Hi everybody. I'm using owain's CM6 final on my mini pro and I'm very content with it, performance wise. I saw that in his thread owain recommends Sysctl Config and so I downloaded it but can't make heads or tails out of the options. So my questions are:
1.Do I need this app with CM6 final ?
2.What is the optimal configuration for this app, performance wise and battery efficiency wise ?
Too be honest bro you prob dont need it. Specially with minicmpro final version as battery performance is pretty great. Nearly as good as stock se fw. If you need more battery go to dinodirect.com and buy the 1500mha bst-38 battery for our phne (if you have the mini pro) as thats nearly twice as big as stock battery. Thatz my opinion anyway. Has any1 tested all the 2.3 roms for best battery life?
From what i saw on the forums, ThGoCm v1.0, Wolfs TW Gingerbread with undervolt.zip and Blue Sparks V061 are the best.

Wolf v6s with doom v5 for unlocked BL is my best rom, and battery life, my phone can life more than a day with heavy use and auto sync enabled.

well m using EW Jet ROM it lasts more than 40 hrs for me on 3G all time wid auto sync and 50% brightness !! i use EWJet Along witk Doomkernel ...

i read in somewhere that stock rom have better battery life unlike CM7
so.... if you can tell me what is the best?? wich in CM7? & wich stock rom based?

For CM7: MIUI GB RC2 & CyanogenMod7.2 RC1 by vo-1 MIRACLE Edition V2
For Stock ROM: Stocklite v6.0 & IMAGINARY ICS V.4
But it all depends on your preference.
I have typhoon cm7 and my battery life is great though I think it mostly depends on running processes

I just found one called Zero Gravity by Xperience Cyanogen. No lag, and the battery is amazing! You can find them on Facebook or on there Custom Concepts Rom blog. Its worth checking out. Oh and I can go 2 days on one charge (3 if you don't use it a ton). For RAM the most that I got is 124mb free (really light rom). All the apps you need to crank the speed out, and no overclock (ram management though).

On the other hand, any rom that isn't in development and is on xda here should do the job. Get CWM 5 and you can install almost anyone you want. There's tons of good ones out there!

If you want battery life then stock is better, would suggest stocklite v7 its pretty fast also.
