New leaked Market or old Market?
Its the old market that was on the 4.5.91 rom. I haven't tried on wifi, but I can confirm it wont work in data. Tried restarting. Everything else involving network works... I heard I need to factory reset but I really don't want to lol. Clearing cache should work? Normal and/or dalvik?

Clearing Dalvik and cache won't hurt anything.
Beamed from WinBorg 4G via XDA Premium
I did a factory reset on mine and it took care of it. But if the other posts work, great!
Success!! I just tried clearing the cache first and it worked I need to learn to try this stuff first with any problem I have.... oh well, thanks for the tips guys!
Btw, what IS the dalvik cache?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
"Dalvik cache is a program cache area for the program dalvik. Dalvik is a java based virtual machine that is the bases for running your programs (the ones that have the .apk extension). In order to make access times faster (because there's not JIT (just in time) compiler installed by default), the dalvik-cache is the result of dalvik doing a optimization of the running program. Sounds confusing. It's similar to the prefetch files in Windows. "

Check your market settings. You must have download apps over wifi only checked.

I believe what we are( yes me too! ) experiencing is wrong 3G settings. If you are getting an android market download error 500, I think it could either be a very slow connection or wrong proxy, so you just have to navigate to the wireless settings and delete the mobile network settings for smsc and access point names and get a full new settings from the network by asking them for one (usually through an sms)
I had the same problem, saying I can only download from the market via wifi (getting my Razr to connect to it is another story)
I did this:
Settings -> Data Manager -> Data Saver (turned it off)

Photon - Woke up this morning to no wifi

I am on the Jokersax cm10. Have been for months. The wifi was working when I went to bed. I've tried rebooting. I've tried wiping my cache. I've tried reflashing my rom. I didn't change anything wifi related before bed. I've enabled and disabled airplane mode. I've disabled and reenabled wifi. This is a strange one. OH, and it will SCAN and find wifi networks (so the wifi isn't totally bad), but when I try to connect it always goes from "connecting" back to not being connected at all no matter what network I try. Also, the icon never shows up on the notification bar.
The last time I had the same problem I had to reboot the WiFi router.

Try wipe all and reflash ithink it will work

Ding ding, we have a winner. I'd hoped to avoid doing a total wipe, but that fixed it. Thanks guys.

Data won't turn off!

When I turn off my data connection it stays on....sounds weird.....but true.....any way to fix it. ViperRez Rom.

never heard of this problem before
*Install stock HTC recovery and do a factory reset(this method works if you have data issues maybe it may work for you)
You could try a free third party widget off the play store. That might solve the problem if going into airplane mode will turn off your data connection.

What happens when you reboot? I think I always had to turn it on after a reboot, so if you want it off that may do the trick!
if that doesnt fix it, wipe cache and dalvik, mine was doing the same a while ago on the same rom
airplane mode. that'll do it.
Nothing has worked for me. gonna flash a new ROM tonight.
