I bought a 1980 mAh extended battery for my LG Thrill back in October and have been away since it came in. I am unable to get it to charge at all, no matter what I do. It's too late to return it at this point. Has anybody had similar issues with these batteries? Would an external charger solve the problem?

I bought a 1900 mAh battery from mobilfun.co.uk, appears as an official O2 battery but have had to send 3 back.
The first did not charge at all, either in the cradle or the phone.
The second charged fully in the craddle and lasted 2 hours before going dead. It would not recharge in the craddle or through the usb cable - battery not seen.
The third again seemed to charge OK in the cradle but when put on the phone it immediately caused a hard reset (internal battery at 100%).
The company has changed the battery each time but I'm at a loss to understand why this is happening. Is it a bad batch of batteries or the phone?
There were no instructions with the battery to indicate the need to charge the battery on the phone first instead of the cradle so I used the craddle.
Any adice gratefully appreciated.
Dear,
Can u send me the link? Maybe I can help....
Hi I had the same problem although the last one received is now working. The problem I had with the dud batteries was thta all the settings and data kepr being dumped!
To markspraggins:
so how many times u have changed? is there any problem with the usage time???
The first battery I had was fine. About a month later I bought a battery for another machine and that had to be changed twice. The present battery seems fine - although needs recharging daily
I was looking into purchasing an extended battery down the road, and I've heard rumblings that the ROM must have support for extended batteries. Would there be any trouble with detected charge points after a few charging cycles?
I am using the samsung extended battery and a co-worker of mine just purchased the sedio both of us are on MIUI with no issues and very good battery life. I think I can squeeze 3 days of normal usage out of mine. Biggest issue is retraining battery after installing a new rom, it just won't die.

Over the last 2 weeks i have noticed some serious battery drain while using my phone. I have installed Battery Monitor Widget and that says that my discharging speed is -495mA, Is that something to be worried about?
I am using CM9.1.0 stable.
This came about 3 weeks when i broke my wall charger The wall charger charges my phone but i have caused some damage to the battery/phone when i charged the overnight once. My 'Battery reborn widget? Pro' estimates my 'estimated until empty' is only 23 hours from a full charge which i know doesn't sound bad, but since then it's got worse and worse, If i have my phone on a full charge it estimates 8 hours until empty?
Is my phone faulty?
Since this has happened my phone gets hot around the rear camera area/earpiece area?
I went in to my carrier shop today and showed them, they said they'd replace it if i send it back.
I know how to return to stock, but my contract runs out in July is it worth sending back or can this be fixed.
P.S I have a 2400mAh battery coming from ebay as i think it is the battery.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Hi everyone,
Does anyone tried the Andida 2300 mah battery for vibrant ?
Since this battery is not original, does this battery's durability lasts for 6 months ?
If you experience something bad in this product, pls share it.
thanks

HELP!!!!
I have an LG G3 D855 running Android 5.0 and for about two months now it has been having battery problems. It drains twice as fast as it used to when I first got the phone (August 2016, that battery life was excellent) . I saw that the battery life was deteriorating so I got a new one. However, it didn't help as it drained really fast (it would only last about 3 hours of normal use) and it charged really slowly with the original charging cable. I got another one (genuine) thinking that the specific battery was defective but the problem was still there. I even tried getting a non-genuine battery but it still didn't help. I've factory-reset the phone 2 times now and it still didn't help. If ANYONE can tell me what I can do to fix, it will be appreciated!
