Only the newest DSP Manager with extended equalizer control needs updated libs. With older versions, stock Gingerbread libs work fine.

Thats the problem.
My bad. I forgot to mention i got endless bootloops on mesa 1.9. Dont know why.
So i reccomend Kernel Panic. Which i am using it now. Sorry for not mentioning.

Actually there are no big differences but it works as we can see better contrast and brightness ratios!
There is no Setting in the Display menu but I will work on it soon!
Procedure:
Reboot Phone to Recovery.
Choose 'Install from .zip file'
Navigate to this file.
Install it!

Bravia engine never was and will never be working on ARMv6 devices. Maybe those files of yours change contrast but its still not bravia engine!
These files are just extracted from xperia folder or you modified it?

If we simply extract it from the Xperia devices with Bravia Engine,I don't think it will work. Zdzihu in one of his threads released these files which worked with 2.3.3 roms. I modded it to work on GingerDX which is 2.3.7 ,I believe!

I can't say that it is the real Bravia Engine,did I ? You may be correct,Bravia Engine may not work on ARMv6 devices but this mod will make the contrast and brightness ratios better and you will be able to notice some changes in your pictures. Thus you will get something similar to the Mobile Bravia Engine!!

My Bravia Engine is not having any problems with its files,I have verified it .
You just added those lines to MY Bravia Engine's build.prop. First of all just read my updater scripts and build.prop carefully. I am not replacing the default GingerDX v29 build.prop with this build.prop,I am only adding those lines to the default build.prop.
Your method of adding those lines aren't supported by some custom recoveries now so that's why I made it like this.
Guys my Mobile Bravia Engine works fine and there are people who have proved it!!!

It's not your build.prop! I have download gingerdx v29 and copy build.prop from zip!
Without adding that,you just flash sh*it in your phone!

and just see for yourselves whether there is the lines that you told in the build.prop?

To get a working bravia engine you need 3 thing:
One: the used rom must be contains the java implementation (swiqi service and few other java classes)
Two: the image enchantment profiles (the two file in /etc in this zip)
Three: an app what use it. Only one app exists what use it, the original SemcGallery. This app have another dependencies (drmmanager classes from API level 11 or higher, etc) AND FINALLY: the color conversions routines written in C/C++ (libbmpcnv.so), and compiled with the neon instruction set. (disassembly the binary and you can find several vector processing instructions).
If you check the bravia engine on any 2011 xperia, you can see: the difference is big. Not extreme, but visible. The bigger contrast with any bravia engine mod on x8 is placebo.

hktheme manager - xposed module
U can install cm themes on stock or any rom
(statusbar is different in samsung roms so it doesnt get themed other wise evrything gets themed)

i have installed hktheme manager.. but its not recognizing themes like flattington or flux..
i will be trying x theme engine..

those are cm11 themes that will ONLY install on kitkat.
We will never know bout compatibility when it doesnt even install in the first place.
It will work on CM10.0 - themes
Xtheme engine works with only xthemes so u cant work with anything except that(but it works pretty well but ull have to find the right theme that works with touchwiz)

I am looking to up the sound quality of the S5 a bit more. With android 4.X versions I always ran with ViperFX but since 5.0 Lollipop I can't get it running properly. Any instruction how I could get this to work?
Or are there any other mods to enhance the headphone signal quality of the S5?

I personally use KT kernel which has natively the permissive mode, and have Viper LP working great coupled with poweramp... Also I preferred to remove Music FX that comes up with CM 12 to avoid any possible conflict with Viper

Tried stock kernel with the mode changer but I have also tried KToonz. No luck. Device is rooted. I followed every step above. Just cant get it to run properly

Has your device asked you to grant root rights to V4A right after you chose the quality setup (or right after it says it needs to install the driver) ?
I arrived to make work v4a on xtresolite with ktkernel by disabling sound alive and just install the v4a apk (i dont flash the zip) like a normal app if it can help you

anyone getting stuttering/skips during audio playback? can't determine the cause except that when the screen is on or if I'm using the device, I get perfect playback. once the screen goes off, it's anything goes! HELP!
Worked perfectly when disabling Sound Alive like described earlier with just installing APK instead of flashing Zip.

No need to remove......flash the zip ....and disable the effects in audiofx while using atmos....
suppose i want to remove atmos, is it possible in other ways than a nandroid restore?
Go to /system/apps/As and delete the apk.....!!! It will remove the atmos...though libraries that zip pushed remains there....
If u want to remove it completely check the updater script u will find d paths from where u can delete files manually...
Tried it on RR 5.4.4 & it's working. I disabled audiofx by freezing. It's working with default music player.
But sadly, poweramp doesn't seems to work with the Atmos. Is there anything to be done to make it work in poweramp?
