth as miui now , and speed is acceptable too, but just this thing with wifi annoys me a little ...
to not get me wrong, i dont need wifi speed increases .. just the connection at first to it
So can anybody help me out?!

Flash feralabs Rom. Its the best Rom I've ever used, the theme is brilliant, and the fact you can play games such as nfs hot pursuit with no lagg is amazing

ya, it may be (perfect), and maybe i will flash that rom soon, but for now imma be usin stock 2.3.3 and will do "experiments" on that,
btw. is the wifi "problem" solved on his (feralabs) rom?!..., is the startup fast like on miui?!

MiniCM7 is good for daily use!

Ginger dx v31 is good n its got layouts from JB. So if u want feel of JB on GB go for ginger dx.. else MINICM7 is great.. the JB n other ROMs works good but there are few glinch. So prefere being of Gingerbread. Happy Modding

There actually is a bug free and smooth JB ROM. It's called SlimROMs+ CM10 Revised3 for Robyn. I am using it right now, it does not freeze or lag too!
