What is good stock Rom for ICS2 Final? KPH or KS9? . . . or can you suggest stock Rom.
Thanks
Does this not defeat the whole object of ICS2 Final?
Dude in my opinion use kph

Exactly .
The stock ROM will eventually be formatted by formatting /system.....so it's the same actually

I think the question should be what firmware will be recommended before flashing ICS final
I want to ask the same that presently my firmware is DXKPB and the latest asian version is DDKQ6 so if I upgrade to DDKQ6 and then flash ICS final will it make any difference in the performance

It won't any difference , the one you should be thinking about is baseband .

thank i've done it u rescue my life ^^
So, I installed stock 2.3.3 KPW, the newest firmware. I suppose that my phone would work better if I installed a new kernel. Can anyone tell me how to do it and can I even do it on KPW? I read about CF-ROOT but it's a little complicated.
Complicated or not, cfroot is the only custom kernel we had for now. If u already read about it u should already know howto install it.
Sent from your phone
But KPW works just fine with stock kernel. Anyway, you can flash CF-root if you want without any problems.
I just did and it all went fine. Converted to ext4 and voila, its faster and now I have BLN. I got almost 1600 in quadrant(which is of course irrelevant).
i thought u can use cwm to install stock rom back...am i wrong?

Per the developer's own FAQ, Speedmod is only compatible with ROMs that are Samsung based, and not with any AOSP or AOKP based ROMs. (includes CM and MIUI)

Sorry, I don't recommend ROMs. And per this post, (I know you didn't ask for the "best" ROM, but the message is the same) the main spirit behind this board is trying things out for yourself.
Just wanna know the compatible roms sir. Thanks and have a good day

Yes , it should be an 'Unbranded' one thats all
see link below for the same ma8
Stock JB firmwares (4.1.2)
PS- Some times u have to change the CSC if u want future OTA updates from ur Region when on a diff region firmware
Also see to it that in Future u wont create 'Multiple' threads for each of ur issue, instead Edit the same thread/Title/Post.
I saw the link u ve sent me..
But do i hav to root my fone before tht? Or just do the steps shown there is sufficient??

Yes, use Odin as instructed and you should do fine.
The spanish version and any other versions would definitely have English language.
The CSC Changer app requires root permissions to work. Just follow the instructions, that's all.

That thread is about the differences between releases.
We got battery threads all over the forums.
Take a couple of hours and read what other users experienced.
Battery drain is always settings related, If we'd had a magic app that would stop battery drain you'd know about it.

That's Kazakhstan unbranded ROM. How do I know that? I went to the same place you went.
Notice that if the ROM listed has got "( )" right next to it, what's inside is the ROM's carrier brand (E.G Vodafone).
You'll get future updates yes, via OTA or kies; it depends.
