Download ICS keyboard - Streak 5 Themes and Apps

Download ICS keyboard apk here: http://www.multiupload.com/91K59610UK
It looks great on the Streak. Works well on 2.2.2 build (SS 1.2), pretty sure will work same way on the stock ROMs. I works good on DSC ROM but only after I rebooted it. The mic works well too, it works faster than the Froyo or GB ones. Check it out and see if you like it.

It works well on Froyo Longhorn.
Sent using Longhorn 1.4.2

Works OK with maxicett 1.3, although i won't be ditching swype for it.

It work well in my Streak Froyo 2.2.4. Great keyboard.

i still pick tumb keyboard over any other keyboard for the streak 5. i think its the most used by all.

Wish swype would open beta again.

i know we cant post links to ripped or hacked versions of swype on xda. but you can find wvga (not hvga!) versions of 2.4.44.10912.t100 which is the latest version and works great.
what android are you on 2.1 or 2.2 from steve, if stock should work
As rumors on streaksmart.com are saying, Swype will be default keyboard on DellĀ“s official 2.2 for the Streak.
I can't wait for Blindtype to come out.

Maybe since google bought them it'll be released in gingerbread?!?
I hope the .apk will be out for it. We are just getting froyo, gingerbread might be a while more for us
I've been using swype and it's brilliant in portrait, not as great in landscape though. I don't think I'm allowed to post a link on this forum but if you Google swype wvga 2.6.47.11856 apk you'll find it
I use slideIt and like it.
Thanks for this tip. Slide It is awesome on my streak. The keys are huge and the swype like features are cool too.
Thanks!

CM6.1.1 Stable themes for G2 appear to work on CM6.1.1 Nightly for Glacier

I am NOT the maker of these themes. I have tested ONLY the Gingerbread theme with CM6.1.1 nightly for MT4G - NO ISSUES!
BE SURE TO DO A BACKUP BEFORE TRYING ONE OF THESE!

Nice work to the developer!
Thanks dude. I'm also using gingerbread too. Works great, no issues also.

Good to know we have a second :-D
backedup and installed the Gingerbread theme. Worked fine, cept my notification font is black, and makes it hard to read. probably going to restore back to before.
You can change the color of the text on cyanogen mod settings
Wonder if someone can port the gingerbread theme to 6.1.2. After that, I'm a happy man til CM7.
the sad part is I knew that. How embarassing.
Anywho, I've flashed both the Gingerbread and Lucid and they're both working, as far as I can tell. Currently on Gingerbread. I'm running CM 6.1.2 RC1, working fine

Gingerbread Keyboard

Okay this guy was able to get the gingerbread keyboard on "all" 2.1 and 2.2 devices. I installed it on the non-rooted mytouch 4g on 2.2.1 and it force closes when you try to type on it. If you want to try it here is the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9913510&posted=1#post9913510 if it works on your phone, how did you get it to work?

install cyanogen nightly with nexus s theme from the g2 thread. works just fine.
i second his request.. reading through the other two gb kb threads got me no working .apk for a rooted stock rom..
Just to let you know sense and aosp doesnt get along. even if you do get it working its responsive is slow and its auto corrections are horrible. Galaxy s vibrant is coming out with gingerbread auto corrections. If you really want the gingerbready keyboard flash cyanogen 6.1 nightly. It comes with gingerbread keyboard.

New X10 owner

I recently acquired an X10a and I quickly upgraded it to 2.1. I'm using LauncherPro and so far, I'm loving the phone except for a couple of issues:
1) No matter what keyboard I use, it's really slow. I'm a fast typist and so far Swype and SwiftKey seem to work a lot more slowly than on my Samsung vibrant.
2) when I receive picture messages, and tap on the picture to view it in Mediascape, nothing happens. The only way I can view the picture is with Astro.
Any suggestions?
Finally, I'd love to upgrade to Froyo. My ideal ROM would be close to stock Froyo that's reliable and gets good battery life, nothing fancy.
Thanks everyone

Installing jit v2 should help the stock rom but if you wanna upgrade I suggest Z's beta 4 if you want vanilla or a lot of people use wolfbreaks if you want a prettier alternative. Note: do not install jit in froyo roms as it is already included and will cause problems if you install it again.

Edit- ok, stock 2.1 is tons better. What's the easiest way back?
Actually, you'll really love it with Wolfbreak's FroYo ROM. Flash it and let it settle a few days and it's hella snappy with awesome battery performance. But the batt performance sadly is only if you can live without timescape, in my expperience. Flashing his ARC Timescape made the phone hela LAGGY and the battery burned off 1% a minute. I deleted all the TS stuff and it went back to awesomness.
Also I personally like sicNside's Lucid theme for WB's ROM, but there's a catch there as well. It'll modify some system apps. Bad thing because itll take away the awesome phonebook/dialer from ARC. I have, however, redone the zip for Wolf's ROM to make it not do that.
That's my $0.02

Awesome ROM i'm using right now is Freex10 Beta 4 (Android 2.2), with the video recorder fixed. The ROM is stable and excellent. Runs really fast.

If you want a really good looking ROM, try the Bitsnacker 2.1 rom. It is basically the stock rom with the bitsnacker blue glow theme.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1005636
If you mean THEMES, check the bitsnacker theme out for the x10 which works on android 2.1 stock and 2.2 Free X10 Beta 4 (for Freex10 ignore first post, check the second half way down the screen)

[Q] Ctrl A/X/C/V does not work

Well not exactly 'ctrl', but really the swype key then a/x/c/v. I'm not sure if it's me, or the rom that I'm using but it's just odd that this awesome feature cannot be used!
When I first got this stock with the Swype pre-installed, this feature doesn't work. So I was guessing maybe the swype is not as up to date. So I've rooted my phone, first tried MIUI rom, installed swype (as it did not have it) from the website and it had the swype + a/x/c/v function. SWEET!
I decided MIUI is not a rom for me but the themes were so pretty, but oh well. I went on and got Batista70 FoxHound Edition 2.2. It also didn't have swype so I installed it from the website. This time, it didn't work (the swype + a/x/c/v). Just wondering what's going on and how I can get this feature as it's so convenient!
Thanks in advance!
Noone but me that's having this problem? Any help would be nice.
