I think what you look for is a blacklist application. Check the market for a one that suits you best.

Hi,
I have disabled all vibration in the settings menu. But still my phone vibrates when running USSD code. (All other vibrations are disabled)
When I call the USSD code *123#, it show the result pop-up with vibration.
It drains my battery much, as after each call and message, my mobile operator automatically sends the Last call cost and balance details.
Please help me.
ya this is annoying me much.airtel gives the service reply msg for every msg and calls ..i do 50 sms daily so for each sms it vibrates every time and vibrates drains much battery
to stop those vibrations of ussd pop up...
go to sounds tick haptic feedback,u ll get the vibration intensity option will be enabled now just drag the slider to leftside ie make it zero now turn off the haptic feedback, thts all done no more vibrations for ussd pop ups to stop annoying beeps ,keep media volume to zero or, root device and replace the beep sound with silent one...
@superfast
This works, Thanks
Here we go !!! An App can disbale USSD Messages
As this is my first post.. so i cant post external links here.
so type "Balance Update / USSD blocker" in googleplay u will find a app which will disable USSD Messages.
Couldnt locate "Vibration Intensity"
Hi,
I have two mobiles(HTC Explorer and HTC One X) and I am irritated by USSD tone and vibration in both. I have installed "quiet balance/USSD Blocker" But it only blocks messages and not tone and sound. I also tried to look for that sound in system\media\sounds\ui but none of those sound matching with the beep coming at USSD.
Please anyone help, I am badly in need for solution.

Try this:
- Open dialer/phone app
- press menu button, select settings and disable the vibration settings.
Ps: it's been like 5 months since I last used stock ROM. So please pardon me, if I got anything wrong.
Swyped from my Samsung Galaxy SII
Thanks buddy for reply.
I tried that too. But there isn't vibrate settings in dialer.
My os jaggy jag(I guess he made it with 2.3.5
Or this model doesn't have this function.

I have the galaxy s 2.....and i noticed that the incoming call ringtone is starting too low than increases.....so i found a soulution for it......but the problem is in the sms ringtone its too low even i made the volume at the max.....even the notification sound is too low also..........; so is there any solution ??? is there anybody has the same problem ????? ...........help me guys please i cant hear my incoming sms's.................thank you in advance....
Any one .....???????
Well SMS tone works on Notification sound, so keep it on higher side if you want loud SMS tones.
Otherwise you've to select a high pitch tone or a longer one.
You've no reply because no one finds the SMS volume low, me? Mine is always on vibrate.

Dont forget to hit the thanks botton
Since updating to ICS, a feature I really miss from GB is the turn over to mute funtion for SMS. Sure it works for a phone call ringtone, but that's all. Even trying to turn volume down dooesn't work (by the time i've pressed the volume rocker enough times to change to silent, the tone has finished!)
Anyone got any other ideas on how to mute an SMS notification quickly?
Get a short SMS notification sound
Sorry couldn't help it. But as soon as I press my volume button the sound mutes. Only have to press it once.

You can press any volume button to silent your phone's ringtone. That's what I do. lol

it just interrupts me
i lost an awesome temple run game because some idiot dialled the wrong number
i love my ringtone, i just hate the call screen
When I receive a call the screen does not wake. If I wake the phone manually, I can see the incoming call notification, but the phone app incoming call screen does not show.
Any tips on how to fix this? A reboot does not help.

I had that with my alarm once. Turned out another app was stopping the screen turning on. It was a while ago though so I can't remember which one it was sorry.

Turns out that the do not disturb mode prevents the incoming call screen from being shown. I would like the phone to wake up and show incoming calls during do not disturb, but without any sound or vibrations of course.
My Samsung S7 did wake up. Is it Android P or Huawei that are responsible for this changed behavior?

Yeh noticed that too, it was weird, as my previous Samsung phones never acted like that. This is my first phone with Pie so I'm not sure if it's a Pie or Huawei thing.

You can setup do not disturb mode as you like. For example you can let calls get through or just calls by your favourite contacts.
How the phone notifies you depends on your notification volume settings. If your phone is on ringtone, it rings, on vibrate it vibrates and on silent it just lights up.
So if you put the phone on silent mode while in do not disturb and exempt incoming calls from do not disturb, you should get exactly what you want.

Thanks for clerifying how DND works with Android P on Huawei phones.
That you have to adjust both sound and enable DND to get this behavior, seems like a bad descission by somebody. Maybe some get disturbed by the screen waking, but you always have the opportunity to place the phone face down...
Anybody that can recommend a good sound and notification profile manager?
