[Q] [SOLVED][APP] Font Installer Cause my Phone Can't Reboot - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hi, there..
i just installing Font Installer *Root* when i change the font, and a prompt window asked to reboot the phone, after that my phone just restarting reboot.
Is anyone have experiencing the same problem with me?
UPDATE: Already solved by reflashing, before changes any fonts make sure you have back-up your fonts or your ROM first.

You mean a boot loop?
I use Font Changer, no problems using it.
What ROM do you have?

Hello guys.
I'm using font installer *root* too, but it's not working fine.
The names under the icons appear like this: Inter.XX instead of Internet, or You.XX instead of Youtube. This only happens for icons with big names, f.e. "Google" file name or "Viber" is OK. When the name has 7 letters and above, the problem appears.
Any ideas why or how to try fixing it?

I tried to change font via Rom Toolbox and i had the same situation with you. My phone couldn't reboot and updating with WotanServer was the last chance. It costs 1.99 euro I wont change fonts anymore

Oh come on ... it's not font installers fault ...it's yours..totally and no excuses.
DID YOU MADE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE YOU MESS WITH SYSTEM FILES ???
I guess not that's why you even posted a Q & A here !!!
You didn't even bother reading for a solution to your problem.
Changing fonts does not damage your phone as long as you keep 3 simple rules
Always choose only TTF fonts
Always make sure the font you choose is compatible with your language settings
Always make a backup before changing.
Now just flash a new rom ,custom or Sony's, to get passed that bootloop error you got or search this forum for pandemic's settings and somewhere in his post he gives a CWM zip with Sony Sketch font which will recover your phone without installing new rom.
This will have to be moved to Q & A section by a moderator also.

Find Stock(.587, or the version you're using) kernel .ftf file and just flash it using flashtool, should fix you problem with no data lost

write in command prompt. I've
browsed many forums for the
solution but can't find any and the
ADB command line given in other
forums is not working so plz help. I dn't have a CWM backup. I cn't find firmware
for my device so a link for my device firmware and the steps to flash my device will be very helpful. Solutions needed urgently. Thank

First of all this is Neo V forum. Link to stock firmware might exist on your device forum. U need to reflash it to boot ur device. Ask in appropriate forum to gain proper help and solution to ur help. Thanks
