I've been using ICS en.EU leak (676.226.3) for 1 and a half month, and then some days ago, this started...
Yesterday I charged my phone full and didn't even touch it for more than 6 hours, just to show that how Android OS is eating my battery, it keeps my phone awake :/

First is this a Maxx?, that's actually not horrible. It comes to about 3% an hour at idle I typically hey Scott 1_2 with my Maxx. Try turning off wifi and the OS should be you're second biggest drain after the screen so if you don't touch the screen then it well become you're number 1.

No, it's not a Maxx.
It annoys me, that it awakes the phone in every 15 mins or so...

I don't think you're wifi is turning off because that history shows wifi staying on. Also for a non Maxx that seems about right, but if that's worst then normal boot into recovery and clear your caches. I had drain issues once and a good clear fixed it right up plus I personally think your should clear them every now and then

I have the same problem.Android OS eating battery ! Deep sleep unused ..(Learnt from cpuspy).
1.U can flash 180.70.33 using RSD lite.
2.try flashing Blusleepfix.zip from recovery

I went to sleep with my phone having about 80%, but my phone becomes 30% 8 hours later.
That's like 50% drain over 8 hours with screen off.
This is my battery usage graph

this is my cpuspy status
And this is my batterystats
I think the only posssible problem is that my phone doesn't go to deep sleep at all
What is causing this problem and how do I fix it?

Even with the phone running at 200mhz with the screen off it shouldn't drain 50% in 8 hours.
Check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308030 if ya haven't already. Lots of good info and help there .

Have you used sixaxiscontroller by any chance?
The only people I know of that have had long bt_wake wakelocks were certain CM7 releases, and people who use sixaxiscontroller (it somehow causes a permanent bluetooth wakelock until you turn bluetooth off/on).
Something Bluetooth-related is flaking out on you.
Sir, your phone.. Is being raped at night. That is all.

Yeah I do use sixaxiscontroller
That's probably the main reason I guess
Should I uninstall it or is there a specific setting to prevent the drain?

I forget the exact trick, but I think if you toggle Bluetooth off then on after shutting it down, it will fix the problem.
I think there may be a way to make sixaxiscontroller shut down cleanly too, but I'm not sure.
There was some trick involving disabling things in the right order when you were done with it that worked, I forget the exact order - might want to search here for sixaxiscontroller.
title says it all really everytime my phone is around the 30-40% range it drops suddenly to 19% always to 19% and I have no clue why I've calibrated, wiped and did a restart while plugged in battery pull and still nothing.
Any suggestions?

Try to see which applications are running and what is more consumundo battery.
And also recommend that you calibrate. Me, whenever I do this procedure, I have a good improvement in autonomy.
Does this happen across different ROMs? You might have a bad battery.

Use Better Battery Stats and Watchdog Lite to see whats happening. In watchdog lite u can set the cpu percentage max to be 20% so that anything going beyond that can be reported. Usually works for me.

I think it might have been the state my battery was in when I flashed the first time because it hasn't done it yet and I was rom surfing last night nothing out of the ordinary happened I'll report back after work tomorrow that should be a good enough time to test it out

We all talk about battery life but i want to know how is your battery life with your screen on? Lately I've been getting around 6 to 7 hours of screen time. I have the Maxx. Is that good or bad? How is everyone else?

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
I do. Until I got the maxx I've tried talking h about this topic before but the conversation usually ends in "oh the screen always uses that much battery, and battery is the number on battery consumer" so I kinda just gave up on this issue

It as well as battery life in general are very subjective depending on usage.
If you have data off and watch a series of dark movies the screen on time will be longer than someone streaming porn on LTE.

With data on what is your on screen time? Is 5-6 hours good? I'm not in a4g area and display is between 30-50 percent

I think it has been six or seven hours was the fastest I have killed the battery with screen on and trying to drain the battery.

Hi everyone. I've seen couple friends of mine saying that their S3 last like 2 days. I can't even see the night with mine. I used the screen only an hour but it's already %37. I guess there's something wrong. Can you check it out and tell me if it's normal?

What do you suggest me to do? I bought this from USA but now I'm in Turkey so I don't have warranty here. Do you think if I buy a new battery it's gonna fix?
Get yourself a Battery Mix from playstore, observe the graph and try to find out which application is using the cpu, I mean, see which one is constantly using the cpu even though you didn't use it.
(eg: on my phone google chrome and line are the main culprit)

Try using better battery stats and see what is causing wakelocks so u can fix them and ur battery will last longer

That´s not normal, i am on Jelly Bean stock rom and rigth now i have 32% left with 1d and 9h43m, with normal use, phone calls, sms, wi-fi on.
I bought the Samsung Extra Battery Kit a while ago. At first I thought it was just placebo, but now I am pretty sure that the newer battery has a 1/3 better battery life than the one the S3 came with.
So I think not all batterys are created equal or degenerate after a few months too quickly.

Well, I don't know if this helps much, but I've rooted and disabled quite a few background apps. I currently have a little over a gig of RAM free. Anyway, I have 77% battery left, and I have a screen-on time of 41 minutes and it's been 8 hours, 36 minutes since I last charged it! For me, battery life has been a dream.

I am unlimited data. Don't use wifi. That is pure 4g.
Yesterday 5:14 screen on time with 13% Battery left
That's with all Syncs are manual (other then work email once per hour) and only air call-accept and quick glance on, all other motion and gestures off
Thats all mobile man 3g/4g i just keep all the goodies off and keep screen auto or even lower. Sync off is importent to. I also use the power saving mode sometimes and it does not impede performance much. Not noticable
got 16 hours out of a charge last night, on screen time was about 3.5 hours
