Hi
I have a new phone. I thought that after logging into the market, all the apps I installed on the previous phone will be automatically installed on the new one. Is this so? Is there something I should do to enable that? (I also have a galaxy tab and there it downloaded all apps)
Thank you,
the market only tracks apps you purchased

I tried searching for this answer, but I think the terms are too broad because I'm getting tons of results, just not the one I'm looking for.
I like the ability to have my phone sync apps with my google account when I flash a new ROM, after a hard reset, etc. But how do I prevent the phone from installing apps I've removed from the phone?
For example, I had an Atrix and had Tegra Zone installed. I have since moved on to a Samsung Galaxy S II. When I flashed it with Cyanogenmod, and allowed the google sync, Tegra Zone got automatically installed. I uninstalled it, but later when I flashed the phone again and reset to defaults, Tegra Zone was installed again.
How do I manage those apps to prevent synchronization?
Thanks.
Bump. Little help?
Hello. I just installed the Polish 4.1.2 ROM on my Galaxy SIII and i went on to install apps. I have it on manual because i like installing each app by itself and make its settings etc.
I have a problem though. After some experimentation with many apps until i find the ones i like i now have many pages on the My Android Apps tab. The thing is that when i check Other apps in my library it doesnt show them all unless i install enough so they leave the Other apps in my library tab.
Is there a way to watch all my apps so i can know which one to install? Thank you
Hi, my phone is driving me crazy and i regretted moving to android from iOS. Here's my problem , after i accidentally remove google account from my phone and after i re-added my google account back to the phone , my phone keep redownload deleted apps . I tried to disable google sync like google drive and data and samsung backup and even disabled backup on my phone but its still not working. I can't find anyone who have the same problem on the internet. I also tried to go play store but i can't find anythings thats related to the problem . Can anyone help me with my problem. Im getting frustrated here, i deleted the deleted apps 5 times but after i deleted it , my phone keep redownload it back from play store. Is this a new malware ? Thanks!
Im using Samsung S4 i9500 and I'm running latest firmware android kit lat 4.4.2 and no root.

Hmm. When you first add your account, it asks if you want to keep the phone backed up. Don't check that off. You'll still be able to sync all your contacts and photos, stuff like that. Do this while on data, then go into the Play Store and go to it's settings and disable the auto-update over wifi. This should stop this behavior. I've never seen them re-install after uninstalling them though. That is odd. But it's not malware. Just aggressively trying to "help".
Hi All
I have tried to detach apps from Android-Google playstore because I do not want some updates, e.g. Skype.
It works well initially, though Skype comes back with an update notification in my apps(play store) within a day.
I wonder if someone here in the forums or Titanium can advise what I could do to make it permanent? The possibility of detaching apps was one of the reasons I went pro.
Thanks
Hi all,
A couple of days ago I rooted my M4. Thereafter I installed Titanium Backup to remove some apps I do not use, like Google Drive, Google Plus, Google Play Books etc.
After removing them, they are being installed without any question. Is it the app What's New that causes this? If so, is it save to remove this app?
Thanks in advance,
Sander
Google Store register them upgradeable before you remove them. You must first disable the auto-update. Then remove and reboot.
It's safe to remove What's New.
