[Q] Accidentally locked Active - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

I'm new to android, and my friend set a "lock pattern" on my Sony Ericsson active in a party last night but he forgot it, and can't remember!
I also can't remember my google account because I never use it for anything else, I just made one quickly to get on market...
I've searched everywhere what do I do!?

you need to "format" it. And get your google account back. Restore original settings from the Sony Ericsson PC Companion.

however i am facing few problems,
1. my auto internet setting is gone.
2.after saving internet setting ,apn option remains blank.
3.i am using market enabler but how can i buy app when india is not listed in payment options although i have google checkout account but no use.
4.if i cant buy apps whats the use of rooting my xperia x10.
5. and last..will i be able to update my xperia when sony release android 2.1 flavor....
emm
well m8, i think the market ability is a region thing, so i cant help there, but you gotta install the apn setting yourself unless there is a install settings option when you reboot/factory reset, but rooting your phone just allows you to remove some garbage from your phone to aid processing speed and increase the space available on the handset memory

Sony pushing files without notification?

Did anyone notice that Sony keeps on pushing files to our devices.
The sony ereader appeared on the Sony Tablet S.
Today when using chmod, it seems that Sony modifyed it so now I cannot use it unlike before I can use it.
Its like saying that Sony can do what ever they like to our devices unless we block them with the hosts file in /system/etc/
That really bothers me, they know which command you execute and they make it has you need to be rooted to use the binary.
I mean why Sony?, at least let the Sony Tablet S be suitable for development, I cannot change permissions at all anymore on my Sony Tablet S onto shell scripts.
You know what ths means, Sony can probably can get you unrooted which is a major issue.
EDIT: I just sent an email to Sony about the issues like this one here, root, locked bootloader and APX mode. I simply had enough of the issues.
oooop!
technically sony can do that and anything, but why?
there are so many device in users hand, trace everyone is a real hard work.
and once this is confirm, sony need say many sorry to users.
I believe the apps (i.e., Reader by Sony, etc.) are not being "pushed" by Sony; instead, they are being automatically updated via Google's Play Store app. If you do not want apps to be updated, go into Play Store's Settings and turn off Auto-update apps.

No, that was disabled on my side so no, it could be anything that is allowing such thing, from the looks of it, you can root the Sony Tablet S if you can get control of such thing if you know what is allowing the over the network security hole.
Plus, the application was not there before and from the looks of it, not replacing any applications at all.

[Q] My phone seriously messed up itself

Yesterday my phone ran out of battery and it took me a while to get back to my charger. I came back late and I put my phone to recharge over night. I wake up and start my phone and it's like it's never been used before. It has done some sort of reset by itself. All these help popups comes up about how to use slides and motion etc etc. My gmail account is not registered to my phone anymore. I go through my applications and now I start to realize that something is seriously wrong.
Some of my apps are missing on my home screen and when I look for them they seem to be uninstalled, so I try to install these apps again and get the "unknown error code during application install -24" error. This is the case for 3 of my paid applications. Portfolio stocks, swift key and maps with me.
I have more problems though, 50 % of all my apps that are still installed will not even start, like all of my games for example, Every time I try to start one of these I get "Unfortunately, application has stopped" This is also the case for some other apps like skype and spotify. Most of my apps have completely dropped the app settings and information. All my whats app conversations are gone for example and my number isn't even registered anymore.
Some apps still have the icon on my home screen but when I try to start these (like googles for example) it says "application not installed" even though the icon is there.
So as you can tell there some major problem has occurred when my phone turned itself of yesterday.
Now I'm afraid my phone ****ed itself up to much to actually be recovered with is a ***** but I'm wondering how the hell could this happen? What kind of information has deleted itself and why is this possible?
And is there anything you guys think I can do except resetting the whole device. My phone is not rooted and I regret not making backups.....
I have a galaxy s3 I9300 with android 4.1.2
Regards
Victor
factory reset. don't know why it happened

[Q] Track ID history backup

Id like to transfer the trackid app history from my xperia mini pro to my moto g.
Ive tried it with titanium backup, but the app crashes on load using the moto g.
I've googled this to death and cant find much.
The app on my xperia was built in to the phone and seems to be developed by gracenote.
There is a Sony version on play store which is virtually the same but updated and slicker looking.
Ideally I'd like to use the new app, using the history from the old app, but have read the databases are incompatible.
I've looked for the file that holds the history but cant find anything.
As a last resort, I'll start again with the new app, but would like to extract the history from the old trackid on my xperia and save as a text file. I dont really want to have to type /write down the list manually!
Built in Sony app is different from others built for other devices.
LOL, you better copy your history to notes or else otherwise forget about it!

Question Nokia X100 weird notifications

I have this Nokia phone and I absolutely hate it. It's like I don't have control over my phone or account or something... I really don't know how to explain what's going on with it either. I don't like the fact that it's a Google phone. I thought all phones come with a default phone app, not this 1. I tried to download a different phone app but theres this 1 that always stays on and will not disable if that makes sense I get weird notifications every now and then, my screen layout and keyboard changes on me all the time, it's like choosing what notifications I get per app and email. Some factory apps become not compatible anymore. What I'm wondering is there a way someone could have made an OS for my phone or have a virtual machine of it or cloned an app I use?? If so how would I find out if someone got control of my stuff???
Hello, i have this phone also (X20), but no problem at all.
I see the SPEN app in your screenshot, but that is not default on the Nokia phones.
It sounds like a "S Pen" which is (i believe) an app for Samsung phones/tablets (use of a pen instead of finger).
There is a default phone app and that should just work, if you have a sim in the phone.
If i where you, i would start with checking your google account.
Do you have only a password or also multi-factor authentication (2FA)?
If you only use a password, you might want to activate 2FA on your google account, so nobody else can take over your account.
After that, you might want to reset (factory reset) your phone and start over.
I'm thinking it's my Google... I believe my husband did something to it just can't figure out what exactly
Did you lock your account (Google) with Multi Factor Authentication (MFA of 2FA) so no one else can login with your account??
If you did, did you do a factory reset of your phone?
If you do a factory reset, do not let Google install your apps and settings again (restore) by disabling the Backup/restore settings.
If you are able to ask your husband, please do. That can make it easier to reset the app or option.
