[Q] Droid X2 Battery Problems - Motorola Droid X2

Hi. I'm a new member so I am not able to post this question in the Development forums so I apologize for that.
My question is in regards to the battery for the Droid X2. I've had this phone for a while now (almost since it first came out) and have been up and down with the battery life. I've been flashing Eclipse and Liberty as each new rom comes out. However, on the latest versions of Liberty1.0 and Eclipse2.0.1, I've been having significant battery drain. I had it on Eclipse 1.3 as well. Usually, if this happened in the past, it was because I restore an app+data with TiBu and it caused a problem. However, this time I manually installed all my apps from the market and made sure to wipe batterystats.bin after a full charge. I've barely used my phone all day (meaning 100+ texts and no internet use).
As I mentioned, I've had this problem before, but was able to fix it by wiping data and reinstalling my apps. No luck this time however.
I am currently running Eclipse 2.0.1. Here are the apps I have downloaded and use (not everyday):
- 7 Words
- Alarmdroid
- Astro
- Bank of America
- Battery Calibration
- BeWeather Pro
- Blast Monkeys
- Boston BusMap
- Brightest Flashlight
- Defender
- Dolphin Browser HD
- Dropbox
- Evernote
- Facebook
- Friendcaster for Facebook

- SwiftKey X
- Tape-a-Talk

Thanks for your help!

I just bought a new OEM battery so let's see if that was the problem. Already down to 64% after only 6 hours of only texting on and off.

I read somewhere that there is a bug in the phone that makes it so when you unplug your phone from the charger, it doesnt actually sleep even when the phone if off. The fix was to reboot your phone after unplugging it from the charger. It sucks Motorola doesnt come out with fixes for this stuff faster.

I've read that too a while back. I don't think that is the problem though especially since Peppermints battery bug fix was implemented. I'm really start to get the feeling that its my battery because lately its been warmer than normal while charging and I get the same fast drain rate on stock, liberty, and eclipse roms. Hopefully when I get the new battery that fixes it.

I am having the same battery drains even using SetCPU profiles wit the screen off profile set to 260 max 260 min and still. I am getting the trident electra case so that will help a lot but I a hoping that the drain will stop with an aftermarket battery.

Look at your battery usage. Also if wifi is on and searching you will have drain. Also check to see if your GPS is on. That will cause excess drain. Look into your battery usage in settings and see whats using all the juice. One thing that may help is go to the time/date settings and uncheck automatic. That has helped me in the past with the phone idle in battery usage. Did you flash the ginger bread battery fix? That can help to ensure your battery is reporting the right level.

Power tutor is a very good app for monitoring ACTUAL battery usage (measured in mW's with three different charts) by each element on your phone and it monitors in real time.

[Q] Keep the battery running longer

I am completely new at this, I read that some say the battery drains too quickly over night while in sleep mode (running the vegan 5.1 rom), even when wifi, sync, etc. were shut off. Has anyone else experienced this? How is this compared with iPad? Thanks!
I'm too a bit concern about this issue. Does this problem occur on Vegan ROM only or other ROMs?
What about standard ROM?
Why not just plug it in overnight? Seems easy enough...
Well, it's all about convenience. I just don't want to remember to keep thingy plugged in overnight, every night...
With average usage about couple hours per day - single charge should lasts for 5 days.

I had to retrain myself when I got my HTC Incredible. I keep a charger at work, home and in both vehicles so I always have power available when I need it. Once I rooted, installed Hydra Kernel and got rid of the bloatware my battery uptime was significantly improved.
I suppose the bloatware on the stock ROM would cause some battery drain that would be helped by a custom ROM or at least removing the bloatware that you do not need.
Yup, that's the question. Which ROM has least amount of bloatware...

