Only things ive done with my new tab is install sde amd cyanogen bull. Is there an issue with charging? Ive actually watched my a43 drop a few percentages over time while plugged in. Anyone else have this problem?

The issue of not charging over usb for a43 will be resolved in the next release.

Awesome! Thank you for the reply! Though I have noticed that it will charge, but it has to be sleeping, and it takes a long time.

So... I'm on CM7. And I'm noticing my battery takes around 9 hours to fully charge when empty. Is this normal? I don't think so, but then again, I don't remember now much time it tookto charge when the Nook was stock. Any ideas will be appreciated!

Yep, stock cable and charger.
re
if you are using the charging cable and charging your nook off your laptop or computer then its going to be slow.. i dont think it should be 9 hours slow.
My cm7 nook tablet takes about 1-1/2 - 2 hours to charge.

I'd take it back to the store and have them check it out. Or borrow a friend's if that is an option.

Living in Mexico, neither is an option.
I suppose I'll back up and go back to 1.4.1 and see if things are fixed. 1 1/2 - 2 hours is what my iPad takes to charge.. .that's what I was expecting.
I just got my TP 4 days ago and installed all the latest updates. Something I've noticed is that my battery was showing 87% for 2 days straight. I just realized that and when I went to battery stats it was showing ''Battery 87%-Unknown''. Rebooted and my Prime showed me 4% battery. I am charging it now and will keep an eye on it in the next couple of days-I have 14 days to exchange it.
Anyone else having similar issues or any issues with the battery?
Thanks in advance.
Yes! Mine was stuck at 93%! Then it suddenly switched off, probably flat battery. But now its been on charge for 2 odd hours and it still won't switch on! :-(

Hmm. Try soft-resetting it-Ive read somewhere it helps. Hmm, I wonder if it will happen again- that is an odd issue. If it does it again I will exchange it! Other than that I love the tablet!

So my 80 G9 got the dreaded battery dead issue (bug in the android UI made it think it was charging when it wasn't, so it drained and died)
Now I'm stuck. I've got it plugged in and it's doing the pulse 4 times then long blank then pulse 4 times... On the LED, and I'm trying to get it to charge. Any ideas?

That happened to me before.
I left my G9 flat for a good bit and left it charging for a day.
It booted.

My G9 seems to be tatally dead since this morning.
It happened once before that it didn't start up, only flashing LEDs but than it suddenly worked again after some hours being connected to the charger.
But now it's different. I was using my tablet, i think the battery was not empty but the device got unresponsive and I hold power 10 seconds to switch it off and on to reset the device. But it didn't turn on again. Not even flashing LEDs, nothing, just dead, and still dead after some hours charging. I regret having bought a G9, this device is nothing but trouble.
EDIT: OMG, power LED just turned green after having had the charger disconnected half an hour and than reattached it.
Looks promising, will leave it charging an hour before I try to switch it on.
EDIT2: grrr, green LED just means the still dead brick is fully charged
Same here.
Tried everything. Could not get it to charge. I returned it and got a new one.

I've suffered from 2 battery issues.
1) i drained the battery so much it would not turn on even after plugging it in
solution: plug it in for a few minutes/hours/days untill it wants to turn on
2) device would not receive a charge (who knows if this was my fault or archos fault)
solution: hope you have not had your device more than 1 year so you are still under warranty and ship to archos for them to fix
right now i'm waiting for archos to ship me a new device

if i was not under warranty i would be with u on that one. i've heard of ppl getting free upgrades after they ship for repair...might as well take the gamble xD
my device is not charging at all and usb is not working and battery level is 28% any
suggestions?
put the device in warm environment for around 30 minutes and try to charge it. I used my room heater and air conditioner to make it warmer and then it started charging. Thats how G8 devices are getting through this problem. Try it with your G9 hope it works!

Anyone know the lightest (most battery efficient) rom for the s5? I'm using it as a car information system and it seems to always die after 2 days while plugged into my car

I have used DSC all be it only up to 1.4 and Longhorn in the past. I found that although both are stable for most uses using GPS seems to push the limits and I had random reboots with both. Battery life wasn't that great either. I have now gone back to olleh 407 stock with ZEAM launcher and have not had a single reboot and the battery life is much much better. This is just my findings. Also for everyday use there is really nothing to be gained from any of the custom roms that I can see.
Well how do i start this off.... I had average battery life before flashing AOKP. I was on CleanRom V9 at first, I saw that AOKP was finally stable enough for me to consider it. I flashed, had it all set up for a day or 2. Then I experienced this extremely slow charging bug. I read about it on the thread over there. Then I said forget it and went back to CleanRom. Well I restored back to CleanRom and the battery woes continued on to there! And even when I have the phone on the charger, it continues to drain, no matter what I do. Like earlier today, I had my phone charging and I opened it to check my Twitter. Phone stayed at 100% for about an hour ON THE CHARGER. Sat my phone down STILL ON THE CHARGER to take a quick shower, came back and it was sitting on 84%. It dropped 16% in like 30 mins. Does anyone know what could POSSIBLY be causing this weird battery drain? Maybe just a bad battery? Or my charger isn't working right? Oh I have the original OEM charger. Please help!

Reflash clean rom. Wipe everything including internal sd
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
And that will work? I won't need to wipe my SD card would I? Shouldn't have a thing to do with it.... Could I reflash AOKP afterwards?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Try it and let us know. You're having issues. Either way try this clean flash and report your findings or deal with the issues you have. It can't get any worse then it already is unless you somehow manage to brick your phone

I had this issue and for some reason, after a few days, using a new charger worked. I believe the stock charger is just made cheaply. Go to a verizon and ask them to do a battery test with the stock Samsung charger
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Cool. Weird, I used my wife charger for her note and it charged while I was using the phone. But I used my charger, it drained while I used it. Idk. Bad charger maybe.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
UPDATE: It seems as if it may have been the USB cable from the stock Samsung charger. The base itself is performing great but I ended up using a different USB cable in the base. Phone charged up while using EXTENSIVELY. previously it wouldn't charge at all and would drain while on the charger. Im still experiencing a lil extra battery drain but I already have new Hyperion batteries on order from Amazon. Could be a combination of bad cable and failing battery. Will update when batteries arrive.
