How should we answer a question about YOUR actual device?
You need to look that up yourself...
I did try to look it up but dont understand the question. It could be just typo's. Im assuming the answer is yes since its been sold in the usa. I guess I could look up the voltage of a outlet.
So 220 voltage outlets are from your country. That would had been a better answer and a shorter line of text.
I think the point being made is that if you are selling one on ebay you must own one, so why not look at the one you are selling, or read the manual then you'll know the answer to give

Maybe they are selling "box of ASUS TRANSFORMER"
Translation:
Are you including a Chevy Volt with the purchase?
To answer the question, 220v is what many European countries use for their outlets, 110 is what the US uses, the adapter should be able to do both, but will need an adapter for the prongs so they fit in the 220 outlets.
You can look on the adapter itself and it should list the range it works in. Since none of us have the device, its the best we can do.

hi all , been looking at replacing the housin on my streak, only problem is the ones on ebay are all from hong kong usually stuff from there aint as good quality, has anyone here ever had one will it be worth buying?
The streak's manufactured in china, so anything outside that is either itself fake or imported and resold.
Weither or not it's real depends on who's selling, if it's a reputable seller and the description is right is all that matters.
If it's listed as a genuine one and it isnt, ask for a refund/complain to ebay that it's not properly listed.

No they don't ship outside off UK. I already checked that, because that price is indeed cheap.
Although you need pay in pounds and the bank ( credit card ) also wants its share.
get it from Expansys, i think they ship to India
http://www.expansys.com/htc-evo-3d-black-eu-adapter+uk-plug-225592/
shame you can't get someone in UK to order it from ASDA and then ship it over - do you have any english friends that could do that?
Well you have services for that. Buy services, who buy for you and ship it to you. Just search online.
But then it will be more expensive. Mauw I think you shouldn't do that let someone else buy it. If you don't live in UK then you just have bad luck, if you there on vacation then just let it be delivered to your hotel room.
haha that is no worries..
they have international delivery too.. and i will get item in just 2-5 days.. so that shoudnt be a problem.
but before i purchase i just wanted to know will they device will work in my country and whether or not the site is spam..
coz the device rate is like too low..
It will work if they use GSM in India. But the stock rom will probably have no India language, but someone if you got your country sim card in it will detect India language.
But for the stock you need to use morelocales from the market. In custom roms you find all languages I believe. But know what you do before you purchase your device on the other side off the world.
I bought mine GF an HTC Sensation in the Netherlands and it was original from the UK, but I took it in mine backpack to China and tested it before, so if something was wrong I could easy return it, but in your case if you want return it you need pay expensive shipping cost back to the UK.
As it was from UK that meant there was no option to Choose chinese, but its in there anyway, you just need use this app.

hmm..thanks DexterMorganNL, language is not an issue. im fine with english only.
as you quoted. its going to be a problem if there is some issue with device, its going to cost me a lot to ship the item back to the UK and get it replace.
although they have promised me they wont charge anything extra to re-ship the replaced item.
Yep but you still need send the item back before you get an replacement. Warranty I believe is handled by HTC world wide, but better hope you never need use warranty because in worse case they will say you need ship it to UK.
Have you also though about customs? I don't know the customs in your country, but in mine country the custom always want there share, especial with an phone.

:O yeah... i dont know about the custom charges though.
ive got many international shipments delivered at my location with out any shares.
but this is the first time im getting an electronic item/phone from an international location... i hope there shouldnt be any customs.
but the item comes via DHL Express. are there chances of customs charging?? :O
Depends on the custom law in your country, but in my country customs charge you starting from € 20. I don't know how that is handled in India.
Hello,
I got my Lumia 800, and it's charging at the moment. But when I bought the phone from Amazon through FGS Trading, the box it came with has a sticker on it in German. It says:
"Neuwertig, gebrauchtes
Ihre Qualitätskontrolle 35"
Gebrauchtes means used...so does it mean I bought a new phone, but was given a used one?

It means mint condition too, kind of weird, but it states it's new yeah, but used to check some sort of quality control, maybe they opened it up to check.

Ah that's interesting to hear...Pesky Germans : )
But why is Gebrauchtes also printed on the label?
For me this sounds like it's not new. Looks more like a refurbished one that has gone through quality control to assure it's like new.
Maybe Nokia support would be able to tell using the phones IMEI?