Whats the hydra kernel?
Depends on what you consider bloatware
VEGAn is pretty clean if you ask me, but I did stream line it a bit for battery life.
System app remover is awesome. No more using terminal to pull apks manually.
I Yank out the tts (text to speech) stuff
I pull streetview and gmaps (I can get directions from gmaps online if I need them)
I pull email and Gmail (the galaxy tab email port runs my Hotmail and Gmail from one app and I can tell it to never check unless I press the check button)
I pull the news and weather app (I can control update regularity with beautiful Widgets to sync once an hour as apposed to once a min with stock)
I gut out the stock browser and launcher after replacing them with dolphin HD and launcher pro.
There are more but since I already pulled them I can't exactly check
I get amazing battery life this way. If I shut it down when I'm done with it I can make it last all week on one charge at about 3-4 hours of moderate use a day.
I can use it all day heavily and put it to sleep at night and still wake up with 30+% battery.
Looks like gTab never goes truly asleep, just turned screen off. Some apps continue to work.
Thank you, I will give the systemapp remover a try.
This is where the Ipad and the Gpad are totally different. I can charge the ipad to 100% and wifi wll be turned on and I can turn it on a week later and the battery will be at 99%. The gpad with wifi turned off will be down to nothing in just a couple of days. Like someone said the thing is never off. I hate having to keep it plugged in all the time.

Under settings / about look at battery usage and you should be able to see what is using your battery.
I used system app remover to take out all my reduntant apps (launcher, browser, music player, ect) and set my wifi to turn off when the screen turns off and now my gtab just sips the battery.
I went to bed with it at 41% last night and checked it this morning as I was about to leave for work (8 hours later) and the battery was at 35%! Before I was losing almost 20% a night so this is a HUGE difference!
I'm going to try to optimize a little more when I get home. The only app running that I dont really need is the Amazon Market so I may get rid of that and see if that helps any. My goal is to get it to .5% battery drain per hour.

The wifi settings took a while for me to find so if anyone wants to know hit menu while in wifi connections & settings and hit advanced.
.5% is a good goal. Still tinkering myself and have it arround .7% but I know .5% is not out of reach.

I use a widget called "Power Widget", which provides a one button on/off for many settings including wifi. This is the free version: https://market.android.com/details?id=at.abraxas.powerwidget.free&feature=search_result

Setting the wifi to turn off with the screen is a HUGE power saver. When my gtab was draining a lot of battery I looked up the battery usage statistics and the wifi was using almost as much as the system idle!
I think right now I'm hovering at about .8% battery drain. I might turn off my RSS widget since I mainly use Pulse as my news source now. .5% here I come!
Well, I set WiFi policy to Off when screen is off and use Task Killer to shutdown every running process before putting tablet asleep and still battery loosing charge from 91% down to 77% in about 10 hours.
So, my numbers are about 1.4% per hour when gtab in "sleep" mode.
I check WiFi router and can see that gTab does switch WiFi off...
Question about that system app remover. How it removes redundant apps (say like stock email, music player, google search) from read-only system partition?
I thought that the only way to remove them is to rebuild and then re-flash ROM without those apps.
That's why apps like "Advanced Task Killer" etc. only kill processes from memory, but then Android re-launch them again.
I understand, that for phone not to fall deep into sleep is a feature, but for a tablet it's just a waste...

I installed "SystemApp Remover". It lists the apps in 2 categories "Regular Apps" and "System Apps". Regular apps are the ones you can remove normally without this app; the ones under "System Apps" are the build-in ones that you can not remove using the usual method. Once you select "System Apps", choose "Assist" in settings, and the app will highlight the system apps in 3 colors - green, yellow, red. Green=ok to remove; yellow=maybe ok to remove; red=removal not recommended.
I suggest you know what you're removing even for the green ones. The name of the app usually tells or just Google it. You can also back it up in settings before the removal.
I have removed some, not enough to test for results yet, but I've seen a few positive feedback from others. Just be careful while doing it, that's all.
Interesting, what is the most "power hungry" or better say - "refusing go to sleep" application?
I understand, this tests might be tedious to do. I think that the best candidates are those who are restarted on its own after Task Killer killed them..

Try "SystemPanel", it has a function that monitors which app uses the battery the most. According to its description, the monitor function uses about 1 minute of battery if it runs for a full day. And, the monitor function can be turned off and nothing else would run in the background from SystemPanel. There is a Free version as well.

suddenly running hot

Nothing has changed on the phone in a week or two (last change was when prYde theme updated), but suddenly today it is running rather warm and rolling through its battery.
I do not see anything strange in behavior, just getting rather warm, and all of a sudden. I actually noticed it was warming my leg in my pocket. Had a look at the phone - screen was not on, but it was heating.
Shut down, pulled the battery out for a few minutes, powered back on, still doing it.
And generally I use ~4% of batt/hr. As it sits, this morning, I unplugged the phone at 06:45 - now at 08:15 I am sitting at 72%. Something is amiss.
Any suggestions or comparable experiences out there? I am at a loss, since nothing has changed...
TIA.
Very interesting. I am running stock 2.2, but rooted. I noticed yesterday my phone was also running stupid hot. The temp app listed it as 114 deg. F. while I had wifi and GPS enabled. The screen was so hot, I could not keep my finger on it.
I have read other forum threads about high temperatures and they recommend replacing the phone. Not sure I want to go that route yet.
When you think about it, 114 deg. F. is not safe.

