Nand, the flash memory on which you write your rom is corrupt, possibly permanently damaged.
Bad blocks cannot be written to.
My suggestion, try and get back to windows mobile, if thats not possible, and that wouldn't surpise me, i dunno what you should do, do you have a riff box handy?

The physical bad blocks can not erase used riff jtag box .
NO way! You understand?

Yes i understand, but what if? Has the OP tried? I know what bad blocks are

wait wait, u guys r confusing me.
i saw in the guides that when u get "invalid checksum" at 99% its a regular error when u flash the wp7boot.bin. why should be different for me?

NO, is not regular error at 99%- you have to wait 100 % or to flash agai- but you go to next step, to flash wp7 rom ...

Yes, i think you have a bricked TG01 i am afraid
Unfortunately that is the risk of playing with putting WP7 on your TG01, i should imagine tens of phones have been bricked trying to do this. Its not a safe procedure, and anybody who says otherwise is not telling the truth.

its funny how i have said plenty of times not to try and flash wp7 if you are an unexperienced flasher. but yet people choose to ignore my message then i get pm messages from people telling me to fix there tg01 as they have broke it. ive helped a few people out but i do not have the time to help everyone !! so if you try to flash wp7 and you are not 100% on what you are doing and you are unexperienced etc and you brick your device and come running to me asking to fix your tg01 i will just laugh at you

im wondering how u become so pro without testing....

im no pro sometimes some one has to take a leap of faith i think i was the second or 3rd to flash. i bricked my tg01 several times flashing wp7 because i didnt know any 1 that flashed it that could give me tips. because I risked my tg01 flashing wp7 i can now report back to unexperienced people that, wp7 is too buggy and is not worth the risk

The same experience......
I have the same ERROR!
I guess the NAND is bad.
I tried to use RIFF BOX,but cannot be restored...
I'll find a new method...
That's really a tragedy!

truble in updating to a new rom

Hello guys, i own a stock vodafone TP. I've tried several rom updates however all of them stuck at the beginning where it shows the % bar, it starts and stuck at 0 %.
the latest rom i've tried was "EnergyROM 2.0 40509" i did it through the "EnergyROM Upgrade.exe".
is there anything i'm missing here??
help me please..
if u can extract the *.nbh file (assuming it is inside the EnergyROM Upgrade.exe), then u can try flash using microSD. And u should post in EnergyROM thread.

if i am reading your post correctly, you've never been able to flash a custom rom. If this is the case, have you "hard spl" your phone as yet?
Yes you're right. maybe i mixed up with the whole process of the hard spl even though i had read the guide several times .
First HSPL your phone...
Then Flash the ROM of your choice...
And READ, READ, READ, READ a lot, before...
thanks man!!! i'll try

So i have tried to Hspl my phone using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448008 guide, but no luck.
first i tried to run the RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3.exe but it said that there was an error, then i used the SSPLManual.exe the phone turned black and an icon appeared on my pc's task bar saying there's a new "something" - (can't remember the actual name) found. And that was it.
what should i do next because i saw at the bootloader that the spl remained the same..

leave the phone plugged in when it says installing "something." even if it takes 5 minutes...let it sit until the computer installs the driver.
then run the spl again. this happens to me every now and then. just give it time to install the driver.
you ment to run the RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3.exe from my computer ??
yes...
it needs to install the driver for flashing the device.. on the pc.. when it done the hardwarewizard tell you that it works.. after that start the hardspl prog
thanks, i'll give it a try later on this day 'cause i'm at work now
that would be the best option
i doubt ur systemcommander let you install anything like drivers and tools to withstand his authority lol
LOL i don't think anybody minds what i do on my computer here at work..
then whats the wait ? hehe
mmm the data cable i guess... don't have it here
lmao
oke oke u got me there
(they're like 3 bucks in most local stores (not that im an addict or anything (a)))
not at all )
by the way, i've tried yesterday to do exactly as you told but no luck.
after i used the SSPLManual and pressed the RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3.exe it said " error - there's a problem operating or something like that"

Hell bro it's cool. I am still a n00b myself.
But you really needed to install HardSPL before trying to flash any ROM.
I dunno what to do for you bro.
Nevermind I see you have already asked in this threadhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=323253&page=2
and it seems that ultramag69 has already answered the question.
Sorry bro this is why you should ALWAYS have HardSPL installed before even attempting to flash a ROM.

Lol do you believe that i had 6 PPC and all of them was flashed with new roms, and i NEVER changed the HardSPL with no consequences? I sent the Hermes to a friend. He says that he needs the electronic scheme to do the electronic correction... Do you know where the hell i can find that?

The only thing I can think may be causing your issue is if you have a bad block or twoin your NAND memory and it is not letting it save your your information and thefact that it has went through the set up. I would tell you how to check your blocks bit to be honest I really am not sure how you do it.I know you have to use some kind of softwarecto do it with your computer and have your HD2 connected to your computer. Thanks again for the Help, after installing the new ROM i got far too many errors, but i restarted the phone so many times and things are back to normal, still when i access google maps the phone restarts and cant access the market place cus the update always fails, i also feel there is something wrong with the memory, anyway thanks again

[Q] e10a totally bricked.

