I was looking into purchasing an extended battery down the road, and I've heard rumblings that the ROM must have support for extended batteries. Would there be any trouble with detected charge points after a few charging cycles?
I am using the samsung extended battery and a co-worker of mine just purchased the sedio both of us are on MIUI with no issues and very good battery life. I think I can squeeze 3 days of normal usage out of mine. Biggest issue is retraining battery after installing a new rom, it just won't die.

I just picked up a spare battery and was curious to hear some opinions on what would affect the battstats the most.
Would the stats and battery drain be less accurate if I were to bump charge multiple times a day, or if I swapped out batteries when needed?

What my girlfriend and I have noticed is at the beginning multi battery straight swaps aren't that bad. Over time though the stats get bad and charge life BLOWS GOATS. Also on another note I purchased an extended battery 3600mAh and that thing sucked horse malarkey! To get it to fully charge we had to use an external charger. when u put it on the phone it rocked at 100% for about 30 minutes then dropped to like 15%, then 5%, then sat at 1% for 16-48 hours straight depending how it was charged. The ongoing low battery notification was just too annoying so we tossed it.
Overall a single battery is your best bet but a secondary battery will get you by in a pinch. That's how her an I both roll now and seem to get much better battery life with a single battery.

Anyone use this X-Life battery? It shows to have Samsung OEM grade cell versus other brands and also able to hold high charge cycle. I heard most brands cannot substain a high charge cycle.

I don't know about X-life, but the Q-cell batteries I had bought for my phone didn't hold up. Thankfully I bought it from Amazon so I returned it.
Thanks! Just order one and see how it holds
Some updates on this battery kit.
The battery life on this is as good as the original galaxy note battery. Been running couple charge cycles and the results are similar. This is quite a good deal given the price I pay for 2 batteries + charger = 1 OEM battery
Hello guys
Do you know what is the máximum charge for the bh6x and the bh5x
I wonder if for the bh6x is 4200mV, i'm having a several battery drain and i want to make sure that the battery is in good shape
bh5x is the one that came with my phone and i'm not sure of it's maximum capacity too.
I recently replaced my battery with the same one that came with the phone. Found a relatively cheap OEM on eBay, and I charge it every day (sometimes twice on days with really heavy usage).
IDK the maximum charges, but you can kinda tell when a battery isn't as strong as it once was when it came with the phone.
Then again this is EXACTLY why I want removable batteries on my cell phones and absolutely HATE integrated battery cell phones... (IDC how "cool" the phone looks)

I have both of those and the maximum charge i get on the bh6x is 4200 and the bh5x is 4174
Hope that helps

Thanks. i found out that both charges uo to 4200 but everything depends on the power per hour they can deliver
Thankyou
Hey guys,
I've had my GNote since March 2012 and recently I've had some problems with it. Starting about a week ago, the phone would shut down randomly at any battery percentage and boot back up with NO power (it would say 0 or 1% battery then die again). I've tried switching ROMs (from JellyBean Sandwich to SkeletonKey), but nothing seems to be helping, which makes me think it's a problem with the battery itself. If this happens, I can take the battery out for a couple minutes then put it back in and it will work, but then it will happen all over again. This leads me to believe that it's a problem with maybe the battery heating up? I would appreciate any help with this, thanks!
Sounds like you might want to try a new battery. These batteries don't have a long usage life. 1.5yrs seems to be a common fail point. They are pretty cheap to buy on eBay.
Does your battery get hot quickly?
Does your battery appear to be a little fatter or thicker than normal?

That's kind of what I was thinking. I was going to hold off and tough it out because I'm upgrading to Moto X next week, but I think I'm going to keep this device to use as a music player since it has the SD Card slot.
Definitely gets pretty hot when using, but it kind of always has. Maybe a little quicker now.
Not sure about the battery. Can't be a good judge of it, but maybe it's a little swollen?
Check out my thread on ravpower 2750.....read people's comments and how they like it.... Then buy one

My batteries (the OEM from purchase & an aftermarket) both started to fail at approximately 18 months. The aftermarket had the same symptoms you describe; the OEM just wasn't providing as long a life as I liked. First I tried an oversize extended life battery, but I didn't like the size and the cheap plastic humpback. I then bought two Anker 2700mAh batteries & a charger on eBay for about $30. All is now well again, with great performance and battery life. I selected the Anker batteries because they fit in the Note without the bulk of the extended back that larger batteries require.
One point about the Anker batteries I discovered; they do not work with the Samsung OEM charger due to polarity, you must have the universal type charger such as comes with the Anker batteries in order to charge outboard of the Note. Onboard charging with the OEM USB data/charging cable is not a problem.
Good luck.

Thank you, I actually did just go ahead and purchase a new battery, but it was the 2750mAh Ravpower that Shayne mentioned. Just popped it in last night and it definitely seems like my rebooting problems are gone. Fully charged it and it will receive the true test of battery life today at work.
I just wanted to share this .
If u own a used s5 or just not sure about drain issues .
Consider a new batt.
I got two anker batteries and charger for 28$ and yielding way more batter time then on stock battery which is a yr old.. I went from 100%-96% drain just in deep sleep mode for 9 hrs
Over night off the charger
With 20 hrs left from 6 am onward.I believe it has to do with some of our batteries even if it is a used phone consider a new Battery and charge it 100% and let it drain to 5% to learn it's full span.
I would also buy no other brand then anker if you buy a 3rd party batt.