In another thread I dubbed this the "hot pocket" issue. I have the same problem. I've had it with community ROM 1.x and evil fascinate 3.51 and even a fresh (data wiped) 3.6. I'd love to know what is happening, as I can no longer count on my phone to survive a day, battery wise, even when it is just sitting in my pocket.
Here are the apps I have had installed EVERY time the issue has happened, so we have a beginning list to work from:
ADW Launcher
Hacked Pandora
News and weather
Titanium backup
Tune-in radio
Catch notes
AdFree
Amazon AppStore
Flashlight
GroupMe
Miren Browser
Pulse (news)
ShapeWriter keyboard
Tapatalk Pro
Wireless Tether
Seeing as the issue seems rom/kernel independent, it may be one of our apps.
What apps are you guys running?
Any in common with my list?

I have the same issue sometimes... trying to troubleshoot it as well while I wait on CM7
I have plenty of apps (meaning it will be a bear to list them all, but I am going there at the end of this post) - TiBa would be the only one listed thus far that we have in common...
Something that I opted to try this morning after I posted the question (and I apologize - I realized as I got on the highway this morning, that I had not listed any of my setup - that info will be at the end of this post...) was to swing back home and swap batteries.
To be clear, I keep 2 batteries - one charges in a Samsung stand/charger, the other in the phone. I often switch them when one is getting low as I always have a full one standing by...
I had rebooted teh phone a few times this morning and I was unable to clear the hot pocket (I love the name!), so I figured what the hell... Swing through the house, shut the phone down gracefully (long press power, choose Power Off, not just a hard batt pull...) swapped batteries, powered on and hit the road.
15 minutes later I was in traffic and thought I would have a look - I was 100% back to normal operation. Temps felt normal, battery was chillin at 99% - and it has been in great shape all day.
I want to switch batteries again - as soon as this one gets low, I will do so and report back - very curious if the Hot Pocket will return with the other battery. Honestly, I will be thrilled if it does - cause that is an EASY fix - cheap too...
For the sake of prosperity and ease for others, should the battery prove to be part of the problem, this is what I use:

I've tried pretty much every kernel, including stock that has been released. This issue has been happening to me ever since 2.2 came out.
It has mostly happened simultaneously as a SoD (sleep of death), but not always. Sometimes it'll just get hot and I'll turn on the screen and nothing will be happening.
I should also note, I've been running ADW Launcher on every ROM, so that (hopefully not!) may be the connection. What launcher are you running when it happens?