Looks like giving the phone to my friend wasn't a brilliant idea after all, I have tried to install some cool stuff and themes and got my phone bricked as soon as I used the update.zip, my friend said he could fix the phone and I actually allowed him to because this phone wasn't so great too, anyway, in some sort of magical way he got my xRecovery erased, while formatting system and everything along.
I just need an answer, is it possible to re-install the xRecovery into a bricked phone?

he formatted system partition??
this is the best to get an absolute bricked device...
you may try flashtool (use 0.2.9.1)
but it you have a really formatted system partition your phone may be bricked for ever...
try to unlock & flash a custom kernel (nAa's kernel has an embedded recovery ) with flashtool and then install a custom rom
if you succeed to flash the kernel, you will be saved from the worst, if not, it will be really difficult (impossible?) to unbrick
hope this will help you to get a working phone

S6 Edge Keeps on Restarting/Crashing

A good day to all!
I have had an issue with my S6 edge (SM-G925F, Philippines Globe Carrier Version) for months now wherein it keeps restarting/crashing. The problem persists so randomly, sometimes multiple times a day or sometimes a day or two without it. I've already tried everything I could find in the internet, such as; deleting the cache in recovery, factory wiping the phone, and flashing the newest firmware i found for it on sammobile. Noting seemed to work. This is my last attempt in fixing the phone before I give up. I hope someone can give me good advice about this.
So nobody knows how to fix this? I don't care if it's a hardware problem i just wanna know

Is the phone currently working?
It sounds like it could be the hardware failing, could be the emmc failing.
The only thing to suggest at this point is to wipe data/cache in recovery and flash a new firmware.
Or try a custom ROM. If it happens on the custom ROM also then it's possibly hardware.

That's EXACTLY what i was thinking although i did not know that was the name of the part. I was just thinking the memory module was maybe defective already. Dang it so the logic board should be replaced right? Because as far as I know the memory is soldered to the board and hard to remove by itself let alone replacing it.
I've already tried the wiping of data/cache and flashed the newest firmware using Odin but the problem still persists.
Also tried the custom ROM and I've tried a lot of them non actually boots to the system. Only flashing the official firmware allows me to boot to the system.
Thank you for the reply I will now just give up on this and just buy a OnePlus 3T.

If it's the emmc then only way to fix is to replace the full motherboard, which isn't cheap.
It's a known problem on note 4. Emmc chip fails and eventually completely packs in.
Which custom Roms did you try? Carhd rom is a good one to try very reliable. Also when flashing a custom ROM it can take 20-30 minutes to boot into the system.

True they are very expensive that's why I'd rather just buy a new phone. I just didn't want to give up such good hardware until I've tried everything.
Oh really? I wonder why that's the case

Yeah it's a shame really. I could be wrong that might not occur on yours. Normally when you get emmc failure, the phone will reboot to download mode and give you an error along the lines of emmc Write fail. And then keep repeating this.
3T is a good choice to go for if that's what you decide

Wouldn't say it was motherboard yet. After you flash your rom you need to boot to recovery and wipe data/cache. This will fix the apps crashing
done,cant boot the system.

Do not pay for it. Chances are if you can't fix it they can't either.
So have you tried flashing stock firmware?
What Android version do you have and what region? What's full model number g925?
Reduce the cpu frequencies to 1200-800mhz for big and little and userspace governor. This the only fix.
ok,so one more thing,on the glass back of the phone sits one imei that is not correct, and on the battery is another, which reports 64g version, while next to that number is printed 32gb and phone actually has 32gb lool
it is supposed to be g925f,but after i installed some custom rom,pc showed it as g925s? i think it is due to rom signing the wrong model number
the last thing i have done was yesterday, and it was flashing firmware through kies again.
and this is what i get :
s6 edge powered by android, followed by blue screen 'installing system update',and then recovery
in the recovery,i get this :
android recovery
samsung/zeroltexx/zerolte
7.0/NRD90M/G925FXXU5EQBG
user/release-keys
*recovery options*
No suppoer SINGLE-SKU
Supported API: 3
dm-verity error...
i realy dont know what else to try,and i am open to all suggestions..i have read that emmc storage is broken so this kind of problems can occur,so maybe service would do that?
thank you,i know this is confusing and boring problem
i tried with odin once more, and it failed at 25% instaing system update, then i restarted it and it got up to 32% and started erasing and it turned off..tf with this phone?? i guess its broken...

Download and flash that firmwsre through odin before you try anything else. Let me know what happens.
I can tell you it's likely not emmc failure. For this you would get random reboots and it would reboot to download mode. There you would have an error emmc_write_error.
wowo thanks,i just gave up on that phone,i will try again,i will report back!
just one question,why vodafone?
oh,and i did have random reboots on android m,but it would reboot to optimizing android and boot
