I went to sleep with my phone having about 80%, but my phone becomes 30% 8 hours later.
That's like 50% drain over 8 hours with screen off.
This is my battery usage graph

this is my cpuspy status
And this is my batterystats
I think the only posssible problem is that my phone doesn't go to deep sleep at all
What is causing this problem and how do I fix it?

Even with the phone running at 200mhz with the screen off it shouldn't drain 50% in 8 hours.
Check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308030 if ya haven't already. Lots of good info and help there .

Have you used sixaxiscontroller by any chance?
The only people I know of that have had long bt_wake wakelocks were certain CM7 releases, and people who use sixaxiscontroller (it somehow causes a permanent bluetooth wakelock until you turn bluetooth off/on).
Something Bluetooth-related is flaking out on you.
Sir, your phone.. Is being raped at night. That is all.

Yeah I do use sixaxiscontroller
That's probably the main reason I guess
Should I uninstall it or is there a specific setting to prevent the drain?

I forget the exact trick, but I think if you toggle Bluetooth off then on after shutting it down, it will fix the problem.
I think there may be a way to make sixaxiscontroller shut down cleanly too, but I'm not sure.
There was some trick involving disabling things in the right order when you were done with it that worked, I forget the exact order - might want to search here for sixaxiscontroller.

Phone has been unplugged for 9 hours and the battery is down to 17 percent. I looked at my battery usage and this gpsd is eating it up.

It's related to your gps. Did you download anything that could be using it. Google it and it could possibly be malware that's stayed on even if you've uninstalled the culprit app. Recommend a full wipe

Just a little update: I let the battery run out, recharged it, and the phone has been fine today. gpsd doesn't even show up on the battery usage screen.
Maybe it was something that got stuck on yesterday.

So odd--same thing happened to me. Noticed it dropping like a rock, looked and it's gpsd running. I haven't used anything with gps. I'm on omega 5.0 with stock kernel. Rebooting now.

So is it better after rebooting?
Well?

I can only guess that GPSD is obviously the GPS demon, which means turning off GPS does not affect it, however it would seem that a process is locking up the demon, so another application would be hogging it. A Reboot will fix the problem however, well until you launch that app which nails it again.
Samsung Dive also triggers gpsd and doesn't shut it down. After reboot it is solved.

Now that you mention it, I was messing around with dive when this happened.

facebook app also seems to turn gps on. As buggy as that app is, I wouldn't put it past it to mess up the gps part as well.
I had the same thing too. A reboot seemed to solve it. I wasn't using dive.
I've been using ICS en.EU leak (676.226.3) for 1 and a half month, and then some days ago, this started...
Yesterday I charged my phone full and didn't even touch it for more than 6 hours, just to show that how Android OS is eating my battery, it keeps my phone awake :/

First is this a Maxx?, that's actually not horrible. It comes to about 3% an hour at idle I typically hey Scott 1_2 with my Maxx. Try turning off wifi and the OS should be you're second biggest drain after the screen so if you don't touch the screen then it well become you're number 1.

No, it's not a Maxx.
It annoys me, that it awakes the phone in every 15 mins or so...

I don't think you're wifi is turning off because that history shows wifi staying on. Also for a non Maxx that seems about right, but if that's worst then normal boot into recovery and clear your caches. I had drain issues once and a good clear fixed it right up plus I personally think your should clear them every now and then

Hi guys, after a little cruising around the forums I managed to get my galaxy s2 working just how I want! I have a question though... whenever I do a battery pull or restart my phone the battery life shoots down like crazy!? Does anyone else's i777 do this? Is it normal or do I need to fox something. All the roms I have used have this issue for me. I am on CM9 right now. Please share your thoughts! You can see the 2 pulls I did during the day

You should not pull the battery out while the phone is on. Holding the power button for about 20 seconds achieves the same result. Hope this helps

This is something I think all of our phones experience. The way I understand it is a bug in our battery's fuel gauge, the battery level does not actually drop, but the phone just mistakenly reads it that way. I've read a few posts where if you remove your battery for a couple minutes and then charge the phone to a 100% after putting it back in, it recalibrates things. It seems to work for me until I flash other roms, but I cannot confirm 100% if it really does work.
Very true and sometimes its very frustrating to see a drop from 40% to less than 10% right after a reboot.
Will some battery calibrating apps can fix this?

I have an extremely strange problem with the battery of my s3. When I'm at home, where my signal is extremely poor I last roughly a day wasting 40/50% so that's after 15 hours of discharge. When I'm at work I.e walking taking the train etc, just generally at work my battery goes down 70%!!!!! In 5 hours with minimal use. Eg. Screen on for 20 minutes. Voice calls 10minutes. I can sometimes Ferrell that the s3 Is warm surely it can't be because of the fact it's in my pocket causing the s3 bather to start warming up. I have tried using better battery stats but it gives no reference set yet. Can someone please assist in how to check what the culprit maybe? GPS is off Google now is off. WiFi is off power saving is on. All apps have been closed. Is identical to what I have at home.
Run better battery stats look for wakelocks.

I've noticed that lately (couple of months) my beloved Z4 tablet's battery performance is less than optimal.
I'm about to go through the song and dance of battery optimization, but I wanted to find abusive apps.
Here's what I see; battery is being consumed mostly by the bluetooth connection I keep on nearly 100% of the time I'm using my tablet because of the BK50 keyboard.
Is anyone experiencing something similar or has any recommendation?
thanks,

Im using lineage os and some gladly helped me out with battery im sure tis will work on stock rom no root too. Enable aeroplane mode, disable WiFi when screen is off and disable Bluetooth. Not sure why but I noticed WiFi greatly drains the battery having it off makes it last much longer.

I would try to upgrade to the latest ROM and hopefully some Bluetooth settings are reset after this.
If this does not help do a factory reset.
You could also try a search on "bluetooth reset" on xda.
I get several days of usage (reading, websurfing in the evenings) out of my tablet where Bluetooth is normally switched of.
On my SONY XZ where Bluetooth is on but only utilized in the car or sometimes with a headset it does not even make it to the list of battery drainers.
