I had the lock screen set up how I wanted, with the clock I wanted and same with the home screen. Then I downloaded some stupid digital clock app that did something different than what I wanted (it made it look like an iphone clock). Now, I can get the clock I want on the lock screen, but with the wallpaper I have on the homescreen (I want it to have its OWN paper). Or I can have the wallpaper I want on the lockscreen, but only with that stupid digital clock app I downloaded. I have been trying everything I could think of for the last hour to get it back how I wanted and cant. Does anyone here have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
ETA I am rooted if that makes a difference. TI doesnt show the stupid clock in there, but its still in there somehow.

Hi all.
My lady is having problems with main screen icons (default UI) disappearing from buttons, is hers fault indeed, but as i have checked myself is very easy to drag and drop icons from there, is there any way to lock these 4 icons on their places and be able to change than only when going into configuration mode?
Cheers.
i am using adw launcher and it is able to lock the icons
Right, in act of desperation contacted with SE support, been told that there is no way to lock those icons, they made it that way to make it easy to change whenever you want... fair enough, tho option to lock it for good wouldn't hurt anyone i believe.
Cheers
@whiteze I have often the problem that the icons drafted to other pages . Do you bother to make everything neat. State suddenly everything together. With empty space per page.
installed adw instead, there option to make icons larger, locked screen, problem solved
I was wondering if it was possible to lock my clock widget in place when scrolling through home screen pages, kinda as if it were in a dock and locked in place.
Does anyone know what I mean and if/how this is possible?

Click to collapse
No that's not possible. The only way you could do it is having multiple instances of the same clock on every homepage.
Hmm, but it is possible for apps to be in a dock that stays around all the time, why isn't that possible for a widget?
I've an issue regarding the combination of the Beautiful Widget screen unlock animation and the widgetlocker app that I was hoping someone could give advice/pointers on. I'm using a Nexus S with Oxygen 2.3.1 ROM
I have beautiful widget on one of my homescreens with the unlock animation activated. I've also got Widgetlocker activated on top of the android pattern unlock. What I notice is that weather animation sometimes has issues appearing.
When I unlock the device, turn the screen off, and unlock the device very quickly, the animation does appear. But if I wait a few extra seconds before screen-unlock, the animation sometimes shows up.
If i use only widgetlocker or only the android pattern unlock, the animation always appears.
has anyone reproduced this issue or know a way around it? thanks!!
I've got the same issue. I use the pin lock, but same thing. It seems if you unlock quick enough, you can see the animation, but it disappears a split second later. Its like Widget Locker triggers the animation instead of the pin lock screen, and the animation is starting behind the scenes while i type in my pin. Your right though, if I turn the screen off, then unlock again right after, it works.
I think there are two issues here:
1. The Android unlock screen should trigger the animation, not Widget Locker
2. The animation does start, but the duration is set to 20 seconds, and it dies within 1 second.
I was hoping there was a Widget Locker setting that might compensate for this. I tried "root helper" to no avail. Also, there is a setting that says "Retain System Keyguard (not recommended. but may help interactions with other lockscreen-related programs)", no dice.
For what it's worth, I have a Samsung Infuse 4g running SGH_I997_UCKK4 Rom (a Samsung leak).
I'm using fold 3 fancy widget stoped working all together. So now I've installed beautiful widget a nd the unlock animations are not working at all. When I open the app I see the clouds moving so I know It should be working. I've cleaned the cache and still nothing any suggestions from anyone? Wish there was another app to have windshield whiper when it rains like fancy widget...
I've downloaded this to use for my home screen clock. I've got it set at the very top just reading the time. Is there a way to get weather being read down the side of the screen? I want it to hug the left side of the screen so it doesn't interfere with my wallpaper. I thought it was as simple as setting it to a 1x3 or something widget as opposed to 3x1, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
Hi all,
I'm running CM11 Nightly (20140107) on my GT-I9195 (S4 Mini). I'm required to have a PIN lock due to Exchange Policy, but I am able to modify the lock screen widgets. Since I have lowered the DPI for my System UI, I have quite a lot of room available above the PIN lock.
Apart from the date, time, weather and agenda provided by the cLock widget, I think I should be able to fit some more things in there, for example additional system information or some application shortcuts. I would like to have date, time and weather on the top-left, some other widget(s) on the top-right, and full-width agenda underneath.
However, I think you are only allowed to have two full-screen widgets on the lock screen; one default, and another one when you scroll to the left. So, I guess I should use some 'super' widget for this; a widget that is simply a container for other widgets. Does anyone know whether something like this exists? I have found Widget Maker in the Play Store which seems to fit my needs, but although it works fine as a regular home screen widget, it does not show up in the list of widgets when adding a lock screen widget.
Please note that I'm aware of WidgetLocker; I've used this before. The drawback is that you need two steps to unlock your device; first dismiss WidgetLocker, then enter your device PIN. So if possible, I would like to combine the standard PIN lock screen with multiple custom widgets.
Any suggestions?