These are the apps we have in common which aren't just the standard apps. I have also excluded a few which don't have services running all the time, since I've had no apps running beyond ADW launcher and had hotpocket and SoD issues, which stands to reason, it is caused by either A: a common kernel flaw, B: a commonly shared, yet broken, 2.2 custom ROM file, or C: an app which has a service that always runs. I'm leaning towards C, but the other two can't be tested until we disprove C, and B can't be tested until we rule out both A and C. ...I feel like I'm writing a biology experiment
Also, what launcher are you running, stock?
Next step, I guess, is to uninstall all of those apps in common and see if the HP returns, and if not, install each of those apps one by one until it does.. ..Sometimes I hate the scientific method.
I use LP+ - and oddly, I have never, not one time had the SoD.
I haven't recreated the hot pocket since this morning, but I also have not swapped the other battery back in. I can uninstall most of those apps with little to no impact on my life, but Titanium Backup - god it would suck for me if that were the offender.
Ad Free - I am not sure we need any longer. I think we get host files with roms a lot of the time.
I'll miss Tapatalk for a few days, but the rest are a non-issue - I can remove those if it happens again. If it doesn't, I'm not sure removing them would help learn anything...
yeah i've had similar issues as well, mine were all of comm rom 1.3 running comavolt kernel and I use ADW launcher
haven't had it happen since i updated to evil 3.6
one common thing that i thought i had noticed was it seemed to happen when i was in a location that had really crappy service, like it was stuck on searching for a signal or something
not sure if that actually had anything to do with it, i do have some of the apps that you guys do
ADW
pandora
xda
amazon app store
facebook
etc
TiBu was recently updated - could it be the "hot pocket" app?
Another Fascinating post by my XDA app...
I've had this issue as well and I'm running dark revenge and one of jts earlier 2.2 kernels. Every time has been in an area with poor reception where the phone switches back and forth between 3g and 1x.
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
MIUI V5 with PB/J uv -100
Also Overheating.
I find the low signal to be very intriguing.
I have been unable to re-create the hot pocket - swapped batteries last night and no issue since.
But when it did happen to me, I too was in a low signal area. I never get more than 1 bar 3G or 2 bars 1X at teh tech bench in my office... that is where I had my issues, and back there I can watch it switch - 1X, 3G, 1X, 3G without moving myself or the phone. I know that others are moving and affecting the signals bouncing around in that cinder-block building, but still...
This could be something.
I live in a black hole of sorts and never get good signal. Although I have had hot pocket even while shopping, and I know there is full signal in the stores I frequent.
I also have had the SoD issue, so it may be an overlapping hot pocket result of the SoD, not because of the hot pocket on it's own.
Bah, this phone has made me respect the stability of feature phones. My last phone (HTC 8125, WM5) lasts for a week on a charge.. I miss that battery life.. I just don't miss the brick size of it.
i really think it has to do with the poor signal, thats the only time that it has happened to me, but i don't know what the solution is
I ran across this today, which caused a SoD issue as well as Hot Pocket. Linking the thread instead of pasting, seeing as it may be unrelated:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107529
Me too. I think it's the new updated Voltage Control.
I'm also having SOD and heating issues no matter which kernel/ROM I run, even with stock voltage. I too am running Miren.
i'm not running miren and i don't use voltage control and i've still had the issue

[Q] Eris - Problem w/ Facebook Sync, Battery Drain

I have a rooted Eris and have flashed XtraSense 5.0.1 with Sensibility 3.0 Theme. Phone has been running great. No issues except two things that I would love to get some help with:
1) Battery Life has been AWESOME. I did the battery tweak and everything. No complaints, until I did a few updates from the market for Facebook and Google Maps. My battery dropped from 98% (Started the morning at 100%) and after they finally finished and installed my battery was at 65%. Can anybody explain that massive battery drain that I have never experienced with anything else on the ROM/Theme?
2) I have searched high and low in these forums but I cant seem to find a solution to my Facebook Sync problem. I cannot get my Facebook contacts to show up in my contacts/people section of the phone. I have sync'd, re-synced, removed HTC Sense, resync'd it. I just cannot see to get Facebook to sync all my Facebook contatcs. Can anyone point me in the right direction on that?
Thanks for all the help in advance!
---------- Post added at 09:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:14 AM ----------
One thing I did notice that I did differently was disable my battery tweak before I unplugged so that I could go customize my CPU Min Settings to 245760, because I couldnt get it to stay while running battery tweak (it would always drop back down to 160000 min) but now it appears to be holding at 245760 min with battery tweak on, but still what a massive battery drain in less than a half hour by just updating market apps. Any other thoughts?
I had that same problem with the market updating Google Maps on a different ROM. The update had completed successfully, but the Market app was still trying to download and install it, and it drained the battery very quickly. I first noticed because the phone was unusually hot - sort of like how hot it gets when you do Navigation.
A restart of the phone and things were back to normal.
Facebook/HTC Sync never gave me problems in xtrSENSE, with the exception of contact photo syncing, which has not been working for months now. However, just to ask, in the People app, menu->view, do you have "Facebook" checked?

Horrible Battery Drainage - FIXED.