That's what I'm thinking. I contacted the seller and we're going to sort this out.
At this point, it doesnt even matter right now because the phone won't turn on anyway Spent eight hours yesterday doing every trick/button combination possible.
I'll take it to the Microsoft store to see if they can do something.

Try a Nokia store, or you can arrange a repair if your phone has a warranty (which it should have). Check Nokia care online.

Unfortunately, the U.S. doesn't have Nokia stores. I went to the Microsoft store and they weren't able to do anything.
I've contacted both Nokia and the Amazon seller. We'll have to see how this works out. I waited all of my spring break for a phone that won't turn on!
At least I'm still very satisfied with how well it's built. It's like an Alfa Romeo. Won't work, but take one look at it and all the negatives will be forgotten.
Meanwhile, I'll live with my HD2.

Here's the link to check regarding the warranty and repair services, they should have the phone or in your case a replacement back to you in around a week, as mine is coming to me on Monday. An American who knows the beauty of an Alfa, sweet.
If you bought it on Amazon, just return.

Of course, I'm waiting for Alfa to make its return to the U.S.
I tried doing a search, and this popped up:
"Device was not designed for the US market:
We do not have the capability to repair devices that were not designed for the US market. Please check the warranty information that was included with your device and/or please contact your point of purchase. If you purchased the device in the US and you determine that your device came with a US warranty, please contact Nokia Customer Care at 1-888-665-4228 for information. Please include a copy of your proof of purchase that confirms the device was purchased in the United States and a copy of the in box US warranty documentation when you send your device in for repair."
It makes sense, since my particular unit was imported from T-mobile in Germany by the seller. Maybe I should've shelled out the extra $50 for the Amazon-certified international one.

The Lumia 800 is sold in the U.S. at Microsoft Stores, but it only comes in a bundle with speakers and headphones for $800 (about £500). Amazon sells the international unlocked version for $550. As far as I know, they're the same version, except Microsoft won't sell the phone separately.
OK here is my problem questions will follow.
i purchased my gtab 10.1 in usa.moved to philippines.screen started getting fuzzy then blacking out now its totally out. samsung refuses to repair it cause they don't do international warranty.then i went to samsung office here in philippines asked them about repairing my tablet.i was told they wont order or repair my unit cause its not from here and against there laws.so now im sitting here with a tablet that needs 2 parts.(1) lcd screen(2) lcd screen cable (mine is broken).i have looked on ebay none of the lcd screens come with the cable. gotta love samsung and how they do their customers. i dont even have a way to use ebay now cause i no longer have a bank account in usa or a place to send anything to. so does anyone know where or how i might be able to aquire spare parts for this thing?
Why is it Samsung's fault you broke the screen? And why is it their fault you made the choice to buy a tablet in one country when you lived in another? I don't see that they did anything wrong, tbh.

well for one you dont know all the info. you shouldnt be so quick to judge .im american from usa which i purchased my tab from usa. then after purchasing my tab i ended up moving.and what they do wrong is not support their products internationaly. also i did not break my screen. the lcd cable is what broke. the screen went bad before the cable broke so therefore samsung gave me a faulty unit. so yes i have every reason to complain about samsung and there support and product. so please read and understand before judging others. im asking if anyone knows where i might find parts im not asking for others to look for faults or degrading with remarks.

Posting this rant here isn't going to make samsung fix your tab.
Do you have a family member back in the states you can send your tab to and get them to send it to samsung to get repaired?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
wasnt posted as a rant only trying to explain my situation.i already said what i wanted and needed to samsung . anyway i do have family there but by the time i send this to them and they send it in my warranty will be over. so i figured i would just try to find the parts i need and get it fixed here out of pocket.
Does anyone know if the back housing is the same among all the regional variants? I would think so but I found an eBay listing where you had to pick between 4 or 5 model numbers. Thanks.
FYI, here's a good teardown guide:

And I asked Honor facebook page, and waiting for an answer

This is the listing that made me wonder in the first place.

Other listings aren't so specific. Another interesting thing is some of them have Honor branding on the back and some are plain with no branding.
It should fit, I don't see any difference between all models.
I have not seen any back housing for sale yet.
