Hi i would like somebody help me with my questions and how can be acomplished if it can so lets begin.
1-My internet is slow on my x10 mini could be caused by the eclair update?
2-Can i pause the video while recording it like:K58Oi, W600i, W850i, etc and continue recording when i decide to?
3-Is there a video DJ app for androids?
4-On deano`s ROM app2sd comes installed but why i cant see apps on the SD card but folders with app names?
5-Can i make Custom ROMS?
6-^ Its hard?
7-Some flash sites doesnt load very well all i see is blue legos with "?" inside what can i do for fixing this (Note im using skyfire 3.0 for x10mini must be able)
8-Some online videos are laggy even when i let them load for hours how could i fix this?
9-Can the menu be customized i mean like: Erase stuff create folders for grouping items idk by editing menu.xml or changing some stuff (sorry im a noob about this i followed a tutorial for my last cellphone for making it able) Not fake way and actual stuff?
10-I cant upload a video on my cellphone to youtube it says is larger then 1GB wich is not true it just have 100 mb, alspo is there a way to reduce video zize without sacrifying to much quality?

God, so many questions! I'll answer fast:
1. No.
2. I think you mean Play instead of Record. There are a lot of video apps in the market, one must be able to do that at least.
3. What the hell is a video DJ app??? I think you are looking for a video edition app, go to the MARKET!
4. You need to do a ext3 partition, and then apps2sd will work. ext3 and 4 can't be read normally, so can't really see the apps in your sd, but you can find them all in /data/app.
5. Yes, but only based on the official rom.
6. Not that much, but you need experience in android, all kinds of it.
7. skyfire is ****, and flash doesn't really work for our phones... just loads some random videos.
8. You can't. Skyfire is laggy, that's how it works. youtube should work fine.
9. Download Launcher Pro.
10. No idea.

I have just received this tablet and it sucks.
But I paid much money for it and it took a very long time for it to arrive, so I just want to give it a try.
It runs android 2.3.4, but it has no android market. I managed to install the Market APK, but to my surprise, there was no way to add a google account, so I can use the market. Anybody knows how to accomplish this?
Second, I want to root this sucker. I tried SuperOneClick 2.3.3, but when I put the device in debug mode and connect it to the pc, it does not search for drivers, even though I have the android SDK installed. Anybody???]
Plus, if anybody has this device too, please share your experiences and maybe one day we have a developer willing to make a ROM for it.
I also have just received this tablet, I am a bit disappointed too (for the display quality actually), but I am trying to understand what I can make out of it.
I installed some versions of Google Market (and also the GoogleServices) but its seems unable to connect with my account. Will search some more if I can find some way to have it working, this post was just to let you know that there is also somebody else in your situation.
As always, any suggestion/step forward shared is more than welcome.

I have a ROM that is built for the GADMEI T863. It already has Market cooked in as well as some other tweaks.
I shared it on my google account.

Just unpack and copy the four items to the root of the sd card. Turn off the tablet. Hold volume up en power button to begin flashing.

You save my device. My internal sd was corrupted and i've tried a lot of solutions without success. Flashing this rom repair it.

Question, is the wifi on your's slow? My wifi is terrible. I can only get about 1mb/s a second. My router is a Linksys E4200 and my internet is cable 120mb/s.
It is slow with this frimware, the old firmware and the new (official firmware), no matter what.
Please share your thoughts.
My top speed is 1284 kbps with a line with 30mb/s very slow

I found the ROM on facebook. It is a dual device facebook page, because it is also offering roms for the GADMEI T820.

Does anyone see in the 3D mode strange rainbow-like color effects? Is it a low-quality panel or is it my device that has problems?

today all cheap panels 3d glasses-free are low quality with rainbow colors and duplicates.
Best view at 50cm distance with low tilt in the y axis, when you stop to see the rainbow effect is the optimal distance-tilt, best with a solid color foreground in the movie.
I got one 2 weeks ago from BRANDO.
I don't think it's expensive, the 200 $ get exact change to euros, so it's 160 euros with delivery included.
The hardware is Ok, not the best but quite reasonable. And the glasses free display really works with the included video and photo players. The screen is HD-ready resololution and the video works quite well with every format I have tried.
On the bad side: the screen gets scratched easyly just by using it. It comes with very little documentation in chinese and just a few apps installed and some more on the internal SD, included a chinesse market. The construction looks a bit cheap and the plastic back makes sounds when you catsh it.
Still haven't tried to root it, with the Android Market installed surely will get more from it. Does anyone know if there is a chance we could upgrade it to Honeycomb or Icecream?

yes, it has the 3d player. But make a backup of the 3d content (movies and pictures). because, that is not included.
Does anyone know if there is an SDK to activate 3D mode?
LG and HTC have them for their phones. I assumed this device only needed the image to be vertically interlaced, but it appears something needs to switch on for the parallax barrier to activate.

have you put the extracted files on to the internal or external sd card?
It might not make any difference, but i put it on the external sd card.
Be sure to extract the rar file and copy it to the sd card.

First off, thank you all for your part in this oh-so informative community you have built. It has answered many questions I have had in the past. I have created a account in hopes that I can get some help with a recent netbook that I got as a bitrthday gift.. It's a Wolvol 10 in netbook, running Android 4.0.4. I like the system well enough but it doesn't support video playback (i.e. netflix, hulu +, hbo go..). I am not super tech savy, and just recently got my first android phone which introduced me to the world of roots & roms. So, im here looking for direction/advice on how to take full advantage of my machine. In the settings it lists "About my Tablet", so im not sure if I can find a root that will work searching elsewhere, or if I need a custom ROM. I will give any info on the netbook that I can if it helps me in my goal.

I just did some searching for this and unfortunately found absolutely nothing on it. So it doesn't support any video playback? Sorry but I don't see netflix ever working on it without an development community or unless it get's an update for it.

It will play YouTube and most video off sites directly, but with Hulu: it will download the app off playstore. When opened it gives the message "Device not supported [142]. We're sorry, but video playback on this device is not currently supported". On netflix: I can download the app off the playstore but when I open it does nothing. HBO Go: Supprisingly the app works perfectly. I hadn't tried downloading it yet under the assumption that it would be same as netflix. So that's a plus. Still would be nice to make use of my other video services though. Guess I will keep my fingers crossed for either a system update, or app updates. Thanks for looking into it

Hopefully somebody on here can help... My daughter got what i believe is a white WolVol 10.1" netbook that she got from a friend before we moved out of town. Well heres the dilemma, She forgot her password and now we can not get into the netbook. I tried pressing ALT f10 or f8 and nothing pops up except the android symbol. Ive tried to push the reset button on the bottom of the netbook and still nothing ive exhausted all of my options here please help me out so i can help my daughter out...

If this is possible , I might want to start working on it asap, since I will give the gift on Thursday.
Do you folks reckon that is possible?

Just create a poweron.ogg file and put it in /system/etc (ROOT NEEDED)
if that didn't work:
I believe that you can , just find a timer program that works as soon as the mobile boots , here's how:
1-Search on google for a method of adding a startup program , "How to add Startup Programs Android", google is not working for me so sorry.
2-Search on youtube for "Android Developement Tutorial" by "thenewboston" , it is a series of 100 Episodes , when you reach Episode 20 , you'll have known how to create a music file that plays when the app is launched , so in your case , you'll add that music and make it play once the app is booted.
3-Make the App you created above play on startup.
4-You're good to go
Or you can make the music play on shutdown!