Having been facing horrible battery drainage for a week - the phone left unplugged to overnight was loosing about 70% of battery charge...
In the morning in menu>>settings>>about phone>>battery>>battery use>>battery chart
AWAKE was showing continues blue line throughout the past night... and the fact that I had recently installed the other fifteen apps made the situation even more complicated :-(
Long story short, as result of analyzing battery use chart, System Panel app history tab, as well as uninstalling/installing my programs one by one, the application what was preventing my Amaze from going into SLEEP mode and draining its battery appx 8% per hour - was identified.
It turned out to be the Amazon AppStore - by the way downloaded from the official web site.
So, do not allow this fabulous app to remain in background (unless you do keep your dear amaze consistently plugged in), and after the use always kill it. Now I am treating it as follow menu>>settings>>apps>>manage apps>>Appstore>>"Force stop" followed by "Clear data" ;-)
However! Even after such my treatment it keeps 'working', the relevant chart in System Panel reads that - six/eight times a day the CPU is being loaded by this particular application!
O.K.
There has been one more app found among my operational environment able to prevent entering the SLEEP mode. It is IM+ Pro. This messager can run in two ways - Background mode and Push mode. When left in the Background mode it won't let our device to enter SLEEP, cousing the similar battery drainage as Amazon AppStore does.
O.K.
Merci beaucoup! for reading my post . & I am happy to add, that now my phone battery consumption in the STAND BY is for sure below 1% per hour .. left unplugged till morning the device is loosing no more that 4%, in fact the signal reception quality line is never marked with green color on the overnight chart in 'Battery Use'.
P.S. Worthy to be also mentioned, during my checks and playing around with System Panel, there have been spotted the apps, what if left running in background (with eather status - 'active', 'cashed' or 'service-only') on one side allow the device going into the SLEEP but on the other keep repeatedly loading CPU around 0.5 - 2.0 % each, what in my opinion is already battery consuming.. The spotted apps are: eBay Official App, Text Free, Control Panel, Maps, Startup Manager & HeyWire.
P.P.S. Probably no need in synchronizing emails frequently during night time - such task is pretty much battery consuming too.
I'm using quicksense 2.1.2. Left it on last night at 79% then in the morning, 74%
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G using xda premium
Thanks!
Thanks for reporting this, i would have never guessed it because the only task manager i have is the factory htc one. I was wondering why my battery would drain so much, i would unplug it at 100% and a few minutes later it would crawl down to 94%(with the anker battery). I uninstalled it and now lets see how different my battery is.

Good post for giving people some great starting points to help solve some of these problems.
One thing to note: I have the Amazon App Store as well, but no battery problems. My device is rooted and, it's likely, that it's not entirely the app's fault that it's draining the battery, but rather something between the app and Sense not playing nicely.
I've had several apps that would either labor the processor or crash when sense was running that run fine now that rooted.

