S5830DXKC1 latest is 2.2.1
is it ok to flash other baseband that was 2.3.4?
or different baseband different region?
or someone using S5830DXKC1 could help me??

Its fine to flash other region firmware. I ws on KC1 when i got this fone. Then i flashed KPH(europe firmware) without any problem. Latest asia firmware is KPD 2.3.4.

i had updated my indian 1.6 firmware to 2.1 nordic one...
as now indian firmware has been released, i want to reinstall to 2.1 indian firmware.... i tried changing d codes n also tried by repairing my firmware via pc companion, but got errors... also i tried via seus, but it said u hv d latest firmware n there was no repair option.... so now what should i do?????? plz help me out

If you r looking at your phones settings/about section and the part that says basband version said what u said, then u have .54 baseband.

My stock updated rom was running bb54 (courtesy of sony repair center, although I had had bb67 installed)
when I was on 1.6 my bb was .46

Yup, just confirmed it, stock (2.1.A.0.435), runs on bb54, and it flashes to that version no matter what you had before.
Basebands vary by region. That's basically the difference between global generic X10a and X10i firmware.
Can you be more specific?
Hello i am Running on 2.3.4 KPH is there any better Firmware than the KPH???
The others are all 2.3.3. but dunno if one is maybe better and faster etc. then the KPH 2.3.4 i am from Germany and dunno witch Firmware is best for Europe Regions??

If I remember correctly , KPB is 2.3.4

Kpo is very stable and an official release from Samsung, I would use that and I'm from britain

Lol... Wat was tht! 2.3.4 isnt JUST kpb.
@topic... I hv used kph fr long and kpn too. Bt idont find much of a difference. However.. If u read thru the forum.. Ull see lots of ppl suggesting kph being best.
P.s. Ive used kpn only with flash x2 nd not on base samsung provided ginger

Hey I was searching for gingerbread baseband .64 or .66 or .69 ftf file fo live with walkman on xda and didn't find them :crying: i want to go back to gingerbread and i dont want to download the whole gb frimware for baseband only so plz if somebody have any links for baseband i would appriciated so much...:angel: Another question can i run GB ROm on baseband .77 ????
