Hey guys, I've been a long time lurker but never really posted that much.
i was wondering if there was any way that the ASUS transformer keyboard can be hacked with the gtab dock adapter? I dont im alone in this, or if not that do you think there will be some third party who would make one? I think the sale on woot and now amazon might help push manufactures to make it.
Its very less likely that the keyboard would work due to the proprietary connector.
That said, a blutooth keyboard with a 10" enclosure should work no problem, and I see many manufacturer going into this once the transformer style become popular.
There is nothing unique about the eee keyboard the convertible style keyboard was already available for IPAD2 long before any one knew about the EEE.

I just love the idea that I can have a netbook and a tablet and switch at my convenience. The links that you posted is exactly what I am looking for. Is there anything in that style that will fit the Gtab?

unfortunately not that slick, you currently can go with the clip cases with USB or BT keyboards, they are very campy compared to this (well at least the USB version doesn't cost that much).
That said, I think with the huge recent surge in GTab owners, I don't think it would be that before some go on and make a professionally looking case like the ones quoted above (esp if the EEE transformer goes popular)
Crossing my fingers to that! I've spent a lot of time looking at everything that is currently available for our G tabs, and nothing seems "professional"; instead it all looks slapped together. Engadget has been posting a few articles about the G tab and with the lower price and the over clocking kernels....
Here me hoping that some third party shines some light back in Viewsonic's direction.
Earlier this year, I purchased the asus transformer with the intention of using it for school. It was the perfect size but the only thing that annoyed me was the keyboard lag. When typing in the browser or in some documents, there was a noticeable delay between the key press and the key showing up on the screen. I sold the asus and bought a MBA for class. Here we are 6 months later and I just sold my MBA for $1050 in anticipation of getting the prime. The MBA is nice but I like the prime since I can undock the screen and use it as a tablet in the bedroom or in the bathroom lol. I am not sure if the prime has the same problem but I did do a google search and found this:

Does anyone here have this problem with their dock and keyboard? I really hope Asus has fixed this problem but I'm hoping one of the gurus here can enlighten me. Thanks and have a great day!
Hey there folks,
I want to buy a tablet,
Anyone knows what is the best(hardware, software and price)?
Thx for read
Well, personally im intrested in the asus eee pad series,
the first one its i guess around 400 but im nog 100% sure.
it gives you a tablet that has the specs you usually expect
from the samsung galaxy tab for example. but some things different.
i even prefer the eee pad because you can add a dock with a
QWERTY-Keyboard that adds up a battery and a usb-hub.
i'm looking for one myself too, but you can wait for the
asus eee pad prime, it should be in stores soon. the dock included
and comes with a quad-core processor and a 8 megapixel camera with flash.
personally i think the camera is a bit too much. because its a tablet
and not a Camera.
but this is what i prefer. i hope this helped you a little
Hey guys!
I saw a picture of the TF201 keyboard (which I have not yet purchased but plan on it) and it looked like it had an underglow light underneath the keyboard.
I haven't seen any other pictures of it where this seems to appear.
Can someone confirm or deny my suspicions?
Thank you!

No backlit keys.
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201
Thank you. Weird that I though I saw it.
There is no section yet for the Asus Transformer Pad 300, so I figured I would post it here.
I just received my new Pad 300 from Amazon and was setting it up when I realized that there are 3 or 4 dead pixels on the bottom right of the screen that are very visible with a black background.
Also, there is a hairline scratch that seems to be between the glass and the LCD screen in the middle of the screen.
Has anyone else had any screen quality issues with their new Pad 300? Is the best way to get this issue resolved through Amazon or directly through Asus?
Not trying to rain on your parade, but I'd suggest you try posting your issues/reports/etc. here:

I know that a TF300T forum does not yet exist, but we do not need to clutter up the Prime sections with everyone's individual problems on a separate device.
BTW, I have "officially" requested a separate TF300T device forum.

P.S. I'd sent it back to Amazon and get a new one.
