zergRush doesn't install CWM recovery. You'll need to use an app/odin to flash a kernel which includes CWM, as you currently have stock recovery.

U need CWM Recovery!
eiter Use Rom Manager app to flash only recovery or best way just flash CF Root Kernel and u will have CWM Recovery

in other word you need your phone rooted (jailbreak).

Thanks for that .

Well Thanks for the relpies. My SGS2 is just few hours old and is ALSO ROOTED. I dont want to lose the warranty since i'm not well educated with android modding and may end up bricking my phone. So if there is anyway i can flash CWM roms without losing the warranty please give me a link. Thanks in advcance .

Several choices,
kTool, http://market.android.com/details?id=net.hellcat.droiddev.ktool
Mobile Odin: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
to name a couple. Also, you're looking to flash a kernel which comes with CWM, not a ROM.

Bro , You will lose warranty if you flash the CWM recovery. The retail device come with Stock recovery and not CWM recovery. You can always root your phone , if something goes wrong, there is always ODIN to flash back to Stock ROM . You will be back to orginal shipped device . Get a USG jib, will come handy

[Q] Issue with flashing the Xperia S ICS CM9

I'm having a bit of a problem flashing this rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782771) onto my X10i. I've tried both the FXP and championswimmer kernels with the same abort message ("assert failed", then a couple of lines of text). Does anyone know the cause of this problem and/or a fix?
Installed the kernels from the very latest Flashtool (0.9.0.0), and I'm pretty sure the phone is rooted (I used to run doomkernel v6 medium overclock). Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Also, having a bit of a problem of mass storage from champswimmer's kernel. My computer seems to fail to find drivers for it whenever I connect it for mass storage and doesn't find it either. Anyone know about this as well?

Hi Panzerfaust,
I've been expecting the same issue, but then i realized that i didn't have my Bootloader UNLOCKED, so i went to this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254087, i downgraded back to 2.3.3 and then UNLOCK my bootloader using the information of header post of provided link
"If you aren't keeping your current device configuration (because of flashing another rom after unlocking bootloader or anything else) the simplest way to unlock is to flash stock 2.3.3 rom, root it and use the bl unlock plugin from latest flashtool"

Don't think that's the issue. I've managed to install custom kernels and roms without having to flash the file for when the bootloader is unlocked, and it's overclocked as well.

CM7 can be found from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=911364. You probably need to unlock your bootloader first, though, or you won't be able to flash the custom FXP kernels

Also note auto root doesn't install custom recovery, that needs to be flashed separately

Something wrong then either with following the instructions your phone or the file you flash .
On a rooted phone with CWM recovery download Siyah CWM file copy to sd card . Boot to recovery Install and locate file then flash .

What is your current ROM's version? You don't need odin to flash a custom ROM, flash it from recovery, if you want to flash a stock rom, you have to download it and flash with odin, post what you want clearly and i will try to help.

There are no such versions as 4.12 so i will assume you said 4.1.2, why do you want to return to 4.0.3? Is SC-02C is a japanese version of S2? You need to find your stock firmware, i would recommend you find a jelly bean firmware and flash it, you can use samfirmware.com to find your version, download your stock rom, plug your phone in your computer in download mode, put your rom in pda section of odin and start flash, and don't forget to wipe your phone from recovery mode, if it still gives error try nuking your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532929