Hello, and thank you for reading my thread.
1. Introducing of me and my problem
I am the proud owner of a SGS3, but I'm not english so excuse my poor level of speaking. Hope you can understand me. My problem may seem quite familar, but after hours of reading I still did not find anyone with the same problem than me (I read on german, french and english - especially XDA - forums without any actual answer). Like I allready said I have a SGS3 but I had a SGS2 and a Note 1 before. Being a "Flash-addict", and tired of TouchWizz, I flashed a lot of roms, and of course CM. And here is the problem : on every CM installation I have I have terrible battery issues. Here you may think "Pfff... another n00b who didn't read the fu***** manual. (RTFM -- joke -- understood ?) If my problem is in a new thread and not in a general "Problem" thread, it is because it seems very 'unique' to me. I have :
- GPS totally off (localisation OFF in settings)
- WiFi constant refreshing OFF too
- NFC and AndoBeam OFF even if I read it has no impact on battery life
- I ALWAYS enter multi-tasking and close all apps
- WiFi and Data OFF (Data always OFF because I only have 50MB of mobile internet / month (Viva la france !) - WiFi only ON at home )
- Brightness on AUTO
- CPU governor on 'PEGASUSQ' or 'POWERSAVE' depending on usage
- Talking about usage :
- SMS and Facebook
- Apollo (sorry but I can't live without a7x or black sabbath)
- Bash (u know that weird app that eats your time)
- Internet via Chrome or default browser (at home)
- That's all (+ some games at home)
3. What I have tried
On SGS2 :
- Buying a new battery (talking about battery do you know how do be 1000000% sure you have an original battery ? Some people say about the 'Made in Taiwan / Made in Korea" etc... but I have friends why an original SGS4 w/ battery made in Korean and some w/ battery made in Japan...)
On GN :
- Buying a new battery
On SGS3 (my current one, as you may guess)
- I read it is better not to use Titanium Backup so I tried without (sooooooo long restoring all apps from Play Store)
- I read extSDcard can cause problems so I put it away - do you know where you can unmount extSDcard in CM settings ? I know this option exists in TouchWizz based roms.
- I tried all the placebo solutions like wiping battery stats and so on...
- I installed Boefla (sorry for misspeling) Kernel and used an "Extreme Battery Yank" presset.
- Always upgrading to last CM Nightly (and re-flashing Boeffla Kernel)
- Flashing Mods for battery life
- See last part for SCREEN OFF fix !!!
4. Extra Notes :
- I have no battery issues on Stock ROMs and most of Sammy based roms
- I use a 1A battery charger, Samsung Official or very well done Chinese Export
- I have an extBattery with 2A charging possibility if needed.
- I really enjoy CM11 and really wanted to use it as daily-usage ROM (and not another KK rom like SuperNexus)
- My phone heats a little bit more than on Sammy Roms
- Current Widget says my battery status is Good (not dammaged battery)
- Oh and I have the stock 2100 mAh Battery
Best stats reached : ~5 % in one night (pretty good for me) and 3% in 30 minutes video with Wifi on, samsung headsets, AUTO brightness, PowerSaving governor and synchronisation and all the stuff off.
When playing games like "Worms 2 Armaggedon" or just watching videos on YouTube in HQ by charging the phone with my 1A charger, the battery level does not move (+1 % per 40 minutes)
Thank you for reading my thread and being so awesome in modding our devices !
Edited : Solutions found
Applied this solution (from Reddit) :
After much experimentation, I realized that it is not GP services app itself that is causing the wakelocks, it's the google search app pinging the GP services app for location all the time! Especially now with the Google now launcher, google search app is always or almost always active. This setup seem to create excessive wakelocks for NlPCollectorWakeLock from the google search app (Google Now), which in turn shows up as GP services wakelocks.
The solution is to take away 2 permissions: the Google search app permissions to keep the device awake, and access location. This gets rid of the wakelocks, and still appears to keep google now etc. functional. You can do this using App Ops from the play store (needs root), or if you are on custom ROMs, through "App Privacy" menu setting. Additionally you could also turn off location history and reporting, to be on the safe side. Google Now still works, but now without the wakelocks!

another method for same fix is this one :
I know a great fix, if this can get to the top it will help a lot of people. It requires the Xposed framework and the module Wakelock Terminator. The free version lets you block 1 app, and that's all we need. Open up Wakelock Terminator, choose to block Google Play services, and filter it with the following: NlpCollectorWakeLock NlpWakeLock CheckinService NetworkLocationLocator

Here is an additional fix (thanks to ivek81cro)
Ok, i did what post said and it didn't help, then i went into Privacy guard and set deny for Keep awake for Android system. Phone then cooled down and battery drain stopped. I didn't notice that anything else changed on phone (i think i didn't messed up anything with that). Today i returned permissions to default and all is ok now, no bat. drain or heating up.

I will upload images and links as soon as I am authorized
After this "fix", I had my phone SCREEN OFF two hours without loosing any percentage, with GSM on, WiFi, BT and NFC off. (just like during night)
Still looking for solutions for SCREEN ON, will tell you !
I also have the battery problems. No matter what I do it still drains fast. When I use original 1amp charger and do something on phone my battery actually dies while charging... No idea on what's going on

OK so I am not the only one, this is already a good (bad ?) thing...
up ?
+1
-2% in 50 min. in standby, screen off, data off. :crying:
Tried everything.
Principal post eddited : Added a solution from Reddit (I can't post links because of XDA's security) for exeptional battery economy when screen is OFF :highfive:
I have same issue since yesterday, i9305, CM-11-20140531-nightly, com.android.systemui takes allmost 50%+ of battery and drains it 5%/h when in "sleep mode", testing solutions posted above, will tell you if it worked. Thanks

battery drain cm11
Try this...
Developer options enabled
Settings...performance...CPU frequency...minimum...make sure its set to lowest...tick apply on boot box.
After clean install mine was set to 2 knotches from max...set to 300 and immediately fixed all problems with battery drain.
NOTE III
SPRINT
CM11 (ALWAYS CURRENY NIGHTLY)
The below link shows the tip mentioned above about the privacy guard.
