[Q] ANT+ not working - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

I have just installed FXP50.
The announcement post says that ANT+ is to be supported through precompiled modules or available source code.
Unfortunately i cannot seem to find neither. Can someone point me out documentation on how to make my Neos ANT+ work?
Thank you in advance.

Bumping this thread.
Anyone!?

[Q] custom kernel / kexec status?

hey all,
just wondering...
- what is the current status for getting custom kernels running on the x10 mini / mini pro?
- has development of a kexec module or something similar begun based on code written for other phones?
- if so, does anybody know how far people have gotten? what difficulties are we facing at the moment in those regards?
i'm wondering because if nobody has started working on a kexec module then i thought i might try, but if someone is already working on it then i'd be glad to lend a hand if needed / if i can...
cheers,
uriah

here is the development thread for bootloader bypassing (on x8, but our phones are "twined" )
it is a dev thread, so don't post anything unless you're a dev.
link is here
answers to your questions may be there

a kexec module is a kernel module which reconstructs the kexec functionality (which allows one to execute a kernel from within another kernel) that the linux kernel can have. usually kexec support needs to be built into the kernel (i.e. not a module), but by loading modules such as splboot (which is the kexec module that is being developed in the X8 bootloader bypassing thread based on work that was done for the X10) one can execute a kernel from within the current kernel even if kexec support wasn't built into it.
[EDIT] actually, splboot doesn't exactly reconstruct kexec support, but does something similar. see this post and the few that follow for more details.

[Q] AOSP ROMs - sources?

Is it right that the kernel sources were leaked recently by someone? they seemed to have disappered, did Mediatek/Xiaomi send a DMCA request? is anyone working with these sources?
Does anyone have any links to source code of people working on AOSP ROMs for the Redmi note 2?
The only sources I know of are on Github. Just search for mt6795 and look for BalcanGSM.
I read a news article from an Italian site. It said an incomplete kernel and baseband were leaked. They said " It's completely useless for ROM developers as it's utterly missing any userspace components. The kernel sources also look very incomplete Compared to normal MediaTek source releases."
So not much use I'm afraid.
Hope that of some use

[question] Which ROM supports ANT+ ?

Hi. I am happy that my old Smultron is not dead yet.
Due to its small size, I would like to reactivate it as a bicycle computer / fitness tracker. The apps that I usually use require Lollipop as a minimum.
I seem to remember that I half-heartedly tried the same already about a year ago, but did not succeed with installing the ANT+ services from the Playstore.
Currently, I am at CM13.
Now I found that in the AOKP FAQ, it is stated:
Q: Why is ANT+ not working?
A: ANT+ developers do not support our wifi chip (wl1271) beyond JB 4.1. ANT+ will never work except if we write the needed source code changes from scratch.
That leads me to the qestion: Is this true for all ROMs, or just AOKP? Or more in general: Which ROMs supports ANT+?
Umm... noone knows this?

Dunno about JB and KK ROMs

Stock Kernel build for Z2 but wifi not working

Im new to kernel compilation. I was trying to build a kernel without any modification from Sony z2 kernel source (23.5.A.1.291) to see if it works so that i can proceed modifying it to include wireless packet injection.
Most of the functions seems working except for wifi and usb otg.
Been trying various toolchains from doomlord repo. Can i have some help here? Is there any guide which i missed searching the last 4days?
Moderators.?
Is there anyone who could post this in the right section so that some devs could see this? Or can i private message anyone? I can't believe getting no help from xda.
Got it working. I wonder why Sony guides or default configs contain nothing related to this issue.

Is there a working basic kernel for source for nikel ?

Hi,
Is there a working kernel source that builds and runs fine on nikel ?I know we need correct kernel modules for fingerprint sensor and camera and such but I don't need those features, I only want a kernel source that builds and boot on the device with working screen and touch.
So does anyone have a source ?
Regards
Hi,
To be honest I just need a kernel where I can load my modules, all the precompiled kernels that I found are compiled without CONFIG_MODULES and an embedded device tree.
so if there is a compiled kernel with
CONFIG_MODULES
CONFIG_MODULE_UNLOAD
CONFIG_MODULE_FORCE_LOAD
CONFIG_MODULE_FORCE_UNLOAD
I can live with that.
Any tip is much appreciated.

This question is to be asked to Xiaomi. Then you will get the best answer

There are already multiple issues opened on Xiaomi's github account with no response, that's why third party communities like xda-developers exist.
