I was in an ill mood last night after work. I didn't realize it until after I made the post.
I don't mean to be a jerk, but it seems I came off that way. I don't mean to make others follow my views, I just want some civility and respect for each other.
For those thinking I am here trolling because I don't even have a Rezound... I do have one, got it on the penny sale, I just haven't got around to changing my sig. Got a bit lazy about that.

I think you were right. People don't have patience.
After going through 5 different 4g devices LG Revo, Tbolt, 3 Bionics before get a working one the Rezound I wasn't mad and was rewarded in the end. So I can wait forever for s-off or custom roms, so people just need to learn patience. Even if this phone doesn't get I'm happy.

I have to agree, After using my own CleanTOOL 2.1.1 I am pretty happy wit the device as is. Of crouse I am dying for the ability to showcase my ROM building skills but... I cna hold tight unitl someone figures it out. I got plenty of other cool devices to play with in the meantime....

People mistook my other thread, but is isn't their fault as they do not know me personally and my personality. It can be hard to get some things across in type.
The other thread was very tongue in cheek, a sense of false anger to stress my frustrations at the state of affairs.
I was in a bit more foul mood last night though, normally I would not have started a whole new thread.
Hey man, we're all a bit frustrated because we're used to devices that are readily-rooted and can do whatever we wish with them. However, times are changing and technology is becoming more advanced, such as the case with HTC's new bootloader on the Rezound. If we have a few good dev's working on it that haven't cracked it yet, then it's definitely locked up pretty well.
And I understand the frustration you had regarding the whiners. Yes, I need root just as bad as anyone else, but it's the raw potential of this phone ONCE s-off comes that makes me hold on to it and not return it.
Once we get it... we'll make it RAIN up in here!

It's nice to see people taking responsibility for what they put on here. Everyone has an opinion that they are entitled to. Bashing others for not sharing the same opinion is childish. I came from the Thunderbolt and that forum got bad enough I just left. It's good to see most people here are grown ups.
I am excited to see what the awesome devs that are working on this phone are going to cook up for us. If we could all show them appreciation for the unpaid time they spend for our enjoyment, they may want to spend more time looking for that elusive S-Off solution.
They work hard for hardly anything. Some kind words of encouragement and appreciation will go a long way. They will also see this as more of a community than a hood with graffiti and tags on every wall.

I work aviation and had to fix other people's screw ups last night (and last several days) and screw ups in the aviation world are a big deal, so I take it seriously. When one person is a cause of many problems I get irked... Combine that with the fact my Internet was down all night and tethering was acting up so I had to use the phone to get online... Just a storm of irritation that caused me to use poor judgements.
At least you guys don't hate me for it.

As of late, there have been numerous outbursts by forum members that have caused this forum to go haywire and this place isn't as welcoming as it should be. A great Dev has already raised his concerns for the hostility that has occurred and it is obvious OUR actions have been the root of this issue.
I know we're all excited about this new phone and the possibilities once S-Off is achieved but we really need to come together and combine our knowledge (some more than others obviously) and make this a great experience for all. There will be many new "faces" to android and HTC phones in general which do not know how things work but let's try to be patient and not snap back with snooty or disrespectful remarks.
At the end of the day, we are all here to improve our device ad increase in knowledge. It takes respect to earn respect so let's keep it cool between all of us (members, Devs, & Mods) so we may continue to be productive and learn.
Basically keep your effin mouth shut and fingers still unless u have something real to add. Any problems u have with someone keep it in pm's. One of the biggest reasons why this forum sucks and alot of ppl left and refuse to come back. Grow up and shut up

I don't care if this is XDA, Android Forums, RootzWiki... they're all here for us to communicate about the devices and to help each other. I enjoy getting on the forums and helping to troubleshoot issues or to celebrate new modifications for our devices, but it makes it difficult when everyone is fighting each other.
Let's just be calm and patient. We're very close to having Rezound freedom. Once it's official, things will be much calmer and everyone will want to work together on this device!

Hahah damn my job! You guys think you're mad? Our main store f'ed us hard...sent us micro sim cards for rezounds, then promised to over night us regular ones, and then over nighter us micros. We lost five 4g phone sales today, 3 of which were mine (tbolt, and two rezounds) because we didn't have sim cards to activate their phones. The boss called the main store yelling and madethem Saturday over night us regular Sims even tho it cost them like 25 shipping haha we've had it...such an angry day....keep in mind we dont have 4g here so selling 4g phones is really damn hard. Gd it

Sprint has shutdown CIQ so no more data will be tracked which is good.
Something I found on the net talking about how HTC along with Samsung have been tracking personal info on phones.
This has been going on for a while now. Sprint shut it down tho. Now just some lawsuits are going on.

Alil old tho it's still on the news from time to time. Not too old. Rooting a phone is nice since you can take out the tracking crap. The folks with no root are kinda stuck with it.
He pointed it out this month. There are more folks adding law suits against HTC and Samsung. They are making some news about it.
Figured it would be nice to keep up to date on it. Alot of folks don't know about it hopefully they will now.

Also a fourm moderator seen it so the thread seems fine were it is No harm done. Anyways was just keepin track of the lawsuits they were doing. I know it's been shut down.

Better Device??
The Rezound is getting so much love these days by devs, it's really making it hard to decide which ROM to use as my daily driver. I come from a gnex, and it was all the same rehashed stuff. Didn't even have OTA updates on those Roms.
Talk about the come back kid! Couldn't be happier to be in this community, and for good reason. We have awesome devs who work hard, and an amazing device. At least on vzw, it really is the one of the strongest devices, and I think people are finally realizing that.
I just wanted to throw that out there, and I hope some devs read this and realize just how much we appreciate you choosing to support this phone.

Yeah right after Google IO everyone was like "MUST. HAVE. JELLY. BEAN." and a lot of guys left for the nexus.
1 month later, the devs are pumping out awesome ROMs.
I suspect many phones have dry spells.
I figured it would pass....it really is a burden being right all the time!

If people were loyal, then we would have gotten out sooner. Development slows for a few weeks, and everyone leaves.
