Put a little piece of paper behind your battery or a corner of a reward card... Just something to make the battery more secured to the terminals

ok, I give it a try.
you mean the 2 "contactors" (sorry for bad English)?
but when they don't fit exactly, my phone will turn off, isn't?

That means u have a bad battery.... I had the same problem so I took it back to the store and they gave me a new battery
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium

On the opposite side of the microSD card toward the lower half of the phone
Just stick a small enough piece of a card to make a good fit
My phone did this and after this I hardly ever get the exclamation battery ( only happens when it gets extremely overheated now)

I just asked this in another thread. Happened to me the first time last night and again today. I was doing a lot of battery pulls due to some svn problems. The volume +/- and power button wasn't cutting it, had to battery pull to get to recovery. Maybe I bent a contact or something, happened on my old TP2 one time. Otherwise, I may look at a new battery or two.

It should work, as long as you do it before verizon has a chance to deactivate it, which they more than likely will.
Okay thanks

I don't think you'll solve your problems with a charge though, whatever they might be. There's been plenty with that phone that have complained about the same problems the Thunderbolt has.
If you want to solve your problems, go back to a 3g phone until the 2nd generation of 4g phones come out sometime next year.
Thank-you for your opinion

Little dent on the back?

I noticed on the back of my EVO there's a little dimple on the bottom left corner... Anybody else have that little dimple?

I do. Always thought it was from a time when I dropped it or banged it against somethin. Weirddd

One of my buddies said it's part of the manufacturers design... But why would that be there lol? I thought mine was dinged coming out of the box

Ha! Never noticed it... I'm on my 2nd EVO LTE, so I guess it was on the first too...

Yep, I have one as well. Never noticed it under my Diztronics case, but it's clearly a manufacturing thing as it's perfectly circular.

Another screen shot proving Insanely good battery life

This phone has the battery life locked down probably second best to the DROID razor max

You're on pace for 20 hours according to this.
I broke 60 hours with my OG EVO on CM7, and consistently got 40. That said, I'm still happy with this battery life! I just need one day and I'm happy.

It's a big step for HTC and android
Apparently the scepticsicm on sealed battery backfired
The og evo ALWAYS HAD CRAP BATTEEY LIFE. UNLESS ON A EXTENDED BATTEEY.
I'm not sure what alien programmed your og evo, but I found them all to be junk for battery life and I owned least 15
I still say in my opinion the evo lte has the s3 beat in design looks battery life all of it.
It's a very good phone

My best on my OG evo was 3.5 days (battery 0) of normal (light) use.
Tommy's classic and Aggressive Freedom
Thats not even SBC charging. Notice the quick drop off
Allow me... This is stock, no root.

All HTC phone batteries were crap until the s4 processor. If you got that much out of the og evo you werent using it

I remember seeing some screenshots of insanely good battery life on the og evo then finding out the ones who posted the screenshots had extended batteries lol
This is with just over 3 hours of screen on time. My record is 6 hours of screen on after 16 hours, with about 15% of battery left.
Probably the best I've gotten so far after using it all day.

My battery is nor bad when I use the phone to make calls or sms but when I use it for browsing using google chrome or chatting using whatsapp its become very bad it dropped about 20% / hour when I use it for browsing with the screen setting on automatic. I'm still running stock thhough . Any input on how to make it last longer? If I use the phone just to make calls and sms it can last me more than a day.

What I would do is adjust your brightness manually. I work 3rd shift though, so my brightness is pretty much always @ 15%. The screen is what eats up the most battery, so logically using less backlight will lower that.
When I watch movies over netflix I lose about 15-20% an hour. 5 hours of streaming video is pretty good.
Ow okay, thx ill try that. I thought is the data transfer that eats up the battery as the phone get hot when theres data transfers going.
Anyway I want to try to install the mean Rom as most people says it has a battery saver function that supposedly make the battery life a little bit longer.

[Q] Swapping Battery

Since the new HTC One X+ has a larger battery would it be possible to crack the 4G LTE open and replace it with the One X+ battery?
Oh sure. Why not? The evo has an aluminum back that will probably bend right around the larger battery.
Sent from my PC36100 using xda app-developers app
Technically, as long as the specs are the same it should work. But getting it to fit would be a different story. Not to mention the EVO LTE likes to turn off and never come back on with the stock battery. I wouldn't do it, but u can be the guinea pig.
When I say as long as the specs are the same I mean I haven't checked. That entails the connection, voltage drop, and physical size allowing it to fit.

Got a replacement phone! Evo 4G LTE

Sup XDA!
I just got a "new" Sprint HTC Evo 4G LTE on friday. Due to my other Evo dying, my Sprint Insurance covered for a "new" one.
I thought this one was fine..but it lags big time. A few features don't work on the phone,(auto rotate, when texting or watching youtube) Apps sometimes freezes but comes back in a few seconds, the camera lags big time and simply its making me sick.
The funny thing is..I'm getting great reception with this "new" Evo from my last Evo. But it lags so bad..
What should I do?
Should I take it back to Sprint and try to get another replacement or....
Thanks, from Chris

I would try a factory reset first, if it doesn't get better take to the store or contact the insurance company. They have a warranty period.

He hey he, I never said not to root.. LOL.. But I would make sure the phone works 100% stock so you avoid issues when rooting.
