[Q] is there any vannilla 3.2 rom for p7500? - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi friends, i m looking for a vannilla honeycomb for p7500 3g model. I just want to try the pure google experience of honeycomb because somehow i think that touchwiz is not that good. Another thing is i like black menus of vannilla honeycomb over touchwiz's white menus.
And i guess vannilla honecomb is smoother and faster than stock touchwiz. What are your thoughts about this friends?
And guys please let me know if anyone has link to download vannilla honeycomb. Thanks.

Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

AFAIK it is not available

There is no vanilla HC available because the source code hadn't been available for a long time. Now everybody is working on ICS. So I suggest to leave HC out and wait for ICS.

Gingerbread Keyboard

Okay this guy was able to get the gingerbread keyboard on "all" 2.1 and 2.2 devices. I installed it on the non-rooted mytouch 4g on 2.2.1 and it force closes when you try to type on it. If you want to try it here is the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9913510&posted=1#post9913510 if it works on your phone, how did you get it to work?

install cyanogen nightly with nexus s theme from the g2 thread. works just fine.
i second his request.. reading through the other two gb kb threads got me no working .apk for a rooted stock rom..
Just to let you know sense and aosp doesnt get along. even if you do get it working its responsive is slow and its auto corrections are horrible. Galaxy s vibrant is coming out with gingerbread auto corrections. If you really want the gingerbready keyboard flash cyanogen 6.1 nightly. It comes with gingerbread keyboard.

[Q] IceCream Sunday2 WP7 theme

Hey I'm wondering where I can find the WP7 them for the Galaxy Ace running Icecream Sunday? Thanks
I guess what you mean isn't a theme. Instead look for "Launcher 7" on market.
lol there is several apps that clone wp7 and plus this use wp7 theme for cm7
Here is a wp7 theme- http:// forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1219691
Hello, i also have ICSunday2 and I like it how it looks as is but i want to have the black writing in the notification area and on the buttons fixed to white, could anyone guide me to what i need to do for this? I was advised by the developer to get a new theme to fix it, but i don't know which one is similar or how to get a new one for that matter and i don't want to bug him further

which touchwiz ver should I take widgets from for cm9?

First of all I'm a noob so please excuse what may seem like a simple question. I recently rooted and flashed cm9 on my SGS2 I9100G but miss some stock apps. So while looking for said apps I see versions for tw3, tw4, tw4.5, and tw5 (that's the sgs3 nature ux I believe). So which versions do I need? Do the versions correspond to android upgrades or not? If anybody knows which of these has widgets that will work (preferably the latest ones) on my cm9 sgs2 would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
The versions do correspond to the android os. Cm9 is ICS, so unless I'm mistaken, your going to want to pull the widgets from tw5. I'd wait for one other verification of that just to be sure. Hope i helped

Request to Devs...

I don't know how to build a ROM but in recent days there have been releases of parts of the new ROM for the international version that work on our device like the stock/news wallpaper, TW, new Media app etc. Is it possible for someone to package these together as a CWM install?

I just installed the updated Gallery App from it and it's pretty awesome. Touch Wiz is the best...
Assuming they read this, would it be possible for the Devs to port the SGS3's lockscreen to the Note? I know that the AllianceROM for the N7000 got it ported, but nobody else seems to be interested. I'd love to get those app shortcuts included on the Note without having to rely on something like WidgetLocker.

AOSP use this lock screen. Try CM9 or CM10 based ROMs.

We're not sure if we'll be able to Many of the integrated widgets (such as Zooper) only work from ICS and above. We'll have a look at GB support in the future but for now we just don't have the resources. Sorry for the inconvenience.
