So, as I'm sure most people in this forum have heard, HP are holding another fire sale of refurbed Touchpads from their eBay store at 6:00pm US Central time.
According to HP's Postage Terms & Conditions, they don't ship outside the US, see now, I understand this, it just sucks... because I'm from BLOODY England
Of course, I'm not particularly happy about this, I was looking to pick up a 32GB model until I read about them not shipping outside the US.
So, please, let me put this offer out there, if someone could perhaps, out of the kindness of their heart (and all that soppy crap), order me one? Of course, I'm willing to pay more than the price that HP are selling them for, not a substantial amount more, but certainly worth your while... on top of postage and packaging.
If some super sexy being is willing to do so, I'd like to request that this sale then be organised through eBay, y'know, so you can't just take my monies
I'm sure there are other people who are hoping for this also!

This has been the worst release ever, and the second worst was the transformer. I blame all this on asus. They are the ones responsible for all the retailers not having it. I'm pissed at bestbuty, amazon, gamestop. But it all goes back to asus. They are the screwups. After amazon telling me to stay up all night to preorder they finally give me a date of jan 25 at least. What the hell do I need to stay up all night for if it's a month later. I thought they would be able to get it a few days later not a month!
Maybe I should just chill....wait to see all the complaints everyone has before getting it or if I get it at all. Gamestop suppose to have it tomorrow, but with all this aggravation, I just might not get it....Oh who am I kidding, if it's available I'll get it.
Asus may be to blame but amazon has the worst policy when it comes to preorder. They screwed many people over for canceling orders only to reopen preorder shortly afterwards and the. act innocent with emails stating they can reorder. They put them people at the back of the line. Now they are even taking more orders knowing they won't even have them. Notice how they won't give estimated dates till long afterwards. Bestbuy is right behind them

According to Amazon rep I spoke with the 4-7 weeks is a conservative estimate. They have requested more stock from ASUS and as soon as they get it they will ship it out. The 4-7 weeks was their next scheduled shipment so assuming they can not get an extra stock from ASUS that is when the next orders will go out.

signed: because IMHO, if a production change fixes the issues I've read about, we ought to get this fixed by ASUS. Because that is tentamount to saying "We screwed up and accidentally shipped faulty hardware to merchants and consumers". That's something you have to make right if you're in such a business.

Excellent. Asus either knew about the GPS issue or didn't do enough quality testing before sending out the Prime. Now they need to handle it instead of trying to hide the malfunction by removing it from the specs. Relaunching the tablet with a new backplate but a new name is just a slap in the face to their customers.

Hey guys, I know this is *slightly* off-topic, but it is definitely related.
I'm sure everyone remembers the petition to ASUS to unlock the bootloaders. Lots of us signed, and it was effective (at least, as far as we can tell going on ASUS's word). However, the person that put together that petition then completely CHANGED the petition to a "Give us the TF700 NOW" petition, which (right now) is ridiculous. I'm trying to get Change.org to make it so you can't just randomly change an entire petition like that, which makes us lose credibility in signing these legitimate petitions.
I know that was a mouthful, so here:
tl;dr - Petition change.org so when you sign one petition, it doesn't get twisted into something else.

Why bother? We all have the option to return the product you purchased within a certain days limit. My was from BB and I returned within 14 days for a full refund.

For the people who are trying to register their Prime, but are unable because their Serial is wrong, i suggest you switch the O with n 0 vice versa.

This will look great on my white Evo! I've already got 3 Cruzerlite cases for my Evo LTE, but I'll probably go ahead and order one of these too whenever I order one for my Note 2! Might as well order them both at the same time so I'll only have to pay the shipping once. I like that the case design is the same, that way both of my phones will match. These are gonna look sweet!! Buyer beware of cruzerlite
Case looks cool, that being said, best of luck with Cruzerlite. They had a Facebook deal where you buy 2 get 1 free on cases back when LTEvo came out. So I ordered it, however was charged the full price of 3 cases. Even though my checkout total showed the reduced price, when I hit purchase, it showed otherwise. I contacted customer support for SIX WEEKS before getting an automated response asking for more information .... More information? I gave them everything I had, you'd think they could look up my order #, name, date of purchase i even gave them!! And nothing, after 3 emails back and forth, I was told they could not find my purchase, however I see it clearly on my bank statement online. So I placed another support ticket thing, same automated response, after back and forth the person again told me, couldn't find my order. So after the third time - it no longer let me open a ticket, they no longer respond - so I politely ASKED them on their Facebook page "What happened to my order? Was buy 2 get 1 free I was charged for all 3? I keep contacting you guys to no avail?" then guess what? They blocked me on Facebook. No response, no message, nothing. Just shat upon me once they had my money.
Good luck with this shady company (Cruzerlite) while you have a nice looking case, I will never purchase anything from the again. Buy at your own risk, or atleast assume full price and 0 customer service.
