(A) Init.d scripts on stock rom and kernel - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Could I use init.d scripts from NEO SE.TWEAKED v0.7 rom on stock .42 rom? Will it works or not?
Do i need other files from SE.Tweaked rom instead files from init.d folder only?
The Answer:
Found it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20574274

Stock rom & kernel will not run the script at boot. Try 'script manager' n put the script on ur sd. Make sure u run the script 'as root' & 'at boot'.
Or u can try this script;

What if i use scripts from SE.Tweaked ROM?

First, try to run the script as root. If it give error, don't run the script at boot.
Note: some script in 'init.d' folder in custom rom need other file to work.

If you want init.d scripts on stock ROM you have a install a kernel (I recommend Inteks kernel), that'll give you script support and OC.

use whatever rom, u want. it best if u use it on fresh rom
MESA feature V1.6 onward
"implement new sysinit which only invoke the script in init.d once booting is finish, not like the old implementation which invoke the script while still booting and can give problem to most a2sd script."
thats the ruquirment to run M2SD

How I saied I can't keep developement, I have to work and to study. It's an old work so I don't remember exactly but I saved it like "advanced stock kernel on 184fw"

CM 9(Free Xperia) for locked bootloader.

Hello everybody.
I wanna post modded FXP for locked bootloader.
!Warning: First boot is very, very slow, can take 5-7 minutes.
So have patience.
It is not my rom, and the bootloader patch isn't mine. I just applied the patch on the rom.
Link for ROM: http://fastupload.ro/4058dce688bd93c07fed0ff4b654f941.html (It's FXP 205)
Bugs:
Same as FXP.
Light bar doesn't work.
You tell me.
- Audio skipping in power amp and some other players( First reported by Hubaqu on page 5, also reported by two others) Possible fix: Increase audio buffer in power amp or other players that support increasing the buffer and/or set minimum processor frequency to 400 instead of 200.
If you wanna patch roms that only work on unlocked bootloader use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2134440
Have fun!

NEW : http://fastupload.rol.ro/85b20afd93f8ebb6b65e19bacb354bd5.html V1.1 - Most of junk/bloatware has been removed.
BUGS: Same as FXP
WiFi bug (First time you activate it the system reboots, but then it works)
Led Bar doesn't work
You tell me.

If there are any bugs post them on this thread or P.M me and hopefully they can be fixed.
! Don't forget to flash google apps! (Here's a link http://fastupload.ro/7a289717abaad74a835cb46bffec5143.html , any other google apps zip should work fine)
Instruction for installation:
Things needed:
1. CWM Recovery ( You can find thread on how to install it, you will need your phone to be rooted!)
2. Rooted phone
First, you download zip from first post(any of them), next, you extract the zip, and you will find another zip.
Then, you put that zip on phone(Storage)
Then, you wipe data(Factory reset)
Then, install Zip from SD card as if you would do it on any other rom.
Reboot, and wait for OS to boot up.

[Devs-only][WIP][ThinkTank] Dualbooting on Xperia U

Now It's a pain in the *** to test a rom and we have to restore rom or some sort to get back to our daily rom.
And Sony Xperia S had succeeded,I'll take it as a reference and see if we can work on this.
This is not a placeholder.
Link to the Xperia S thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1880305
I'll be "investigating" this. And I also need all the devs help. (I'm not really an highly skilled developer,so I would really need some help here)
Devs only please. No request for tester or users that asks for ETA. Do not post any reply unrelated to development on this thread.
Keep it only for devs, and make it clean.
Devs,good luck to you guys.
Dual recovery is needed,I'll start by porting TWRP. (I'll focus on this first)
Wow. This is kick ass stuff.
Similar to what was done in G3MOD, except that here its actually dual boot, with the ROMs installed on internal storage, while there it was implemented in a slightly simpler way by packing multiple ramdisks and extracting system.img files when required to switch between ROMs.
Considering our already existing problem of not having of an expandable storage, G3MOD's implementation seems far more appealing.
I will take a look at this soon enough.
Well I didn't store a lot of things on my device, only roms and some other stuff,my internal storage is actually more than enough.
But that method seems to be more friendly on the internal storage,as we have a lot of unused phone memory. (the place where roms are installed to)
I'll look into that too.
Edit : It seems like the G3MOD project is already abandoned. But we can look at their sources at github.
We could make it load from sdcard by pressing a combination of buttons on Sony logo! We need kernel first of all! But also a way to do it.

We're trying to dual boot different rom with different kernel
I don't believe that we can make it load a different kernel! If we could then we could also let permanently locked bootloaders to do so too! We will have to load it from a single kernel!

why is there always have to be made for locked bootloader?
