My phone isn't charging properly.And will resetting power management help?

My touch sensor stopped to work. I tried to reboot the Android, but without a pointer I could not select any menu. Holding down the power button did not helped. No reset button, internal batteries...
By removing the microsim card the Android rebooted itself. Also reboots at the SIM insert.
You're risking a short circuit there. To reboot, hold down volume up and the power button for a few seconds.
I have a rooted c8633 and factory reset it yesterday, then battery suddenly dropped from 30% to 0%.
1. After turning it on again, the power button wont work(cant screen on/ off) . But i can still use it to power on or force turn off the phone (power + volume up), so i assume its some software problems but i didnt install any apps i never use before.
2. The battery percentage seems not accurate, sometimes it drops fast but some times its very slow.
Could anyone please help with these problems? Thank you.

When I was doing factory reset on Samsung S3 phone is out of power.
After that when I press the Power On, only by back light and after some time 2-3 sec. turn off agains.
* When you press the Volume Down + Home + Power On displays only start back lights, and again turn off the phone.
* When you press the Volume Up + Home + Power On displays only shows options' => factory or recovery mode "and turn off.
When to press any button , nothing happens, and after 3-4 sec. phone its turn off again.
When I put it on the charger indicates that the battery is charging (logo animation as charging the battery).
What to do the work again?
is there any idea how to start phone again?
Charge your phone for one night then try to reboot. Factory reset just wipe your data partition
Buy some spare batteries for when that happens?

Hello i have a question , I have xperia go st27i when i press power button nothing happend. Power volume up nothing ,power volume down nothing, volume up+down+power nothing, also tried holding volume down and plug cable for flash nothing. Phone is charging when i plug the charger battery symbol is showing that is charging and green light indicator. So when i plug charger first is showing Sony logo and then return to charging symbol and after that display is off i cant wake up with any buttons, perhaps so i thing it was problem with Power button or hardware problem. ? any idea or solution would be appreciated

yes, indeed the power button is broken and as the phone as soon as it looses batery keeps turning itself on and losing power in a constant loop, now got stucked in Android recovery mode with the message Perform "lacking storage booting".
It allows me to go up and down with the keys but I can't connect it to a pc (pc don´t recognizes the phone) and I can't clear cache or reboot because the power button that is the key to select doesn't work.
Any tips, suggestions other than trashing this phone and buy a new one? I would be much appreciated!

If the power button is physically or electrically broken, replace it.
A defective port PCB can do strange things as well.
