I know its early, but has anybody heard if the Prime has a locked boot loader? I know some aspiring testers have already rooted the device, but has anybody taken it farther?

hello, i have upgraded my phone from an xperia x8 to the xperia s, ive done alot of reasearch but cant seem to find what im looking for, is there anyway to unlock the sony xperia s bootloader if it states (no) , or able to root the device and or install any custom roms on it? if i can remember correctly though i may be wrong that with my xperia x8 i didnt need to unlock the bootloader to install custom roms, though i did. i just rooted the device, installed recovery and went from there. my phone is network locked to t-mobile. i cannot get it unlocked as no where near me can unlock it at the moment. any help would be greatly appreciated

well, you should know that finding an unofficial way of unlocking the bootloader takes a huge amount time and work.
i don´t think that the devs will look for an other way to unlock the bootloader while there is an official way.

I have a Asus Memopad ME176CX, I do have it rooted and doing a lot of research. I haven't come up with much luck finding any custom roms or anyway to unlock the bootloader. Can anyone give me a hand? Thanks!
I heard that there was an Amazon devices with locked bootloader and guys managed to flash working CM on top of it(as well as successfully boot it). How is this possible? Why isn't it possible on the LG G4, for example?
