Hi guys a found a very annoying problem when i upgraded my devices (Xperia P) firmware to Android 4.1.2 Build number: 6.2.A.1.00
The problem is that when i play embbeded videos and go full screen there was no control bar anymore. The pause/play and the seek
bar was also removed. Before the update everything worked perfectly then. I have tried using different browsers like chrome dolphin and even
the stock
How to produce issue
1. Go to a site (any site even Youtube!) with a video
2. hit the fullscreen button

I recently bought an xperia mini and the first thing I wanted to do was root the phone and install the cm7 in it. After a few hours trying to understand why my bootloader wasn't working I finally managed to install the drivers thanks to this forum..
Ok new cfirmware installed and all seems to work properly. In fact I am writing this post from it during my triple integration class calculus class.
The only thing that doesn't work is the HD camera. When you start recording. The android makes the "recording " sound. And the screen just freezes. Home button is the only thing still works. A blank video file is created in the gallery.
I really need some help here.. this is my gfs phone and she is gonna kill me if I don't manage to fox it. Thanks.
The only way is to call Sony Ericsson Support..
Hello all, just updated my to ATT/ICS last week and thought this feature was to be included in the 4.0? After searching here for a bit I can't find any info. Wondering is there a way to do this with out rooting the phone or running a different launcher. TIA

that feature is available on Google's version of ICS, which is AOSP, but also in AOKP/CM9, I have AoCP from The Collective Team and I have full screen caller id, if you're running stock , well that's AT&T/Samsung's fault for not adding it to their dialer, you can try this app out and see if you like it, I don't think you need root for it or anything else. good luck

Looked through all the options I can find in CM9 (h0tw1r3, not the official CM9) and can't find anything about it.
I don't have contact pictures for 75% of my contacts, and the ones I do have are seemingly tiny images that look terrible on the Note full screen.

the moment someone woudl sync with google .. there server saves the pics very samll so it woudl look bad for everyoneanyway.. thatfeature has been present on htc devices for a long time and i had a mod on my previous samsung phone rom to allow big pictures full res ,but you woudl have to NOT sync google contacts automaticallly and save them to vcard on your phone so you can reload the full res pictures , this issue has been on going since the first android device go look at google 's error reports youll see tht threads is thousands of pages ppl com:laugh::laugh::laughlaining .

To make a quick overview of my issue, here's some info to start with...
DEVICE ------- Tronsmart Prometheus
OS -------------- Jelly bean 4.1.2
BROWSER -- Dolphin Browser 9.3.0 (with desktop user agent)
ok so basically, here's what i'm experiencing when visiting webpages
(i have an image but i cant link you guys to it as i dont have 10 forum posts)
it seems jelly bean is ignoring pretty much any browser zoom setting i choose.
no matter what, my browser always shows the webpage as if it was zoomed-in...
i've seen some posts about this issue around the net in general but not alot.
its rather annoying since im using this mini android pc as desktop computer..
and i feel its not really enjoyable surfing the web when all pages appear zoomed in...
any of you guys encountering such an issue?
i tried many browsers and they all do that.
it really seems like a jelly bean issue to me,,,
is there a fix for this!!??

Hello, i was making video, where you can see draw program and problem is i can't draw straight lines because it's separating and the same thing happend to menu, while menu listing, programs launching, so it's difficult sometimes to list to last page. In games like fruit ninja, where you need to be fast to cut fruits it's impossible to play, because of this issue. My wife have the same model st15 and the same problem as i have. As far as i Know its quite a common problem did you try installing any custom ROM?(Please don't ask which ROM is best[its against XDA-RULES]) if it works fine on custom ROM's then i think you should stick with custom ROMS and at the same time it can also be a digitizer problem.... since digitizer is hardware periphereal you should be able to replace it with a new one...:angel:

Because the real problem with chrome is that i can't download pdf after make a login is a https page...
Ex:
If i use Firefox the file that i download has 44Kbytes...
Or a Desktop Pc (using chrome) the file has the same size 44Kbytes...
If i download the same file following the same process with chrome in the Z Ultra the file has 37kbytes...
When i try to open with Adobe or other app i get the same answer "corrupted file"
Weird...
I think that i'm not doing anything wrong...

So you're blaming the Sony device for something Chrome, a web browser that's made by Google, can't do or is having issues with? Are you also blaming your computer when Solitaire crashes? This is a Chrome issue, so it's the Chrome team's responsibility. Not Sony or Google HQ, but the Chrome team.
