Hello all!! I'm using the latest CheckROM with cf-root kernel... I'd like to know some opinions with this rom and siyah kernel 2.4.1... How is the battery life? Is it stable? What is the bln mod in the kitchen pro app?
Thanks in advance!!!

Err...read the thread?
I am using that combination. The Battery life is good and my phone has been stable so far and also incredibly smooth. The only issue is that the kitchen app doesn't install modifications automatically with clockwork recovery 5 so you would have to flash them manually after downloading them.
BLN is a service that can make your white capacitive buttons light up in various ways to notify you about incoming messages, missed calls etc.

I have CheckROM 4.0 + SiyahKernel 2.4.2: works very good!
Thanks for your answers!
I also use that combo. Yes it is very good. Battery life is the best I have had personally.
Oh, and the kitchen installs the updates properly for me...

Guys, why dont discuss CheckROM in CheckROM Thread?
Do you really need new thread for this conversation?
Lol @ me

Dont mean to bump thread, but I'm also on CheckROM V4 and Siyah kernel.
When i download BLN using kitchen pro, it doesn't seem to work for me. Any help? I've tried downloading BLN from the market as well.
Siyah kernel works great with check ROM. Pretty stable and the battery life is great. But frankly speaking the differences if any are negligible. They are more of placebo. I currently use Siyah for MIUI only for the undervolting and bln support.

Hello everyone, one question. Which MIUI kernel is the most stable and best? As of now I only know 2.
The CM7/MIUI Platypus (which alot of users have been saying is unstable)
and the CM7 Kernel. Which one is better? Thanks.
Platypus works good for me.... cm7 kernel hasn't been updated lately so its probably the more unstable one at the moment

Hi Guys,
At present i am using unNamed rom v1.2.0 due to some problems with my sms message (weird sound) i like to change it to Cognition rom how good is this rom or else which rom is very stable without problem could you guys suggest me. Thanks in advance.
The best way to find out is try them all. How the phone runs is based on your setup. What runs good for me and my setup might not be so peachy for you. I've tried most and prefer UnNamed or MIUI, but that's just me.

Cognition 777 replaced Perception.
Cognition is pretty stable, if that's what you're asking. Just read the comments under each ROM, preferably the recent ones, and see what people are saying about it. Even if a ROM has some instability, developers are quick enough to fix the problem, but yeah, it's a matter of preference.
I think Cognition is one of the best ROMs there is and 100% the best for battery life. All the ROMs really have the same features the only difference is a theme (if the ROM is themed) and an option or two added. This ROM is based off the I9100 (international GS2) and for some reason its has better battery life.
Hi everyone!
I used lots of custom roms and i was following forum. But businness life. I couldnt visit for a long time.
I just want to ask, how is the latest custom roms? Any recomendations? Now i am using a stock rom. I dont know but i want fast, light and stable rom. Maybe oc, maybe flash player.
Lots of custom roms had wireless connection problem in past. Any changes?

+1 Omega, then maybe FAT or vo-1 CMs for the most stable, if you wanna go wild wild west, then definitely try Maclaw's CM9, Lewa, MIUI by TeamCooper and any other you see currently being updated. Lost of action going on here right now.
I would recommend infinity v2 from and omega from for best performance and stability

So,
+2 vote for Omega
+1 vote for Radon Mod
+1 vote for infinity v2
I dont want to do crazy things. Just daily using, internet and gaming thats all
Thank you very much for everybody for the answers, i am going to try them one by one in time. First with Omega i guess
+1 cm7.2 KANG by vo-1
The new omega rom v3 is super fast. It can b overclocked to 902 Mhz and it is stable too. So +2 omega rom v3

Yeah I'm using also this ROM and I must say this is the best stock based ROM. If you would like to use some CM based ROM I would suggest you dixperia or techdevil. Those are also pretty good.

Already flashed the CM7.2.. Super smooth....
It's time to restore the app & data.
Let us know how it goes.

Ya, after trying out those cm ROM, Ya, they are fast, but not fully functional, the main function I lost is tethering out. I have a galaxy tab, with cm in my x10, I cannot tether to my tab.
In addition, the camera from cm ROM sometimes force close.

not truly recommending. try all of them. every kernel has it's own set of special features. some of them are devil kernel, googy max kernel, agni kernel...etc., i use googy and the battery life is too good!
Allright. I'll start testing

I dont have a pot of experience with kernels and if you say googy has an amazing battery life i would love to try it but i cant seem to find a download link or any guides about this rom .
