Dies anyone know how to access the programming menu on the MoPho? ##7764726 (##PROGRAM) does not work. That's what I used on other moto phones.

Talk to sprint to get your MSL #. Also, there's ##DATA# (modifies settings) and ##786# (views provisioning)

Be careful with ##786# if you have your msl because you can wipe your phone in that menu. ##msl# will allow you to manually program, ##3282# and ##72786# along with your msl will do a data restore for times when you lose data connection with 3g or 4g and the data profile update didn't work in the settings. Let me know if you need more info on this.

Ok, I take it the msl is unique to each device. Is the passcode unique, too?
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium

When it is asking for the passcode it wants the msl.

They will ask you why you need it. Just tell them you talked to a sprint store because your phone has no data or service and the sprint store said you need to manually program it and they should give it to you. They will tell you to enter ##msl# more then likely and you got it.

i would say if your on gingerbread type this ##debug# and go to evdo or 3g engineering. goto the bottom of page and see if your authenticated. it sounds like you are not. if so verify your AAA and HA keys are correct in your MIP profile. and does cricket run on verizon or sprint network. if verizon you need to put a modified sprint/verizon prl on it so the phone dosent think its roaming.

No 3g at all

Any suggestions? Im running meanROM v30. Ive tried profile and prl updates. I have completely reset my data profile to no avail. I get 1x data.. just no 3g at all.

That happened to me at some point. Try setting your roaming option to Sprint Only, then toggling Network Mode to CDMA only then back to LTE/CDMA. That fixed it for me. Hope this helps.
sorry delete
That didn't fix it :/ any other suggestions? Sprint already reset data on their side.

After this process hit the symbol for menu on screen near the top right corner. This will do a restore, this is where it gets tricky. Because, presumably, your data profile is missing an active profile. This is an issue.

---------- Post added at 12:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:39 AM ----------
From there, your phone will do a hands free activation, if this fails, go to your dialer, hit ##3282#, go to edit mode, enter msl, go to first menu data / data profile tab, make sure Active profiles is set to 1 and all selections except for home address have been filled in. Back out completely to home screen. Go to settings, system updates, profile update.

I got that to successfully work.. but it still is stuck at 1x afterwards.
Have you tried putting it on cdma only and leaving it?
You may have to turn mobile data off then back on afterwards

I had a customer having the same issue from day one with the phone. It slowly became an irritation for them over the last month, couldn't believe they put up with it. I increased tower priority, set it to sprint only, did a recovery, etc. Nothing seemed to work, I'm so use to a quick fix I never checked the settings. His was completely blank, no root, no custom roms etc. Just a bad activation

Customer service ota update?

I have been having problems with sending and receiving text messages. Well to be honest I can't at all. I called cs and they wanted me to accept an update. I am rooted so of course I didn't go through with it and I did not let her know I did not go through with it. I just told her it didn't work. My question is should I unroot and go through with the troubleshooting?

Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
did you just root? try this:
Once you reboot, let hands free activation finish. Or go settings-> activate. If it does not complete or something doesn't work, like sms, try making a phone call (not *2 or an 800 number, an actual call. call your mother!) If that does not work, just stay on the line and you should be connected to a Sprint rep that will refresh your phone. then update your profile and prl, in settings -> system updates. (info from the rooting/panda threads)
it sounds like you need a refresh to me. I'm not sure they can force an ota update onto your phone, I think they just re-authorizing your account on the sprint network, but someone else can confirm that before you trust me on it.
if you just did lazy panda s-off, you definitely need to do this now.
good luck man

Doesn't work. Someone is just rehashing what worked on older galaxy phones. I think it worked for S4 and they just assume it will work for Note 3.
This isn't the first site to post this. I believe it requires being on 4.1 if I remember correctly. Check the domestic unlock thread, I believe someone posted the same thing there. @Epix4G, you even commented the post in the domestic unlock thread
