Is there a key combo to reboot into CWM?
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
hold the "volume down" key when you turning on the phone & rebooting, when you see "fastboot", click it again a few times until you see "Android Recovery", then click on the "volume up" key
Or you can download "Quick Boot" from market
Waa Hoo. Thanks. I appreciate the help.

I can't seem to be able to boot into CWM. I can get to it by Rom Manager, but when I hold VOL UP and press Power it justs boots up. Same with holding Vol up AND down and pressing power. Am I doing something wrong here?
I rooted using this method:

That works, but what if I flash a bad rom, how can I access the recovery?
VolUp + VolDn should work - always works for me.
Specifically:
Hold VolUp + VolDn
Hold Power until the screen turns out
Let go of Power, keep holding VolUp + VolDn until CWM appear

I'm an idiot, I released power too soon everytime, now I get it, thank you all for your patience!
I simply hold both volume buttons along with power until I see the boot log screen appear. Once I see that, I let go of all buttons and I'll get right into CWM.
How do you cold reboot the phone directly into Clockwork recovery? IE not from selecting it from a running rom - like from a battery pull.
The EVO it was something like power and volume up if I remember right.
How do you do this?
Thanks
Jeff

Volume-down and power button (simultaneously) till the screen says fastboot. Then press volume down button until you see Android Recovery. Finally press the volume-up button to select.
Remember:
Volume-down to choose
Volume-up to select
I always get confused a lot!!

Thank XXX
I watched those videos on YouTube, they can up their Zip ROM with power and up combo,
If +vol down, it seems, cant use Zip format ROM.
Try again. Recovery is "Volume Up" + "Volume Down" + "Power" until you get vibration then release "Power".
Just a hunch....did you install recovery correctly on your phone? If your phone was updated to ICS through OTA then you have an extra step in getting recovery to work.
"Volume Down" + "Power" puts you in Download Mode

The download mode, does it use different format ROM
You need more homework if you can't navigate your recovery or Odin ...IMHO
NOT to sound mean ....I'm just trying to prevent a brick situation.
Read up on the note in the super thread ....(general section )....g

Switch off your phone. Than switch it on holding the "Vol-" and the "power" button. Then select recovery.
At the red [!] screen press "Vol+" and the "power" button.
Wait for a blue menu list at the top of the screen. That's the recovery menu.

Try to go to recovery via bootloader mode:
While your devices is powerd off, press "Power" + "Vol. Down" until bootloader screen appears.
While in bootloader mode, press "Vol. Down" and after press "Power" button and after that you are in the screen with a phone and an alert.
Then press "Vol. Up" + "Power" to go in recovery.
Hmm, I've been trying to enter Safe mode to try and resolve a certain issue. I understand you enter that by pressing the volume keys at boot.
However, I got some message called Starting RSD Protocol Support instead. Now, is there any way to safely remove this message?
Take note I can boot up the phone normally without any issues. I'm also running Gingerbread(international).
Thanks!
What is this "safe mode" you speak of?

Thanks for the help but that didn't give me any options to enter Safe mode. Instead, that opens up the Fastboot option.
Still stuck on finding a solution 'cos I kinda need to solve some issue urgently.
Dude, there is no such thing as "safe mode". Learn your terminology.
Also, you entered fastboot because you failed to select the "recovery" option.
