Google Music - HTC Rezound

Curious if anyone has a way to upload music from their phone directly to the Google Music cloud. I don't have a home internet connection as my data with Verizon is unlimited. Suggestions? Thoughts?

Unfortunately it is not possible at this time. I've have researched this before in the past and it has to be uploaded from a computer.

Do you have Google Music? If so, go steal someone's WiFi or go to a coffee shop/etc download the music manager and upload what you want. Otherwise tethering is your only option. Right now they don't offer the ability to do it from the phone.

I don't understand - where did the music on the phone come from? The implication of your post is that you tether your home computer(s) thru the phone because of the unlimited data. If the music is on your computer, the solution is obvious.

Actually no, that was never implied. The music on my phone has came from the various music download apps over the course of the last 3-4 years.

[Q] New Google Music 3.0.336

I just came across this just now. According to Droid Life, there is a new google music apk when the test market was accidently released. I was curious if anyone has gotten sync to work? Possibly using titanium to remove the HTC music app then installing the new google music apk? I'm currently tied up at work and school and unable to test this out.

Look over in the development forum. I posted a copy of the leaks. The music app works without uninstalling anything.
Thanks!

Under Accounts & sync, click Google. You should now have a 'Sync Music' option.
I tried this last night and never really got it to work properly. I have like 10 gigs of music on my phone and it continued to sync all night and through today. I finally chose to shut off the sync option and run with what's on my phone. Not like I'm running out of room with this monster sd card lol. I'll let them get it officially up and running first. I just clicked on the instructions link in the other thread. They're easy to follow, all seemed to go smooth. Dunno. Maybe it does work, and I should have chose to test with just a few songs instead.

Enable Wifi downloads over 3G?

Is there an app or mod to allow Wifi downloads over 3g/4G? I want to get the amazon free app of the day but I'm nowhere near Wifi.
Any and all information is greatly appreciated!

Ummmm
Wat
Did you turn off wifi then try to download? Shouldn't need an app...
You mean the "wifi connection required" message in the amazon app store?
I don't know of a way to bypass that. You would probably need a hacked copy of the Amazon app store. I use my phone as a wifi hotspot for my wife's iPhone when she wants to download a 25MB app.
Or maybe its controlled by the app developer, the same title is free on the Play Store and is marked as wifi download only, and its only 26MB. I want to say I've downloaded bigger than that before on 3G.

Something like Cydia's app? I've been wondering the same.
yeah amazon app store is stupid and requires WIFI to download anything over 20mb's =(. I wish they didn't do this.
On Android market it only "recommends" WIFI but at least it doesn't enforce like amazon/iphone.
I'ved looked for solutions and have yet to find any =(. All in All, amazon appstore fails. Apps are so far out of date most of the time.
There was a 3D game pre-instslled on my Thrill. When you open it and go to play it you got a message that you need to download the rest of the game, about 400MB. They forced wifi as the only option, and the download would cancel (not pause, actually cancel and delete the partial amount you did get) if you turned off the screen. Just one of the many fails to throw at the Thrill.
It would be nice if the Amazon app store just gave you a warning, or an option to enable it. Like the notification options that just changed. It would also be cool if there was a widget you could use to trick the system into thinking your data connection was wifi.

Dropbox for streaming music?

I have a Samsung S3 and for my dropbox 50Gb with it.
So as I'm in the UK and we don't have Google music, spotify costs, I thought can I not upload my own music MP3s to my dropbox and stream? I don't want to download them to my device, just stream?
I am on 3 in UK on the One Plan so have unlimited data so that's not a problem.
Does anyone do this? Do you just use the android dropbox app? I've noticed there is some dropbox player apps any good?
Any help can't believe didn't think of this before?
give a try to this one.. http://goo.gl/e3jhX
seems exactly what you are looking for
and let us know pls!
Didn't work ok on my S3. I just get a message flashing up "preparing music" all the time and have to force close it.
Also it puts a notification at the top permanently. I personally hate it when apps do this.
So next.....
Get google music, theres plenty of free VPN's out there to get into it.
All you have to do is use an american vpn, login to your google music account once.
Then thats it.
Switch back to UK or even use your phone and Google Music now works.
Edit: If you want a hand with this let me know. Always happy to help a fellow XDA'r out
Do as suggested and use a vpn. I did that when I was living in England and haven't had any problems. I'm now in Spain and continue to use it. Works like a charm!

Well, I don't know of a way to do so, and probably there isn't. You can always add your account to the device you want to listen from.

The only issue with that is I have to keep switching between accounts .

You don't have to switch back and forth. For example my lil brother uses my Google account only in the play music app, and on the play store he uses his own Google account(one time setting).

milk radio and bmw I remote apps are missing

Hello
I can't find the milk radio and bmw I remote apps in gear s store
I am from Europe but I have made a USA Samsung account
Anyone can help?
Thanks
I don't know if this will work but it's worth trying. In your settings (on phone) turn on allow mock locations. On the play store download a gps spoof app and set location to USA and see if it will show up then

thanks for the answer but it didnt work
Europeans don't get Milk music, etc
It really doesn't matter if you made US account for Samsung devices. As long you are having European device with European Sim card you can NOT access American app store for Samsung. Unfortunately You just can't work around it as easy as Google PLAY.
I wonder if it would work if the milk apk for the phone and watch were manually installed? I would be clueless on how to do it on the watch
Sent from my SM-N915V using XDA Free mobile app
I have installed milk music in my phone
in the watch isn't possible without accessing the gear store
Also I am not using a SIM card I tether the watch to the phone
Does somebody know if there are tizen apps to download and manually install in the phone?
