[Q] One headache problem in my ACE!!! - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Sometimes the phone starts responding as if i m running the ROM on some 300MHZ processor.. Full slow response!! After touching response comes after 3 seconds or so.. This problem i faced on many ROM's... Wat s it all about..?? I checked in SystemPanel app/ System tuner pro it shows CPU is 100%~99.9% thats all no coming down I need to reboot to solve it.. again it happens

Try task killer or ram scripts.

Try everything.. Now on Turbo v8.. No use ... Now rebooted phone again.. So apps hold the resource n doesn release

hey try ics final by jusada and overclock your phone.remember min and max values should be set to 844 mhz above 844 will brick ace....................and see the magic.
if above method dosenot worked try changing your baseband but 1st one will work

Which application is using 100%?

No it depends on Kernel!! We all hav same CPU.. But not same kernel!! Mine is not the OC problem.. U might be running unstable OC with tweaks i guess!!!!!! In winter u can run on OC bcoz due to cold the CPU doesn hot up much.. I overclocked upto 884Mhz. No use the resource moves upto 884 in System tuner.. Now using myth ICS no problem like that now

dude ketuts kernel everyone is using ketuts kernel for oc it dose not depend that much on temprature.every cpu is different.but yeah kernel can be improved...

That sounds like a naughty application is running and using your CPU resources. Look through ypur apps and remove any suspicious ord conspicuous apps.
Also remove apps you don't use often.

My phone, even at 844MHz crashes, so yes it depends on cpu too.

cpu max frequency automatically set to 122mhz only !! *help*

i have a problem don't know if it's related to my custom kernel i use inteks v15 , my neo some times randomly sets it's cpu maximum frequancy to as little as 122mhz only !!
max freq = 122mhz
min freq = 122mhz
and it happens randomly i mean RANDOM !! the device just becomes so laggy even the simplest stuff become laggy and i have to reset the maximum allowed cpu frequancy again to 1401mhz using sexperia to make the device act normal again !
hope some one can clear this up for me......

inteks v15 i first noticed this after installing launcher pro but i doubt it has anything to do with this cpu throttling problem
try to unistal that app :/
Maybe you are using 2 similiar cpu frequency changing app.
Uninstall all cpu apps and clear data all those apps.

does your phone throttles it's max frequency to 122mhz automatically and randomly too ?
also i only got setxperia , i.e no other cpu controlling apps , i may have installed setcpu before but i deleted it long ago before i start using setxperia !!
what do you think ? what could be the cause of this maybe some one can help us more ?
thanks all !
You don't lose anything if you uninstall setxperia.
And if problem after that dissapears...

Here this has happened to me also
So there all right uninstall all apps that change CPU. And if any use just setcpu
If it's happens just a few times then no lasting damage just the fact it may not wake up for a bit but hitting power button fast sorts that just dont set these apps to run at boot and you should have no bother sorry just seen ya post n though ad say
Peace

Query regarding GalaxyICS install.

Hi, I have both GalaxyICS and the official CyanogenMod 7.2 Nightly on my SD card. Both via CWM backup.
The CM 7.2 doesn't lag on my phone, yet the GalaxyICS lags every so often, Not sure why as it is a standard install with a few apps and such.. Does anybody know a way to make the lag stop preferably without changing CPU frequency. Maybe flash a lagfree script or something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now I know u said not by canging cpu frequency but the Ace can mantail 800mhz 24/7 so run at full speed always, so why don't u just set minimum to 480 it won't harm ur phone...
Cuz I tested and without setting minumum my Ace runs 80% under 480 wich makes it slow...

It's mainly laggy when I run apps, which in theory should not lag as it is set for 800Mhz for maximum, which is the reason I am confused about it.

CM 7.2 is a fully made rom, ics is not , because it is not finished CM 7.2 is finished, ics is not.
Yes, but for some reason the Ace doesn't always run at 800Mhz when it needs to...And I have used it without lags from Beta 5 so the nightly is fine!

Well I flashed galaxyICS when it was on beta 8 , I didn't had lags but I did changed the cpu frequency.
I think you should try change it and see if it makes the lags disappear. Again remember it's only a beta.

Please write out the words, that we can read it like a normal text! Don't only use shortcuts!
flash eXteneded stock kernel.
best and most popular governor is smartassV2
I use 249MHz min CPU freq and max 652MHz
652MHz is undervolted at 975mV
It runs really smooth with this much underclock! though I'm on GB right now....
Ya,should hav written it out full, sry.
But Im usin real ics...cant underclock...I hav to keep it @ 1184mhz,otherwise its gets stuck.or should I jst change the Rom....used miui, even it consumed a lot of batt.nu ideas....plz.

Underclocking depends on kernel, not ROM?
I've tried ICS. I have used it for a couple of months. But I then reverted to GB. It's faster, lighter, less resource hungry, no lags etc.
It's a matter of personal preference I think.
Try to choose a light ROM. With only a few performance scripts/enhancements, no excess/unnecessary apps. Real ICS as good as it is, is pretty heavy in my opinion.
~652 MHz ~ 247 MHz

Doesn't make no sense to overclock to 1184MHz.....
And 134MHz actually drains more power then 249MHz. I really wish I could give you a link to see for yourself, but I read that some time ago.
134MHz and 249MHz run on the same voltage. But 249MHz gets any job done faster then 134MHz, thus using much less CPU time. And you won't have any stuttering when playing music while screen's off with 249MHz.
That goes for all kernels. All of them have 249MHz as default min freq. Execpt MESA, which seems fine with 134MHz as far as I've seen.
Anyway, please test for yourself. Get battery monitor widget (pro). It's THE best tool for batter monitoring etc.
Thanks,I'll try.

Its possible!--" I saw someone have 1401Mhz CPU speed....
Try go search all X10 kernels... Look at all the kernels' functions / features...
You might find out your ideal kernel and overclock your X10i to 1.4Ghz...
But honestly, you don't need so fast speed on this phone...
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
If the led turns white and the phone reboots, then the frequency is to high.
Highest I've seen was 1228 but not many chips can run that fast for long.
I stay at a stable 1190.

If your phone is rooted then go to this thread:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2395931
If not...well then install as less apps as you can, stop using facebook and timeline, uninstall wisepilot, google maps or anything unnecessary.
And overclocking is the last thing I'd suggest...It drains battery like hell and reduces its life. Better thing is to root the phone, go to above stated thread and apply the mod.
Dont forget to increase dalvik vm in build.prop
Hit Thanks if I helped :good:
Remove Bloatware.
Use Seeder app.
